So I know they're working on a lot of items and such but out of curiosity, what else would be worked on in it?

I know payment security is going to be the biggest priority. Payment methods? PayPal? Credit Card? Bank Card?

Wonder if they'll do temporary experience booster stuff like in other games? Like silver being 3 hours a day, gold being 5 hours a day, etc.

Oalka, the main purpose of a cash shop is so people can fund a free game while still getting really cool stuff out of it. That way, both sides of the group win.

Uhhhhh.....
You can earn things in the game.
The cash shop is for customizing you character and not necessarily for buffs.
They have things like clothing, hairstyles, jewelery, pets, and different kinds of stuff so that the characters don't all look like clones.
There may be some buff items I didn't see much of that last time.
This is a free to play game and that is how they intend to make their money.

It's not lame at all. Lots of online games do this. While it gets you nice and cool things, you're also helping the site run.

Like Gaia, when you buy monthly collectibles, you're also helping them keep the site running. And like Maple Story, the Cash Shop there is doing the same exact thing.

It's just an option though, no one is making you pay for anything. ^_^

Well as long as they never make the 'you must have this piece of gear' type-stuff cash shop-only, I guess that's fine. I'd rather pay a monthly fee than have to buy my gear one piece at a time.

Not to worry. Think of the Cash Shop not as a requirement, but a luxury. It's more along the lines of buying something that gives you benefits for a period of time if you want such. You'll still be able to go as far as you want in the game without purchasing a thing in the shop. For me, I plan to purchase a few goodies. I love the items they showed us in CB2.

As long as we will be able to buy the items from other people, haha. Like the donation items at Gaia. People make their money by buying/selling. x)
I wouldn't buy items from a cash shop in any game. ^^'

Question for those who've played with Cash Shops in other games, what is the usual rate of $ to the game cash that allows you to purchase stuff? I mean how much has it been on average to purchase something is what I guess I'm asking?

Example: $3 RL to buy some SP/HP booster potions (like was being tested in CB2).
