I'm not sure how many of you know about this technique.. I'm sure many of them know how to use the Unarrest technique where you have to poke or hit the mob at least one time before you use Unarrest so that the mob would not become aggressive after Unarrest..

Nonetheless, this is the same technique as above but you don't have to use Unarrest to stop it from becoming aggresive after Arrest.. For me, putting Unarrest key on the hotkey is a waste because you can use that one slot for better skill or recovery item.. I personally dislike to use Unarrest and I use them less than 30 times because I'd rather wait for the cooldown to over or use this technique to nullify them.. It is better to press Alt + S and use Unarrest from there rather putting on hotkey..

It is easy and basically the same as the Unarrest poking technique:

Poke using staff or use any damaging skill (Magic Fire, Magic Ice etc) on the Arrested mob when the cooldown is almost over (about 10-15s after Arrest).. Once the cooldown is over, it will nullify them from becoming aggressive..

DON'T poke or hit the arrested mob too early because it does not work.. It works only when the 20s cooldown is almost over.. AND make sure you hit them for 1 damage, don't miss it..

Advantages:

During the cooldown, you have time to use Concentration, Magic Shield and HP/MP healing potions before you poke/hit the mob.. OR if you don't have much time to poke and use Unarrest, just hit them before the cooldown to nullify them..

It just another method of nullifying the mob if you don't want to use Unaarest or don't have much time to do so.. Basically another option for Magicians~

i love the fact that we can unarrest casue um :x we can do it and scouts cant xD the deaggro trick works for stone edge as well but they cant take off the stun in time to doit right so we have the ability to make it work easyer with unarrest also it helps to deaggro it cause the mob usualy runs a way a bit and if another aggro comes its best to get yer arrested mob out of the way just helps to single out mobs

It basically the same as what you said.. The mob will move away with those technique.. If you have the time in the world, it is better to heal your self, recast magic shield and concentration before you kill them.. or if you dont have much time to unarrest, use the technique..

Arrest has long skill cooldown of 60s and 20s stopping cooldown while Stone Edge has 18s stopping cooldown and less 30s skill cooldown.. Unarrest is just some extra skill to unlock the mob if you require to do so.. If you don't have the time, those technique works best..

Personally I just leave Unarrest in my 3rd, unused hotkey bar (along with Mind Buster for poking xD) and unarrest after I poke... I always cast Magic Shield between mobs anyway, and Concentration is useless to me. >.< And I never time it right if I try to poke right before Arrest ends. ._.
But who am I to talk about it, I'm just 81. lol That's something nice to add to my guide though. :D *changes guide*

LOL, your opinion matters.. The point is this is another method to nullify the mob if you don't want to be dependent on unarrest.. Not many players knew about this, so this will help them in some situation..
