It has been a while since I've suggested something but wouldn't it be good if those PVP Points would give you the choice to either:
1) Exchange them for SC Items. (Each 50 points = 1 SC)
2) Exchange them for experience points. (You fight dont'cha?!)
3) Exchange them for buffs. (Like that guy that buffs you in Essene, stackable)
4) Exchange them for in-game items including Xen Stones!
So, what do you guys think..? Wouldn't it be cool?

I like the idea, but I forsee 20x -30x leveled players turning into angels at the hands of 100x leveled players...

Except under the current system that wouldn't give anyone any points.
Besides, it already seems to happen a lot anyway >_>

^ Yeah, if you kill lower levels you might lose points or not gain anything so it would be pretty balanced for that issue.

But wouldn't SC users dominate again? They could just go around killing around their own lvls and beat everyone there. Just my two cents. But yeah I like the whole idea.

yup it is a good idea, but the use of sc pots would have to be dealt with and archeers will have to be banned from pvp because they are so annoyingly hard to kill :p

I think that idea sounds awesome (even though I've never won against anyone is pvp). But the wins would have to be pretty high in order for that to work. I saw this Assasin dust blading newbs to death, and he probably racked up about 10 - 20 points in a couple of minutes. >_<

Ok after yesterday, I made conclusion on how to obtain win point..
I believe there is a percentage to gain one win point just like a level.. Each level gives different percentage.. That is why if you kill a very high level player, you can get two win points per kill.. The higher the level, the higher the %, thus if you kill around your level or higher, you gain 1 point straight and you will not get a point from killing low level, maybe unless you kill many of them..
As for lose point, you will get one lose point if you get killed.. One lose point per death..

Once you get 100%, you get 1 point.. Usually, you will get one point from killing within 10 levels between you and your opponent.. However, last time I killed Enix who is 4-5 levels behind me I didn't get a point.. Therefore, I made a conclusion that each level gives different % just like killing a mob.. Once you get 100%, you get one point.. Well, this is just my assumption..
As for prize for win point redemption idea, I think it is a great idea.. Maybe they will implement that later..

If I remember correctly, there was a post from a GM/CSR near the very start of the year(maybe someone with some spare time can dig up the reference), where they talked about future plans, and that they were planning to create a anytime accessable PvP arena, and also implement a character advantage based off the PvP point system. They also said that at that time that they implement this they will reset the PvP records.
That sounds interesting if it happens, as it will give more meaning to get points, however it is very old information, and I haven't heard anything more recently, so we do not know when/if it will actually come into frutition.

I think ppl will start abusing it by getting others to lose to them on purpose and rack up points.

Thats possible, but at least they work for it right? xD So I'd say that its the same thing, i mean if they implement a system like that the arenas will be too filled up for anyone to do something like that anyways

I think they already added that handicap. I was dueling with this aco who was about 10 levels below my aco, and I won. It gave me three points.
Since I was higher leveled, shouldn't I have received less points? But because I'm an aco, I receive more points?

No one would be safe from 100+,
Maybe if they made 1st class PvP 2Nd class PvP and so on
I'd like that, considering the commonly 2nd class+ Players PWNING 1st class.
EDIT: For scouts/Discs, Limits will be Level 66, Equal to the start of 2nd Class.

Kind of if those high leveled players fight versus other high leveled players, because they can't gain points by beating low leveled players unless they kill hundreds of them or something like FoGeR said. Keep in mind that to gain 50 points is a little rough for only 1 Spark cash, so it's a fair trade for the hard work on the time that you dedicate to the game, there must be a way for non-sparkcash users to gain some, right?

I soppose, considering the prices of all of the SparkCash Items. ;D It'd be a REAL challenge for ANYONE to rack up 100+.
But the Benefits for getting kill points is a GREAT idea. I'd like to see accessories, items and quest items available from that.

If a system like this gets implemented, i doubt they'll have time to kill each others since there will be a flood of players in the arena battling it out for sparkcash.

There's another problem too.
Acos can (not saying they will but...) revive and then kill the other person while they have only bout 20-50 hp.
