Resolutions isues (1440-900) ?

As many others have reported they are having problems with monitors that have 1440-900 as there native resolution. Question 1 will this resolution ever be supported ? Second I have not been able to change the resolution of this game to anything other than 1024-768. Where as my friend who also have a wide screen monitor with the same native resolution can change it to a few different wide screen resolutions. Why can't I.

What may be best for you is to try windowed mode and switch resolutions then.

I'm assuming you're trying from the graphics options menu to do this?

I have a monitor and i really would like to get 1440x900 but i can use 1280x768 widescreen and i don't have issues.
