As the title states,
I really feel that it will be great to have a gift system.
This may most likely increase CS sales as friends will want to send CS gifts
to their friends,
- not only for those who cannot get sparkcash [lesser ppl getting upset over not being able to get CS items],
- but also for those who can get SC.
[All in all, gifts to others may be meant for special occasions, it will be lovely <333333333]

I think it was planned for 2043 :p
Its a good idea and they should definetaly implement it so people can give me CS items. It is difficult though, cause of all the black market things that would go on.
For instance, you buy 20 pirate ships now. Wait for the pirate ships to go away again. And then start selling them for a profit cause the shop doesnt sell them anymore. You can make some serious money this way. Illegally.

But if it's a gift system... then there will be no money that changes hands, only goods.
So that person with the 20 ships would have to give them all away and not be able to take any money for them.
Unless you're talking about taking money some other way? o.O

In theory yes, only goods will be transfered. But you will be able to send the goods as 'gifts' after the targeted person sends you (real) money. The gift system wil make it easier to illegally make money like this.
Just thinking out negative ^_^

Yeah,
Then we can make it such tat they have to send out the gifts immediately after they have bought them.
In this way, CS buyers will not be able to keep them.
It is indeed true that players will trade in-game money for CS items.
However, this requires mutual trust between both parties.
Will you pass $$$ to someone you barely know/understand who claims he can get you CS items?
Probably not.
Even if it has been traded with real money, I am definitely aware that it is against the policies, it still remains a fact that more sales are being generated indirectly.
Just laying out my thoughts, may not be right though.
Do correct me if there is a need to.
Thanks. :D

I gotta agree with hemmes, they won't implement such a system as people will use it to make irl or in game money saying "will gift ____ for ____g/___$" etc, its a nice idea but there's plenty of evil people out there that would abuse it.

I wouldn't mind seeing it, its a good idea, but I could also see why they wouldn't do it.

Uhm? Youre talking about say.. me buying spark cash for my friend, and then having my friend still pay me.
Thats not a gift.
The only problem with a gift system, is that peoepl will do it in game. Theyll pay someone gold, to "gift" them sparkcash. Itll completely ruin the remaining economy. Its bad enough I hear pppl in eldy shouting hwo they bought gold or paid a site to charge them spark cash from third party sites (DONT DO IT!!! DO NOT BUY FROM 3RD PARTY SITES!!! Only use the sparkcash store IN fiesta, or IN the outspark website. Thats it)

Unfortunately, I can't see them using a gift system. Why? It would ruin the economy, and you'd have everybody in game running around who can't buy spark cash begging us players who do use it to gift them items "now" then if they don't get it they'll just continue to other players and make things worse will all the spark cash begging.
If they do implement a system like this trading spark cash for gold is more less like buying gold, which thereby is illegal if your trading money for money. If they do implement a gifting option it should be a max of 3-7 items per month standard. Although, a gifting system would be nice, it would be abused heavily. If it was implemented you'd get SC users but with pro's come the con's, which is why they may or may not have implemented any kind of gifting quota yet. I wouldn't mind seeing it though.

one question... if ppl have the money to give to other ppl why wouldn't they just buy SC and buy the item themselves?

Hmm... an old subject matter that have been talked discussed over half a dozen times since I started visting the forums a few months ago. The gift systems sounds good in theory but it would be prone to player abuse. Basically, there is already a viable option to give out cash out items as a gift, I will explain below and there is no need or very low priority for Outspark to request On Ons Soft to implement a gift system.
But try thinking a bit outside the box and instead of giving a specific Cash shop item to a friend because there already is a way to give friends access to cash shop items indirectly. Well this option is only possible to people who can visit Target stores in the US but, I have done this before for my Top Model contest by awarding sparkcash to the winners without revealing or exchanging any real life information which is against Outspark's privacy policy (Never ever exchange your real life info, account info if some stranger or even friend says they going to give you free sparkcash). The beauty of the prepaid card, or give a friend a prepaid credit card you may purchase from most chain stores like Duane Reade, etc, if you do not live in the US. It is that these cards have a specific secret code and by handing then instructions on how to reimburse the card so they may use it to purchase sparkcash. The only thing you really have to do is Private message them the information and the code, no revealing any real life information. Even if your friend lives in the middle of the Amazon forest, as long as he/she can access the internet they may reimburse the Target/prepaid credit card to get their sparkcash. I would not recommend revealing the information in game as sometimes people have a habit of mistelling and blurt out the information via shout, guild chat, say chat lol...

If this is applied...people can sell CS for ingame money..
If this is applied...people will scam people...
If this is applied...people(some) will whine...
If this is applied...there should be something following the "Gift system" to avoid scammers...
Ex: a brand new NPC!!! w0ot and sexy and hot Elf NPC who would do anthing u say!!! i mean "anything" nah nah jaykay.
a new NPC who would open a market...list of premium items people and the name of who is selling them...something like this
Name of the item-----------Price-------------End date----------Seller name----level
perfect red eyes[3](10)------3g----------------10/17---------ToniLiCiouS-------67
something like that, so we can SS who scams..

To people who say that it is a 'gift' system, so you cant pay for it......srsly! ""gift"" is only a word you put to it. Theres no way to confirm people gave it without getting something back for it!
For those who think people wont be stupid enough to pay people they dont know....why do you think there are bots who spam? cause it works...cause those people indeed exist...
Again: its a good idea, but there are too many evil/stupid people to implement it THIS way.

Yeah, convinced! :D
Well, then I supposed this "gift" system is kind of flawed.
And the best way is to legalise the trading/selling certain CS items
which I won't see it coming from Outspark.
Even if Outspark does consider this, it is pretty much too late.
However, I did come across a mmo called Dream of Mirrors Online [DOMO] which has this gaming policy.
They could have finalised their findings/analysis during its beta phase and found it to be in their interest. [Eg. Non-SC players are buying from SC
players ingame and SC-buyers are buying even more CS items.]
Pardon me, that I have no prove to back it but as far as I know from some players, they mentioned that it is functioning pretty well so far.
I am aware that different companies will adopt different gaming policy models. On mentioning the above eg, I am just interested in discussing some of the working mechanics to MMOs.
