Alright.
What i want to post here is based at my recent observations what is going on in SeG at route from CP to Uruga <and back>.
Not so long ago i do there Coll claw quest and i was three times almoust overrun by trains<colls, harkans, ogres> created by people who use movers to get to second gate.
I personally whitstand them but i known that not all have such luck at this same situation.
Let me ask then very simple question.
Should be forbidden usage of movers at this route?
I realize that i demand impossible but i grow tired to do my quests and be constant vigilant if someone who just decide to use that route to cut his/her way to Uru not drag at my back colls army...
I known that most people tend to use this route to shorten thier way to Uru and avoid templars at route to DP I but for a Teva's sake be mindfull that gather behind your mover train can kill people who do quests in this area <not always is someone there but still this does not relive all who pass that area to be cautious>.
I myself can now dealt solo whit almoust all mobs there and deva can bought me in off time to dealt whit group of mobs,<so i pass this route at my own feets> but not all have such luxury.
That route is not that long to use mover and i am more as sure that +40 and higher can easy dealt whit resident mobs there.
Please let me known you opinion about that situation and any suggestions if there is any solution to end trains issue there...

Trains are part of the game. If you disable movers in that area it would be a huge waste of time for any high level player. If you see a train coming GTFO of the way.

Easy to say "move from thier way..." but if they catch you in the middle of the cannion without escape point?
I am not talking about high levels who does not aggro< do not tell me that +70 still aggro colls or harkans> but i speak about people in my level border <+40 till +60>.
And about bolded by me sentence... forgive me but is this excuse for not to be cautious but mount mover and move without paying attention if i not wipe out by train at my route couple of players just because i do not want to "waste huge amount of time"?
Frankly similar problem is whit trains at Uru stairs because people tend to cut thier route to city and go in the middle of the area occupied by orcs when if they will follow direct route they will avoid spawn areas and safe reach city <what is lot more easy after recent mobs relocation.>
All i ask is to be more mindfull when comes to ride throught SeG area.

Edit: Please do not joke here

That's why I would never solo at low lvl at that area, unless with high lvl friends.
Training is bad, but people want the short way.
That place is not safe to grind ^^

I usually try to move around the aggro field for mobs, I hardly ever get trains...if only other people would do the same.

but that road is like crowed with mobs O= you'll most likely get followed at 1 point

If there is a mob that's unavoidable it meets the cold, hard wrath of my hammer.

"if you're gonna play on the road, be wary of the cars."

if you know that it's a main thoroughfare, why do people continue to grind there and get upset about getting trained? (personally, i'm like el above and wipe out the trains if possible, or warn others that they are coming) in SEG you can easily quest off of the Colls on the other side of the hill (near the lightning vivis & vamp. bats) all the way down to where the harkans and ogres spawn (if u don't mind the elder coll with his irritating slow debuff).

penalizing an entire map for one section of roadway isn't a reasonable solution.

Mm Ive gone through SEG both on my high lvl no-aggro char, a lower-lvl aggro char (but high enough it doesnt hurt on mover), and my "OH SH- RUN AWAY!" char.
D: I hate the trains there, but you have to admit: Dark passage is INSANELY boring and long, not to mention the mobs there are more annoying than in seg. So ppl rather use SEG.

Maybe if CP was more organized in mobs like SEG is, more people would use CP to train instead of SEG. And if CP werent so laggy (ive no idea why its so laggy, but seg isnt, and cp is).

I usually move out the way. Now its geting to where these trains actually bring me mobs i need but cant really walk to at the time, so I kinda like it.
Although..
When I go afk for a sec to heal up..
in shroom..
its kinda annoying to have to use a pot and fight instead of sit in my shroom for a few seconds.

I realize that bann of movers there is not an option<however not impossible what show dungeon areas where you cannot summon mover>.
People tend to grind where spawn points are close so monsters spawn in relative short period time and i think nothing will change that habbit.
Like i post early, for me handling three or four colls are not so serious problem as for example a mage <squishe :o>.
And i realize that elderly coll spawn point is at those road when i have him at my back when i fight whit two "returned" from just passed train colls...
I must say that Gate CP/SeG can sometimes turn in dead trap from people entering CP from SeG because sometimes at second side of the gate are waiting a "welcoming comity" <similar to Eldy/FoM gate at old days>.
I see now that this is acually situation without solution, unless people start to warn others or OS turn mobs stance in SeG to neutral and eliminate aggro fields from them...<but do we really should turn all mobs in Fiesta at sheeps waiting to be killed?>.

another option would be to remove the mobs from that road completely. i do not agree with that though, it's just an option to be heard.

personally, i like it how it is. leave it and just be aware of your surroundings and choose wisely your area to grind.

I am also against another mobs relocation and you are correct...
if you cannot handle mobs there do what one of the mobs suggested <i cannot recall witch> "Go, level more and then comeback" :D
Then i leave this thread open for a while <but i doubt if we can find any good solution for that area> so feel free to post here any comments about this and i will ask any CLs to close this thread to prevent any future necroing if there will be no more posts in 8 hours period of time.

It sucks to say the least, I would love it if the gates would not let you through unless you had absolutely no monsters agrooed to you so you get to deal with you train or be killed by it, that will never be implemented though. The thing is, if people complain about this a lot all they'll do it strip all the monsters off the road people use to get form cp to uru and a lot of users use those monsters for quests and lvling so it would end with more people complaining about there being even less monsters around. If a gate is put in to let you travel from towns to Uru then everyone in uru will gripe and moan about the even larger influx of noobs shouting for pwlvling and what not its really a no win situation here :/
I saw someone train to cp gate form uru and dump a load of harkens on an archer, being on my cleric i buffed and thew a heal at the person till they started fighting the mob and seemed to do ok. Its annoying to knwo people do this all the time, in too much of a rush to care about others well being.
off topic
fatallace: is there gonna be any more fiesta magazine issues?
