Suggestions.

This is NOT meant as a flamethread or anything of the sort so if it seems like it apologise right now. Just bear with me please in this.

In the last several weeks one guild on Epith has been warring alot. They don't war different guilds but always the same ones. Several times a day! Most people of my old guild, including myself, have already left Fiesta because of it. Getting warred by the same guild several times a day getting spawn, shroom and shopkilled the entire time is NO fun. We left together as a guild to another game because of it. We are having fun again and the drama we had because of the wars by that one guild? It is gone! Now today I get contacted in msn being told that another guild now broke up with several members leaving the game because of the wars by the same guild as we already had the problem with. When I asked why they didn't just report instead of leaving? The answer: "What is the use?"

Like I said this is no flamethread so I would like to put some suggestions forth to stop this nonsense.

1. 100 members in a guild is too much! Most of the high lvls are bored with nothing to do or just having repeated quests which gets boring. Most people like pvp so they war but with 100 members per guild there aren't many ACTIVE guilds to war who are of the same or near the same lvl! Put the membercount down to 50.
2. Fix the Gordon KQ.
3. Make an option if you get warred to participate in it for the members in a guild. If they are afk and don't answer they automatically can't participate.
4. Have a separate map for wars so that the towns itself are the safezones they are supossed to be.
5. Add some more content for high lvls so that they aren't so bored... ie give us the T4 skills, an abyss, etc.
6. Maybe some kind of daily high lvls events for now even if it gets organised by players for example protect the noob.

These are just my two cents any other ideas? Put them forth. :)

why wasn't this guild reported? this would qualify as harrassment.

if it was reported, why didn't u guys follow up? if it's causing u guys this much distress, i would think someone would take the time to be the bulldog of the group and see it through.

i hate to see players leave, no matter what the server, especially since this was an avoidable cause.

I did report at the time and I know other members of my old guild did too. That other guild got warned and in the end couldn't war us at all anymore. Dakkon banned them from warring us or we warring them. But by then it was too late our old guild was breaking up already with people not wanting to join because of it and over 20 already having left most of whom just didn't want the drama. And then that other guild trying to make drama ingame and here on the forums too. Trying to attack us over them getting warned about it (that thread was closed in the end). The core of our old guild is still together just in a new game. I just think it is not right that a second guild broke up today because of it so thought bring it to attention here and at least try to put a few suggestions forth to maybe stop it. The guild which broke up today is an old guild which had alot of Legends of Isya in it. I know quite a few of them have left the game totally because of it.

Well at the risk of sounding like I'm taking their side, you all could have decided to make a non-warring guild and all switched over to it. I know this is like saying they control you or some such thing, but really it would have allowed you to continue playing Fiesta without all the warring. If after that they hunted down all the members of your guild and ksed/trained you or whatever then you could easily get them banned (or at least I would hope so).

Now with that aside, I agree that what they did was wrong (and I really hope it wasn't the guild I am thinking it might have been...) I also agree with your suggestions of a seperate area for guild wars, as it lags the towns unnecesarily, and the option to choose to participate or not would also be nice (though eliminating the need for non-warring guilds) I also agree limiting the number of wars per day, or at least per day against one guild, would be a good thing to prevent chain-warring (like maybe a maximum of three wars against a single guild in one day) Really I have no other ideas for GWs as I am not really a PvP person and really see no point in it.

In closing I am sad to see your guild go because of morons who don't know how to entertain themselves outside of annoying other people.

I know what you mean Atmor. We did and in most cases probably still like wars at times. But several times every day went to far. There was also ALOT of drama through the shroom, spawn and shopkilling. I know one guildie at the time logged into the game in Uruga just to get spawnkilled over and over till she logged out and went onto a noobmage. As she said at the time:"I can't even move before I am killed when I log in so why bother?" And she wasn't the only one. :( Including myself I know of 23 members of my old guild who just went into hiding on a noob everytime they warred. Others logged entirely or just left the guild. :(
Alot of lies, alot of dramamaking not only ingame but also here on the forums we just didn't have fun. Though we do now! ;) I just don't think it is right that yet another guild has closed and people like InstallWizard, MAGANDA, etc have now left because of it as well. I may not currently play this game but I may come back in the future. I will just be around here on the forums for now to see when new contents gets added and stuff. :)
At the rate it is going now on Epith the server will die out of highlvls soon. And though I don't currently play that doesn't men I don't care! Something needs to be done and even if I can only give suggestions that is better then nothing. I love the game itself and had alot of fun of here and still have alot of friends here I believe I just absolutely HATE drama! And I am not the only one so if there is a way to help the game as a whole...;)
New contents need to be added so the highlvls don't get bored so easily. That is what this thread is all about. Bored players make drama I have seen and/or heard about it over all the servers now. So give suggestions any idea may be usefull. :)

I'm curious as to why reporting them didn't work, had I been there I would've certainly added to the reports, I take screenies like crazy.

She came back because she got bannned from <name omitted> for trying to use the cash shop there and her money getting charged back. Though she did say if she can get her account there back she will play with us again. ;) As to the second guild who has now disbanded because ofit I don't think they even reported because in the end what happened to them was the same thing as happened to us. They feel like that guild got away with it and see no use in reporting. ><
