why are most archers so whiney

most archers on this thread are always complaining about that they are underpower (as if they are) we arnt surposed to have a high of each stat were made to have a real balance for example archers are used for the fill in of the class u dont have in pty accept cleric

kiting:
like any other class can do it so apreciate it we dont need nova if we can handle running tons of mobs not hitting u and outrun the mob killing them at the same time

archer builds
people are saysing some archer builds are superior over otheres (prolly true with sc) archers u make to ur own sepcs no on elses it really anoys me to see people asking whats the best archer build well do what u like to it cause every stat helps (but int) unlike the other classes where there are onlt really cirtian paths u can take (bit boaring if u ask me)

skills

same as befor u build how u like if for mc its its the 1v1 skills and if its a dd (like mine) max ur aoes or hybred cd (cd on aoes and 1v1 kills not poisons though) and for a purest kiter its compleatly maxe all the runnable skills (pearcing shot and natures mist)

what might be coming up

as far as ive been told by people we get a buf skill like fighters that will double our dmg for a short amout of time so for the str users like me u can go to 2.2k-2.4k with a bow 0.0 thats epic and we get an aoe bleed thats going to make kiting really easy (or in my case aoe spam easy)

so there u go all the reasons to be an archer so stop complaining or dont be an archer simple

I played a Fighter for a while, and when I started playing my archer I was so much happier. I enjoy the game a lot more now that I'm playing an archer full time. I think people who are going to complain about being an archer just shouldn't play one. Obviously, if you're not having fun, maybe it's just not the class for you.

Every class finds something to whine about...and when its resolved...they move on to something new to whine about. Actually, that seems to be the population in general...Outspark fixes one complaint and the population moves on to a new one.

The Main Idea:
The archers are a ranged class with bows (and crossbows lvl20+,decide bow or xbow, check elderine for more info)to defend themselves.
Skills:
Archers have the least skills because they are the only class with the ability to do DOT(damage over time) with poison.A great AOE class though.;)
Advantages:
One of the most important advantages that are with an archer is the most Aim and Evasion.Also, a small advantage to being ranged.
Disadvantages:
The archers have a probobly unknown best build to the class. They also are to be predicted to be restricted to wearing leather armor.

By the way, for your information, i dont complain about the archer class.:eek:

Ya... about the kiting, we cant kite if theirs LAG D:<, and yes, we are underpowered.. only 2 new skills at lv 60, and a new one all the way over at 75..... and the fighter skill that decreases dex! COMON... COMMON... mages cast stifle, keeping u from using anything....and clerics, pff, no one can beat a 7x cleric....

So yes, their is a big reason for Archers to whine...

Never thought of it that way, your pretty wise to actauly realize that above the rest. It's true one is resolved then for no reason we fall onto another problem, i geuss it's how much impact that the problem has on the society.

Cleric(non-DD):

Cleric's wep is both faster and stronger than xbow.... wow!

As an archer the only thing I would complain about is that we have no defensive skills meant to PvP, Mages got fear, Fighters stunn and clerics.. err they heal themselves LOL, so... entanglement as Nyoro said, is all we can dream of.

exacly glad soemone understands this =) i really dont like it when people come on the archer section and say about us kiting and stuff if we lag we die and as for bleed and deseise if a cleric heals them or the person your fighting then what ><><><><>< >.<!!!!!! like really then we w8 for cooldown cast again and boom the cure again =/!

An archer is as strong as a fighter using a 1 hand w/o a shield. or actually weaker cos our def is lower. but if u look at it like, "ive made it to the same level as this fighter / mage" doesnt it give you a great sense of satisfaction? you who had a harder time leveling cos u wont get a party, while they are always partying among each other, SOLOED (duo sometime) the whole thing on your own. you guys just gotta look at it from a different angle

yes infact thats the only happy part i had reaching level 60 that and i completly owned my job change without failing once ^_^ my heros barly got touched either lol nature mist is basicly an archer only good skill since fury impact takes time to cast and has a 3sec halt before damage happens again

The archer's job change was by far the easiest I've done so far. Have yet to do the last one with fighter, though. But have two things to say:

People complain about things needing fixing, not simply to complain. If things were peachy, we wouldn't have to have the "my archer sucks because you made it so" or the "my damage sucks because you made mages too powerful" conversations. Both very common conversations everywhere.

While it's known that archer is the support damage class, and we can solo to beat all hell... it's easy to get angry when the only leveling you can do is on your own. Satisfactory at the time, but makes those who get bitter easily very bitter to know that they've HAD to do it on their own without the easy way out another class can take by getting a party. Do you know how hard it gets in the higher levels? How many millions you'll be forced to solo each level, and the next looking all the longer? I've seen people who loved playing their archer go from happy to bitter in just a few levels of this solo grind. It's extremely hard work, and those who are patient enough to do it deserve props and most know it. Archers are by far the most jaded as time goes on.

Though i dont have a lot of experience with playing as an Archer i will give a suggestion anyway. The Archers DEX stat should be changed so it adds damage but only for the Archer and it still will add aim and evasion. If that happened it would make the archer not so underpowered. But it might make them overpowered... or stop them from whining and make the other classes whine cuz they just got owned by an archer 10+ levels below them. Just a suggestion though :).
