Help plz...

I just bought "perfect red eyes" (grade 2), but i dont know how to put it to work. I right clicked on it, but still there, and keep breaking my weapon. Can anyone tell me how to use it, or how it works plz?

When you go to Smith to enhance your weap, there is a box that pops up and you put your weap in the middle. now, there are 3 boxes near the bottom of that box, which is where you place your red eyes/blue miles/gold nines. Make sure that your red eye is in the box before you enhance.

First, you need to move them from your SC inventory page into your character inventory. To do that, click on them in the SC inventory page (if you pick it up, you used the wrong mouse button, put them down and use the other one).
This will move the item from your SC page -which is shared- into that character's inventory (sometimes there is a confirmation message that is given), allowing it to be used by that character (and only that character...if you drop them they are destroyed, and they cannot be stored to move between alts).





Having them in your inventory is not enough, though. If you refine an item with Red eyes in your inventory, the game assumes you did not mean to use your red eyes -your item may still break and your red eyes will not be used. You need to move the red eyes from your inventory into the appropriate box for the red eyes to be used (red eyes and blue mile only prevent breaking and downgrading, your refining attempt may still fail).


From your character's inventory, you can click on them when in the refining screen to move them into the appropriate refining boxes (red for red eyes, gold for gold nine, blue for blue mile)


Also, similar to when placing stones, be sure to only place 1 red eyes in red box on the lower section of the refining screen -if you place 2 or more the refinement will not start.

I wanted to upgrade my weapon, so do u know which is best for me to use to upgrade my weapon? red eyes or what?

If you are using greens, Red Eyes prevent the weapon from breaking if your attempt fails; so these are the must-have. If you are using NPC weapons (under levcel 20), and don't mind breaking, you don't need either (after 20, they start getting pricey, though).

Blue Mile Prevent downgrading in failures, but the item may still break (chances of breaking go up with level -a +8 is more likely to break than a +4) if you don't use a Red Eyes as well

From a standpoint of stones and IRL cash, both Red Eyes and Blue Mile would be needed, as the chance of being successful also seems to decrease with refinement level. Only using Red Eyes would keep your item from breaking, but it would downgrade if (or rather, when) you fail, causing you to need more refining attempts (and thus, more stones and more Red Eyes).


Gold Nine is supposed to increase your success rate by 15%...but there are still some questions on the forums that have been left unanswered that, depending on the answer, would make use of Gold Nine economically unsound. They are not needed, but some players like to use them (chicken soup, perhaps).
