chatbox problems, GMs, GLs, someone plz help

i have 4 characters on the bijou server and three of the four of them have the chat box alright, and correct and default, but my archer seems to have problems with the chat box, it seems that my archer's chat box has partially disappeared, the front portion of the chat box, the one with the movement lock, and the start of the text box that appears when you press ENTER is not showing up such that i can not see what i am typing, unless it is so long that it would take 2 lines to show it on the chat box, and even then i can only see the last little potion of the first line of the message, it is really hard to talk to other people and therefore i am not being able to play the game, someone please fix it, my character's name is knightarrow

ESC>Game Settings>Reset Interface

This should put your chat box back where its supposed to be.

i dont know how to, the lock option is gone, i try to resize the chat box, and i can only change the length and width of the displayed end of the chatbox, which does not do anything to help. and even the starting of a message is not shown, as in if someone would say "hi, how are you?" i would not be able to seee teh message but if someone were to say, "hi , how are you? haven't seen you for a long time, been really looking forward to seeing you" i may see the part "looking forward to seeing you"

oh well ok, i see the route that you would like me to try, i'm a bit frustrated with this, there fore i just kinda wrote down my post of examples, wel i'll try the way as soon as the launcher and fiesta would set up thanks :)

well i tired the way tht Celetic told me, and it seems tohave worked, thanks Celetic, though from now on, my archer's chatbox is realy long as soon as i logg in, kind of a bother resizing it every time

Does the "reset interface" button in the Game Menu work?
Might just be your resolution as well. Maybe making the game resolution same size as your desktop rez would work?

Unless your PC's not strong enough to get it that high and run smoothly, in that case just do what you can to get it to work ^^

well on my PC, the game literally takes up the whole screen, wel anyways, the problem is resolved, though my archer's initial chat box length is longer than normal lol, but i can deal with that
