Hi.
I just need help on a simple thing.
I have the recommended Settings and a fast DSL connection, so it never lags much in the game for me.
But each 3 seconds when i'm playing, it everyone pauses their movements, and once it wears out, they suddenly move again and this repeats.
It looks like a freeze, and literally EVERYONE freezes in the game.
I want to know how to fix this problem?

That's a tough one to answer as many factors are involved. One is the server itself. Two is the sheer amount of people collected in a small area (Roumen....)
I know what you're going through because I have the same problem when I visit Roumen. The movement jerks a lot and there's a sever amount of pausing in spots there. It's very annoying (and mostly why I stay in Elderine, though it too is getting bad).
I have dual 512 Nvidias a mid to upper DSL connection and 2gigs RAM... so yah I would like to know more too.
What I've done to aleeve some of the issue is I've gone into the graphics options and turned off player names in order to reduce lag a little. It helps, but not as much as I'd like.

Nope. I have never defragged it ever since.

Yeah, i have done the same thing also, but it doesn't clean of the freeze as i thought it would.

Once you get out of Roumen you'll notice you'll see very little to none of the problems you're currently having while in town. That place is a lag-trap. LOL
