i saw that while i was wating for one of my low levl friends in sea of greed to help him/her levl. i also saw a lot of other low levls coming in. (not evin levl 2 yet) and dieing as soon as they tryed to fight.
(most of them didn't evin know to go fight the slim...)
there should be something that lets new chars no to not go in to sea of greed untill they have levled higher. (or have a high levl char with them)
*sign post dosnt seem to work for that.... maybe lowering of moving it may help.

Yup you are right!
There are some very dangerous areas in Roumin too that are tough for lev 20s to handle too and it would be nice if they were marked with a sign or something.
Like the top of the hill in Forest of tides.
There are Smart Phinos, Kiblings and Lizardmen up there.
Low levels go up the hill and never come back down again.
Same with Sand Beach that borders the Sea of Greed
But the boat to the Sea of Greed is the worst by far because they get stranded in Elderine and can't get back to Roumin.
I have seen so many characters running around Elderine with really low levels asking how to get back to Roumin and right away you know how they got there.
I have given out so many return to Roumin scrolls I have lost count.
It would be better if characters below lev 15 could not even access the Sea of Greed because they have no business even being there because they just get killed within a couple of seconds and wind up spawning into Elderine.
Just my opinion.

Yes its called Kill Stealing plenty of people do it but there are ways to get your revenge.
For example me and my friend Cassius were in Moonlight Tomb awhile ago there was a Lv 1 fighter there trying to kill steal from us so Cassius led the Spider to the teleporter back to Elderine. After he went through the teleporter the Spider changed target and went for the noob so after the Spider killed the noob I simply rubbed it in by walking over the noobs corpse as I headed back to Elderine

If they would grab the newbie quest as soon as they started playing it would lead them to where they need to be.But most just run around like a chicken with it's head cut off and don't bother to use any common sense. Thus they end up in Sea of greed to be slaughtered. I guess some people have to learn the hard way though.
The signs that are posted were clearly visible to me.
To get back to Roumen all they need to do is zone into Forest of Mist and die. It sends them back to Roumen and if they are under 10th level( 95% of them are) then they won't lose any exp and they get a free ride home to where they belong at that level.

Haha yeah, but I can do it now without having to port out, it's not difficult.
I was in collapsed prison today and some annoying noob kept coming in and trying to KS us.
Something needs to be fixed, or some kind of solution to be implanted in the game because it's a real pain in the backside.
It's one thing if it's a friend coming to talk to you, give you something, or you telling them to come so you can train them... Or even if the person is making an HONEST mistake but when someone does it on purpose, it tends to get annoying.
The only solution I could think of is to put REASONABLE level restrictions to certain places.
Not something like "Can only enter if level 1-10, etc". More like something that prevents you going somewhere such as Collapsed Prison unless your like level 30, etc.
Not to limit it TO much, but just enough so that people who make an honest mistake don't pay for it, and for the level 1's to just NOT be able to go in.
Something of the sort.

They used to try and get a few swats in on my mobs in Moonlight Tomb in CB.I put a stop to that! That is where the archers " Nature's Protection" skill comes in handy. Just pop that spell off and watch the mob instantly turn and squash them like the bugs they are :p
I bet I killed 50 of them that way during CB hehe

I agree with everything here, but I see one flaw. While I may not be the strongest character in the game (lvl 17 archer) I still do know a lot about more advanced areas (luminous stone 1 and 2, collapsed prison, Moonlight tomb etc.) only problem is, say a noob lvl 1 has a powerhouse friend lvl 35 (by the by, what is the lvl cap to this game?) the friend may choose to plvl him, but if the lvl 1 can't go into the area, then it will just take a BLOODY long time to plvl them back at the FoT.

In that situation the "powerhouse" lvl 35 friend should create a new char and duo with his lvl 1 friend, powerleveling is the source of all evils. It creates tanks that don't even know what snearing kick is(let alone tank), clerics that don't know jack about healing and mages/archers that don't know how to walk the hate line(so they don't get hit). I'm all for anything that hurts powerleveling. (^.^)b

I think for now the lvl cap is 60...but I have heard as the game goes on it is raised, in the asian version of the game I hear its like one-hundred and something..so I don't think I'll ever have to worry about that xD.

Most annoying I see in these high lvl areas (moonlight tomb and higher), are low lvl ppl (under lvl 25) that are trying to enter a party and slack around while suck XP. In case of clerics, I don't mind much as long as they heal good enough. But when it come to tank who can't stand a hit, or dmg dealer who are unable to hit mobs, that's a bigger issue.

LOL, i was talking more about the problem that there are a lot af NEW people that go in to sea of greed and have NO idea that it is WAY to high levl for them.
i have had to show many people were to find the slim....
also as far as joining high levl partys gose that is a fast way to levl.. i do it too.
-but ussaly with a party of people that i have helped out with my higher levl char-
*if done right you can get to levl 20 in 1-2 days.
(i can see why people are doing that-and there isn't much you can do to help at that levl)
**ofcoure now that we are all around the same levl levling has slowed down quite a bit.
