I'm just starting and I wondered what class I should be.Any suggestions?

It depends on your play style really. If you like to hunt and kill a lot of things, go with fighter. If you like to support and heal people, go with cleric. If you like long ranged kiting, go with archer or mage. If you like powerful spells, go with mage.

And so on. My suggestion is to think of how you've played RPGs and other MMORPGs and see what best suits you.

I would recommend you try them all out, as each account can have four characters on each server and it does not cost you anything.
