PvP points! No one really knows how they are calculated for sure but we do know one thing: they do nothing but look pretty!
So how about we find something for these points to do! ;D
I propose that PvP points give us xp, something like 1% per point, since right now we really don't get anything out PvP for killing other players, even though it takes longer than killing monsters. Also, getting xp for kills would encourage players to take on people closer to their level rather than beating up on players that don't give them anything.
Plus the 100 points I have would give me a very valuable level >_>
So, share your ideas :3

But I can see some problems with that... The higher leveled people would go on mass killing sprees, even to the newby people who don't give them much xp. I know Sins have huuuge advanges when it comes to pvp, and I can imagine just... huge mass wipeout. Also, it would lower the fun of pvp a little, especially if there were a death penatly. I know a lot of people go to pvp to unwind, and just chill out, if it was made to get xp and stuff, it could take away some of the fun.
Res killing would also become more popular. When someone's revived (using normal revive) they normally have around 60 hp. In the higher levels, you can hit 60 easily. So an endless cycle of revive, kill, revive kill, ect ect.
Many of the higher levels have 200+ kills, and they've accumulated them over time, so that would give them, what, 10+ levels? I know personally I have 130 or so kills, and a little over 1000 points, and I find it unfair that I would just gain ten levels just like that. Especially since in the higher levels it takes so much time to get that simple 1%
I do like the idea though. Perhaps instead of making it 1%, to make it something like 1000 xp? I don't know the exact forumula, but I know that the quests mention things like that ^_^

u would just see 20 people go afk there
and a cleric revive killing them,
while a super high lvl aoeing all of them again and again and again
and get to lvl god-knows-what in 24 hours D=

But i think the PVP points are for the purpose of lvling your guild right? Its not implemented yet i know but in the later updates... it just sounds really connected
If PVP points were to be used for other purposes, uhh giving pet skills?

(And the killer pays xD )
I think the PvP zone isn't balanced enough to get something for the points at all.

I think i've suggested before any reward system comes from PvP,
There should be more division between the people allowed in PvP.
1st Class PvP (1-65)
2nd Class PvP (66-95)
And so on.
If there is no division, higher players will PWN lower level players without question.
This happens already WITHOUT the rewards system.

There seems to be a misconception about my original post.
I'm not saying to change HOW points are received, I'm saying give them something to do.
Right now players only get points if you get a kill, and you only get a kill if it's someone who's either stronger than you or no more than 5 levels below you (or something like that). You don't lose or gain points for a loss. I'm not saying "give uber high level players points for killing level 1 xenians!" Heck no, that'd be a horrible idea.
As to res-killing, I think that's a ToS violation. So someone who's constantly res-killing is probably getting a one-way ticket to jail (GM or CL or CSR or someone Outspark feel free to correct me >_> )
And anyone who AFK's in PvP is as silly as someone who AFK's in a map.
If PvP Points gave EXP I don't think it would change much except people would be more willing to go against people actually their level and less picking on people who are nowhere close.
Basically, think of it like a lair. All gain and no lose.

U get also a points if u kill some1 who is 30 lvls lower than u. I got some as i killed a lower one accidently ">_>

But I think if you have PvP points related to EXP ._.; that's just going to start a whole new rack of new problems. Maybe it won't be lvl 100+ against a lvl 30 trying to get points but maybe like lvl 6x against a 10x, not as bad but still. And a lot more people would start going to pvp for the simple purpose of lvling up.
It would be nice, but its a bad idea. Dx
Because people would abuse it to the max.
We already have enough PvP problems~

Exactly.
You'd get people teaming together to kill other people, aiming to lvl up. Or just my friends and I would all agree to kill eachother to lvl up.
It just wouldn't work. ._.

these i think are good making maybe a diff room for exp pvp maybe like quest the game can tell ur lvl and the screen will come up what pvp room
free pvp
party pvp
guild pvp
exp pvp / or cash shop( or buff pvp)
(for exp)and the pvp will have like lvl diff like with in like the lvl pvp how they had it for events
1-20
21-30 and so on wit no loss for exp if u die but maybe get a lil for come and trying

ummm yes they do help with guild. but uping skill would be nice to, they said when the points will be used 4 some thing "the points will be reset" -break

if ur rezed maybe have a cooldown where that player can't be attacked for about 5 minutes gives them if they don't want to be there to run to sz
or if they r friends close to lvl in turn giing the rez one time to kill the other

mixing exp with pvp seems to be a good way to generate ( even more ) uber grudges between players , and contribute to the community fallin ( even more ) appart .

Maybe they could change it so you lose points for a loss to prevent the "you kill me, I kill you" thing. o_O

but when they complete pvp and if they make a use for the points i think they should reset points b4 hand to make fair for the ppl that dont have a years worth of points xD

I completely agree with the whole reseting the points idea. Some ppl have had points from pvp for a long time and they would most likely uber lvl from this idea. I personally agree with earlier said posts that say the exp thing is a bad idea, but maybe making those points worth sc items? Or even sc itself. Now that would be something worth the time, in my opinion

i say like 50k a point to get xD when kron economy is better lolz or a xen each 20 points xD.
But no getting 1% exp would be very bad for having good relations in this game and all ppl would be then in PvP and kill each other. Would be a BIG BIG MESS.
But yes getting somehting from these points would be funny but like i said not something too valuable else we will suck the friends relations in this game too.

Like 50 gets you some pots, 100 points gets you a weapon/helmet/costume for 3 days, 300 points gets you weapon/helmet/Costume for 5 days and so on
But of course points would have to be able to be lossed when doing the exchange

You know how the quests say how much xp you get? Like for example the level 73 colbalt quest gives 1 million xp? (Sorry, only quest I could come up with)
What if the pvp points turned into something like that? 10 points = 100 points of exp? That way it'll be more balanced for all the players, so the the level 100+ people with 1000+ points, if they were to cash the points in, if said points were put into exp, would not be getting 10 levels, which are a lot harder to get than people say, 70+.
The problem I can see with that is that 100 points of exp at higher levels is almost worthless, and so either way people wouldn't be getting a lot of exp anyways... So maybe the pvp point into exp conversion plan could be done using levels? But that'd probably take a lot of time writing and putting into place, and would most likely have many bugs with it, not to mention slow down the other updates we are supposted to be getting soon.... Just an idea though.

i think the same. points could be exchangeable for prizes.. like 200points = 1 large hp/mp potion or something. its a much better idea than leaving them 2 look pretty..
