I Have Been Playing Fiesta For 5 Days Now, And As An Experienced Gamer i Haven't Found A Lot To Complain About.......Until Level 20.
While The Quest Money Has Gotten Better, It Is Not Very Balanced With The High Prices Of Items For That Level, Considering That I Blew Up 4 Shields That Cost Me 4s Apiece While Trying To Refine Them, Now I Have No Money And Am Back To A Level 8 Shield Again, And Yes, The 4 Shields Blew Up Right In A Row, Needless To Say I'm Quite Angry, Now You Can All Say, "It Says There Is A Chance For The Item To Be Destroyed" Yes, I Understand That, But So Far I Have Had A Couple Experiences Where That Chance Has Been 100% To Blow Up Said Items, Many Times In A Row, Luckily Most Were Lower Level Items, With The Exception Of The 4 Level 20 Shields I Blew 16s On And Proceeded To Destroy Them, Each On The First Attempt, One Right After Another, I Am Not Too Happy About That.
Something Really Ought To Be Done About The Refining System, Most People Don't Have The Money To Spend On The Equipment, Considering That Most People Are Questing From 1-20, And The Quest Copper Just Doesn't Cut It At Those Levels, Again The Balance Of Quest Rewards To The Price Of Armor And Weapons Is Grossly Unbalanced. Again You Can Argue The Fact That There Are Trade Skills, And Again, Most People Are More Worried About Leveling Before Tackling Trade Skills, And Just Trying To Sell The Items Is An Ordeal In Itself, Having To Sit Still In One Place For Who Knows How Long, Sure You Could Leave The Game On While You Go Do Something Else, But I Want To Play The Game, That's The Whole Point Of Being A Beta Tester. With The Lack Of Some Sort Of Auction House And An Unbalanced In Game Economy, I See A Lot Of People Getting Frustrated And Giving Up, I Am Almost To That Point. OR You Will See A Lot Of People Starting To Buy Gold, Which Is Not Uncommon In Any Game, But It Will Destroy The In Game Economy.
The Easiest Solution To This Is Either Lower The Prices On The Items Or Increase The Quest Reward Copper, Either One Needs A Drastic Change.
Well That Is My 2 Cents Worth, I Hope My Pleas For A Balanced Economical System Don't Fall On Deaf Ears.

Oh And Don't Reply To This Post To Let Me Know I Am Capitalizing The First Letter Of Each Word, I Was Schooled In Proper English And It's How I Type, Sorry If It Bothers You.

If there are any mechanics in the game at all, I would think that the chance to blow up an item increases with each attempt.

I was attempting to refine a club to level 3, at first it took a few tries to get it past 2, then finally blew up. So I tried again. It blew up after the first try after +2. Then again, it blew up after I had refined it to 1, then the 4th attempt it blew up on the very first try.

And it doesn't have to be "Well those were my very very tries with that item!" Possibly, if you refined something else within the past XX time, that had to do with it.

Or it could simply be bad luck. ^^' I dunno.

I'm Guessing Bad Luck, Because, YES, It Was The First Attempt For Each, And They All Happend Right After Each Other, Why Did I Not Stop After The First One Or Two, You May Ask? Well Who Could Have Guessed That 4 Would Blow Up In A Row? Like I Said 100% Chance To Destroy My Items, Nice Job, Makes Me Want To Log Back On Right Now  (Sarcasm, I Won't Be Logging Back On For A While If Ever)

Its not 100% chance to blow up...

You can have a 99% chance of success and still destroy it every time, Its still RANDOM.

If you dont like losing your items from trying to refine them, Dont Do It! I hate the economy and have no money, But how the whole complaining about losing your money trying to refine something really angers me.

Omg, I tried 4 times and lost them all, Meh ish so stupid and mad! Get over it. Let me guess, You used Normal Elrue[1] stones? If you want to succeed more used Lucky or Blessed. Anyone who uses a normal elrue and complains about it failing needs to be shot...

Thats my 2 cents, Deal with it..

Apparently You Didn't Read My Post, And Your Ignorant Reply Is Nothing More Than That.

My Post Is About My In Game Experience So Far, And Having 4 Of My Very Overpriced Items Blow Up In A Row Was Part Of That Experience, I'm Sure I'm Not The Only One It's Happened Too. Let Me "Dumb It Down" For You: People Like Shiny / Glowy Weapons And Armor, If The Only Way To Get Said Effect On Said Armor / Weapons Risks Destroying Them, Especially With Such A High Destruction Rate, How Popular Do You Think The Game Will Be Among Serious Gamers ? Not Very. But If They Want To Keep It In The beta Stages That's Fine, But This Game Has Potential, And If You Had Read my Post That Was The Only Real Issue I Had With The Game, So Your 2 Cents Are Worth nothing Here, Thanks, GG

I Did Read Your Post And I Can Type Annoyingly Like This Too. Try To Insult Me, I Really Dont Care What Some Kid Says To Me Over The Internet. As I Said, If You Would Have Read My Post, You Should Not Use Normal Elrue. They Have A Lower Success Rate Then Lucky And Blessed Elrue. If You Use Normal Elrue You Deserve To Have Your Item Broken. Spend The Extra Money For Good Stones Instead Of Using Normal Ones That Break Your Items So Much.

Also If You Didnt Noticed The Money System Is Fairly Even With Your Level. You Will Find Higher Teir Items As You Level Up Giving You More Money. You Should Have Enough Money For Your Skills And Items That You DONT Waste. The People Vending All The Time Are Those That Are Actually Trying To Make Money In The Game, Not Just Complaining How They Cant. Money Is Easy To Make Here, You Just Need To Stop Being Ignorant To What You See In The Game And Understand How It Is Done.

Enough typing like that, So retarded....

I dont know what school you went to but none would teach you to type as such. It only makes it harder on the eyes of those reading the post. If you need money go kill stuff. At level 20+ you should be getting tier 2 drops from mobs those sell for at least 0 copper each. If you are having bad luck with one slot on refining try a new one. Or heaven forbid instead of making a generic wall of text you could ask how to improve your refining chances. DId you even read the beginners guide?

Well Sorry To Have Posted My Experience Here...On The General Forum Where I Thought I Could Post Without Being Scrutinized By Fuctards, What Was I Thinking?

Awwww, I feel so much remorse after you tried ot make a move for sympathy. Especially after you cussed at me. That is the best way I have ever see nto convince someone that they should be helpful and lend an open ear. If you wish to rant and rave join the other people with qounded pride. I personally have no desire to attempt to help someone who instead of listening to others and try to ask for advice decides to rant and rave about what is wrong.

I Never Asked For Your Help, And I'm Not Quite Sure of What You Were Trying To Say, most of it Is Incomprehensable. And I When Was it That I Was Looking For Sympathy? LOL, Awesome, Your Comeback Doesn't Even Have Anything To Do With Anything, GGKTHX
