Possible measure 4 web spammers

It just came to my mind that IRC [internet relay chat] always has in-channel scripts to auto-ban a chat user if he/she/bot is flooding/spamming.

In this case for fiesta, if there is such a script, and someone is found to be spamming, they will be auto disconnected + auto-ban from game for some time eg. 30 min.

Is this feasible?
Will this be a good implementation?

The GLs are the ones who zap the bots. All you as a player can do is block them. But with bots, its like whack-a-mole.

It's a game where you basically have a mallet and there are holes in an arcade game where plastic moles come out, the object is to hit the moles with the mallet.

The point of the analogy is that you ban one and another takes his place, they just keep coming.

Well, it will be a whack a mole.
But if there is auto script, it saves the trouble
of GMs doing manual ban &
of players reporting/blocking spammers every now and then.

Hence, if a spammer relog in, and is found to be on repeated offences,
an auto ban/permanent deletion of account will be nice ? :confused:

Scripts for that fail, error, mixup, and in the end simply aren't worth it.
