our aoe

im just asking. to about what lvl will we not be able to aoe with an aco in our side anymore?

right now i can aoe lombards with just a few defence (2-3?) from going to
the 170+ defence needed maps.

i have never trusted my magic shield enough to aoe more than 6-10 monsters same time since its maybe gone so soon. so i trust the normal defence + tank method instead of trying to keep distance and slightlest lag might kill you.

so anyone know when we will not be able to aoe with our lvls being to high with our sucky defence?
like for an example
"around lvl 85 you have to have so frigging high enchanted gears that its impossible to get almost and you will just be soloing now on."

right now i have fully +4/6ap gears only and the incubator +3 defence
so this whole question will be if its worth for me to go finish pet quest for it to be gone. i think this item is way to pro since our defence sucks to be giving it away this soon ;P
so the more information about when our lvls are to high to even have the gears to aoe with clerics and buffs and stuffs so i will know when i will be finishing the pet quest ;P

To my knowledge, a mage's defense is too low at each level to successfully tank.(i.e. 1-4 dmg per hit AND the monsters don't run when u try to kill) Not really a good judge of this myself since I never have more than one +3 6ap gear.(Xens are out of my comfortable price range for now) I would seek advice from someone like Foger or Nazty since they often have high defense(for mages) armors. Hope you find the answer you're looking for! Remember tho that the maximum defense for an archmage with all +10 6ap gears is approximately 297 def.(without incubator)

highest lv map i safely aoed was kramer forest that was with +4/5 6ap gears,cape, and cleric buffs thats whole map safely(and yes they were greyish light blue xD)...... as far as magic sheild 7 hit aoe goes ive safely pulled about 5ish mobs in edine/chant although with another mage and a lil party u can pull more with magic shield just have the other mage frost mob off ya and rotate yer binds to kill. anything higher than kramer u will need to go to the relm of all +7+ gears other than that its pretty much cs pot/hp buff/7% pend suicide aoe.... i dont recomend shield aoe or cs pot aoe casue u change yer focus from protecting healer to focusing on not getting hit and that usually has more bad times than good .... lol in a world where everyone does hard aoe wiz ends up being the most efficient aoer i guess O_o

but ! in my opinion the best way to enjoy our aoe is in aoe duo with 2 mages u can actually when a bunch of mobs all together just cast frost and just blow them up with our aoe its so fast and we dont have to get hit!! well..... maybe a few hits :x but thats what magic shield is for :D we are the fastest mass killers in game with our aoe ! gathering is overrated anyway just run through map and pwn the hell outa it and if u get a chance and alota mobs all together for duo frost... go for it !!

no lol say lv 87 by then u can aoe loren easy with enhanced helm and armor ! xp is kinda lame tho ><but it sure is fun to c the reactions from ppl when they c taht its the mage who has the mobs xD! oh well so fast kill not like we hog mobs. although the time is short casue they will run soon xD lv 89 and u need binder to hold mobs when kill.

at lv 80 u can do the map b4 senin i forget what its called its off of jot i messed around on those maps when rud mobs ran xD

got fully +4 gears right now and cape and aco lvl 41 i usually runs with.
well i wont be finishing petquest yet then for a while :D waiting for last step since i think incubator is to good with +3 yet ;P

aww deviot i think everyone forgot about that T_T. and only one to my knowledge to comment on it was break so i think all hope for the movement died when he left Dx it was fun to hope for while it lasted but my hope on that died in about 3 months of no word and lame updates ><

but when i think back on it now it really woulda made us invincible if it just lasted for a time limit xD we would b ubber overpowered in pvp only thing that would kill us is dots xD

u can they wont run from u at loren at lv 88 and u can do kramer till like lv 90 its just xp is lame its same xp as some lv 100 warrior that aoes chant or edine still xD

Chant is even easy at my lvl (excluding the dcs)

well uh, its awsome money and exp for solo aoe. It starts getting somewhat lame at 96 and by level 100 its borderline overlevel, so drop rate suffocates and dies x_x
By then your pretty much just hoping for enough drops to not lose money on your next rp xD


I wouldnt aoe taq.. 1/3 aoe is serious business and honestly I cant afford the sparkcash pots for it lol
The first two new desert maps are 2/3 tho and, although I cannot aoe there quite yet, give very good exp -probably close to 0.8 for aoeing the full map at my level.
+drops are even good when I solo there and every1 knows fighters are one of the most inefficient classes to solo with xD

well i must say that i am used to nonstop grinding from other games i played.
did solo grinding since i started when i didnt partied with my friend or the few parties i had (can count on one hand i think)
prefer soloing since gives more loots and stuffs. ;P
but solo aoe ftw i say ;P

Im always soloing at Turmeit. If you ever want a duo just give me a call. I will be staying at Turmeit even after when i change to 3rd class and im there everyday for countless hours. Like i said if you want a duo partner, im your man.
