Best way for a Mage to make money?

Ok so I'm having some money problems lately and I need to know this. xD
So what's the best way? Making another char to farm quest items to sell? Solo white/gray named maps? Or something else?

And by the way, I'd like to ask to not vote if you're lower than lv 50. :D

Pink mobs, all the way! Not too much pot burning, decent cash from books and gears that are for roughly your level, lower chance of death, decent EXP...Honestly, it's tough to make money as an app...

...and time spent farming could be time spent leveling up your soft-skinned, mob-braising spellcaster! Best to cash in on all the gears, especially the occasional 4AP and 6AP drop, and keep yourself in just enough potions to gain more than you spend. (A repot for my 5x app costs about 18 grand, and grinding pink mobs in Alicia generally leaves more cash in hand than it takes in pots.)

more gears and books and more chances to get ap drops
if not that, i say solo red mobs

There are many ways you could go about it.

The main kron saving scheme an Apprentice can use is: NO POT-SPAMMAGE! It may seem tough at first, with all the sitting; but once you get used to it, it's much more easier. Also watch the kron pile up.

Another thing is when you're really low on cash, go to drop rich maps which are easy to handle and solo there. (Eg: Cyoren, Shiao, Belt, Urail.)

Otherwise, making an alt to farm, is the easiest way to go.

Sadly I can't solo Cyoren/Shaio on my Mage xD (They run even if I beat them with my staff <.<)

Ok I guess I'll use my alts to farm stuff when I reach my goal. And let's hope I get a 6ap like people voted. lol

Based on my experience:

1) assist aoe helps to get more exp and loot while spending less pot

2) solo a lot and only party for aoe.. 6ap item or xen will eventually drop sooner or later.. Sell them all for cheap to get fast money.. You are low level, you don't need xen.. It's better to just buy enhanced gear..

3) I recommend to kill white to pink mobs rather than red or grey.. You need exp and good loot as well.. I personally NEVER SIT because it is a waste of time.. I'd rather kill for more exp, spend more pots and wait for 6ap or xen to drop.. If you have time, then sit is the best option to save money on pot..

4) Make a farmer.. If you have time and you don't chase for level or anything, I think this is the best one..

TIPS FOR FAST MONEY : Sell your 6ap, xen or whatever for cheap.. That's my way for fast money.. Had 150m+ but now broke after spending 100m+ on xens..:confused:
