always dc from game when im in vendor mode

well just like my title..i always dc ONLY when im in vendor mode..feels strange @@ sometimes when im playing..i never get dc-ed..then when i went on vendor mode..i got disconnected from server after 5 mins (depends on my luck that day >.>) <jealous of ppl who can go afk 3 days in game w/o getting dc-ed> xD anyone can tell me whats wrong?O.O

This is abnormal.

Vendor mode does is not suppose to disconnect you. If that was true, then you'll see zero vendors in town or rest places.

Seriously though, you should ditch the Wireless connection and use a lan line.

O.O i did an update on it >< i get dc-ed if i dont move my character after a short period of time (20secs~1 minute) this is not my wireless problem..because normally,during gameplay..i just leave my character there and go on the forums for few mins...but now,when i leave my charac for awhile..it gets disconnected from the server..and my wireless connection is perfectly fine since i can browse on the forums @@ or wireless connections that r perfectly fine can make fiesta dc too?that doesnt make sense lol..never happened before..just happened these few days..

If you honestly want to troubleshoot it, you would try using a Lan line and see if the problem persists.

I use my retired warrior to vend (iLoveQ) and is using pumpkin house now...but the this dc thing doesnt only apply to vending..i get dc-ed when i dont move for 20+ secs...but i NEVER get dc-ed when i play...whats the problem D:

Behavior seems to fit was was described earlier.
On the wireless:
If idle, I will get DC-ed [just standing there]
In battle I usually do not get dc-ed.

However sometime in battle I would 'freeze' and when it unfreeze I get multiple hits from the monsters all at once [read in less than 5 secs] and I die :)

On my lan-line side [e.g. my wife] I did not hear about a disconnect yesterday. Will inquire further.

And DF,it started ever since i started playing Fiesta (July) which wasnt as bad back then (can idle for 5-6 hours) It started getting bad few days before maintenance (dc if i idle for 20+ secs) and now after maintenance,i dc after 5 mins.

Dude, that's not the problem too because I disabled AV(NOD32) and turned off my firewall (windows standard), I tried with uninstalling AV but same dcing =/.

I hope Silkypico responds to this and try to help again because that Maintenance didn't help us.

However, this will be a very nasty one to diagnose (the nightmare one for support people) as it does not reproduce easily (I really hate those).

So yesterday evening [around 17:00 EST] I took a bit of time to play with it.
I dc-ed only once at the beginning of my test [so idle only for maybe 60 sec or something] so I was quite happy (I will be happy if I can repro it consistently :))
Did not disconnect afterward, no matter how long I stayed idle :(.

The lan computer disconnected also during the morning. I asked my wife to note the times when available.

Not sure what may help. I can try to provide my IP addresses and occurrence time when I will get that in the future.

I did too trying to connect and stay logged at different times and I don't dc after 3am until 12pm Timezone:GMT+1 but other times of days im dcing like crazy.
CSR_Joker before wanted my IP and that i trace something I did that too and he says that I have excellent connection between my ISP and their servers and that I shouldn't experience any lagg or dc...but dc keeps coming =/.

Obviously something wrong with your router
If youre lazy just go into your router and put your computer in the DMZ (turns off router firewall for your computer) (I do this) makes you computer vulnerable blah blah but I'm smart and I know what to surf and what not to surf so Im not really in any danger.

then theres just port forwarding (I dont see why this would be the problem) but yea get someone to tell you the ports for fiesta and open them in the port forward settings of your router.

other problem could be how some routers time out or disconnect after the internet is not used after a certain amount and you can change that in the router settings too (but I doubt this is the problem cus you dc like what1 minute after? o-o) and your problems just started recently apparently..

On my side it is very possible my router is involved, as it is new and the first time I use wireless.

However, for others who have been using their wireless routers without any problems for several weeks (maybe even months) already and are only now having issues, coincidentally following outspark server migration [which I would bet also involved network changes], I would personnally be wary of placing the fault squarely on the routers...

Anyway, will be waiting for guidance from Silkypico.

Personnally I prefer much more a 'I don't know' than 'I think it is X' without any hard evidence of the possibility, unless we can have things to try to confirm/infirm the X in question.

I will keep collecting data as I can, and we will see if a pattern emerges.

Check in the device manager for your ethernet hardware... there may be a power saver option enabled. I'm trying this to see if it makes a difference.
