Hold onto your FW for gawd sake

Just cause theres a glitch right now, and people are farming massively, doesnt mean that it wont be fixed in the near future. It was accidental you know? The item will still be worth some kron when its fixed and the flood dies down. I almost guaruntee that in a month or two everyone will be like "ZOMG i need FW soo bad!!" and there will be none to be had.
The smart ones are sitting on their stash i bet and will make BAAANK from it later on.

Just saying- besides having aton of FW never hurt anyone, what if it gets cold? Then whatr you gonna do? Have to BUY FW cause you didnt farm any while u had the chance.
Plus no matter what getting 50 of something isnt always that easy, except right now. In the end it will make that pet step just a bit easier, and eventually you will prolly be able to trade them for SSFs again.

Also you could look super magnanimous if you have some friends that dont check forums or play a lot, and you just throw them 50 FW cause you can. They wouldnt know the difference, and they will prolly love you longtime.

with the amount of grief this game gives me from time to time i will gladly and extensively take advantage of ANY bug or glitch i can, thats why this is BETA TESTING. Closed or open its all about finding gltiches and bugs.

Anyway, besides all that, ive had the MOST fun Farming FW lately that ive had in-game in sooo long-
Theres often so little you can do to be gratified quickly with SoS and I've NEVER seen anything drop so often or so easily. Its fun ya know?

wa.. Its so freaking hard to plan ahead right now. At the moment, I don't think anyone can really say if the price will go back to normal, stay low for months, how much demand might drop or rise, w/e. This whole issue could completely change after tommorows patch :x

I heard about the glitch and I went killing the toad melter, big kubby and giant poyo poyo to get firewoods, tangerine and butter.. A scout came and took a screen shot of my act killing those mobs and he/she said I will be banned due to that act.. He/she said it is against ToS as below:

I won't pay anything for that.. If you were there, i'm sure you are doing the same.. Like I said before, I have sent a pm to GMs and i'm sure they will inform me regarding my act.. I believe many player did and do the same thing and I shouldn't be the only to be blamed just because I am high level, I killed many people, I am StrongHold or whatever.. In fact your comment above is threatening me and it is against ToS as well..

The potential to obtain these items came with and is established with the quest patches they inplemented in the previous update. Because of this, we cannot definatively say what would be exploitive or not...At least until a GM or other official explicitly addresses it as a bug.

I've only heard that outspark is looking into the matter; I have yet to see a thread or post stating that using the items for reasons other than completing the quest is a nono.
I have also heard that they will change the quests with todays maintanence, but is that just an assumption or am I missing something? :x

Honestly considering the same thing has been happening with other quests too, I don't think this may be a bug at all. Unless you're taking into account the drop-rate, since the fws do drop like crazy now.

I have PM'd CSR Joker about this days ago, told him i was doing it, and wasnt told to cease and desist.

This ISNT our fault. We like to farm- I mean if I wanted to farm FW for a pet quest, or even farm Fairy spheres for PvP(cause they weigh 3 not 7) OR farm aloe- Bothe FS, AND ALOE drop from toadmelters too btw- then suddenly im exploiting a glitch- cause they made FW drop there on accident?

No Frickin way.

haha i myself wouldnt mind the wipe XP since i dont really have any uber high lvl characters and havent spent tons of money, just a little. lol. but i can certainly see why it'd be a huge dissapointment for a lot of players who have put a lot of time into their characters and lots of money too .____. and ive worked hard on my pet! D: rofl nvm i'd mind the char wipe. i like my kitty =3 and ive worked hard for all the kron i have! even though its nothing compared to a lot of ppl. rofl.

Ah man, I actually came to enjoy the better chances of getting better healing items such as the butter, salt, and juice (from the tangerines which dropped much easier). Not to sell, but actually use for healing purposes. 95-100 healing for 1 wt cost, or 500 healing with 5 wt cost is win for the sc potless.

Not to mention its a fun way to kill some time when your party member(s) go afk and you don't want to completely leave. Gone for a bit? Off to waste some Giant Poyo Poyos! Come here Big Kubby, I need to make some juice! Hahaha.

On the side note, why should the Pet Quest appear so daunting for players? This newer method actually encouraged more players to try the pet quest (although hearing its glitched atm to start). Meaning more chances for people to hatch pets and trade amongst them. This newer system will help kill those ridiculous scalping prices that held many players back from doing the quest.

well color me wrong about the change, but it was still fun farming for the last few days....Anyway I do think this is kind of a bad move, since now the FW step is pretty easy- I know, Why not just increaase drop rate on EVERYTHING! ruin the economy even more, thats a good idea.

The whole reason a pet was so cool was because it was supposed to take a long time to get, and NOT be an easy quest.
Like we need to dumb down the early game even more. Sheesh what a bonehead move.

It could be that they are just leaving it alone since everyone already has their huge stashes and they are unable to revert the firewood. "the change was intentional and helps economy" or w/e is a convenient way to turn a mistake into a positive ahaha.
It doesn't help the economy to keep the drop rate as it is, but it does mean that it is much harder to make money off of farming. I guess it will help in the long run since the masses that took the opportunity to gather hundreds of firewood won't be able to generate millions upon millions in false profit! (me included xD)

I completely agree with this statement. Yeah but it was still a fun distraction farming, who cares, i just wish the pet quest wasnt dumbed down by like 5 million krons. I like it to be hard and expensive so not everyone can have one.

In xenepic you have to enhance your through a very difficult progress and the result is a random skill with a random skill level from 1 to 7 (you cannot level up the skill).

Unless the unforeseen presents itself, there will be a huge craze to generate more pets for enhancement hehe.

My responds was with yet again a yellow egg is that your all greedy and im just warning players not to get rippedoff "oh i need kron i cant sell it now" then your just being greedy, farm it youself others can to. Stop your wining. Stop ripping off!

As responds to that i get pms that ill be the most hated person in xen for trying to kill there greed. I beg to differ.
