Click Tools, Options, content, uncheck Enable Java and Enable JavaScript, click okay.

Just remember to enable Java when you surf other sites.

IE 8 ftw, if you got fire fox you can stop that easily;
Click tools > Options > Content > Uncheck Java script and java.

Simply Block the Ads Your edit your browsers system so they dont come up at all.
