First off... hiyo! I'm Jlyons. I also go by Jly, J, Tex, and an assortment of other nicknames which shall not be made public. ;)

Anywho, a brief synopsis of who I am and why exactly I'm here:
I'm the co-leader of an established Flyff guild called Meow. With recent... changes over there, we're all looking for a new place to call home. After a brief glance at this game, both myself and another high ranking guild member, Nerria, have decided we want to give this game a look. If we like it, we're bringing up to 50 members over here. Now, if only we could find a cat herder...

As for me, I'm a proud member of Over-competitive Gamers Anonymous (which I totally made up on the spot, for reasons I'm not sure I quite understand). I'm a mostly laid-back gamer now though, but that doesn't mean I can't take things seriously when I want to. My online gaming history includes Flyff, Guild Wars, Diablo 1, 2, and LoD, Counterstrike, and Unreal Tournament, while my offline gaming history... well, let's just say, it dates back to the Atari 2600, and we'll leave it at that, shall we? :p

Anyway, I definitely like the first impressions of both the site and the GMs. Nerria and I both like the potential of this game as well. Here's hoping for the long-term success of this game and the future home for my guild. :)

I suggest taking a look at the Class Discussions in order to get an idea of what you want to do in this game. Definatly expect lots of grindfiestas in this game since leveling is quite hard imho.

Take some time to ask questions and learn more about dedicating to one class.

However, guilds are incredibly expensive, I think. But if your group are devoted, I bet you could farm the money in a matter of days, if you are bringing 50+ people, hehe.

We've already taken a look at the site descriptions and some of the forum discussions regarding builds, and we both have a basic understanding of where we want to go in this game, both for the short-term and if/when the rest of our guild joins us.

We've already joined the Apoline server as of the moment we joined. :P
As far as the guild cost goes, that won't be a problem if we bring everyone over. We've got a few hardcore grinders and some other willing grinders in the guild, so if they all come, I think we can handle that. :)
