It increases drop rate. So more things drop! The chances of armor/weapon/quest items is still the same but since you have more drops you have a bigger chance to encounter them per monster.

14. Hunter's War Rant (+50%): This item increases the drop rate of items off monsters/harvests/mining/chests by 50% ie if you average 2-3 items off killing a mob in abyss, it will increase to 3-5 items per kill.
-Can you use King's Touch with Hunter's War Rant? Yes.
-Does that mean that combining Hunter's War Rant and King's Touch mean I will get increase drop rate off monsters/harvests/mining/chests by 150%? No, I will explain why on the next question below.
-Does Hunter's War Rant increase the drop rate of items from Kingdom Quest chests? No Hunter's War Rant only affect drop rates from killing monsters, harvesting a herb/wood, mining an ore, and maybe opening a random chest you find on a world map. The Kingdom quest chests comes with a preset number of materials which is not affected by Hunter's War Rant, for example the 50 materials I would receive from King Kong Phino Kingdom Quest never turned into 75 materials when I opened the chests with war rant.
-Does Hunter's War Rant stack with GM/Event/Weekend/Holiday drops bonuses example 35% holiday drop bonus + Rant 50% = 85%? Yes.

With the war rant it will become 15%
