Unanswered questions for a beginner Archer

Okay guys, I have wanted to try this game out for so long, but my graphic card wasnt able to handle it. I got a new desktop days a go and I wanted to try this game out for a long time so I thought I would give it a try.

I was pretty disappointed about the quests because they're kind of hard to get used to... I dont know if I am doing something wrong but correct me on this: Does the quest log actually show you the avilable quests? or do you have to talk to the npcs for them... Also, I bought the quest log book thingy from the general shop dude twice, but I cant even find it in my inventory.

Also, what are the default stats once you become a neophyte at lvl 16 without having to add the 1 point that you get? I am the type to have a perfect character in like most MMORPGS so help me on this :D

The xenian skills, can i not use those books and sell them? I see people buying them for like 1-2m.

When you become a neophyte and have to complete the priest quest, why is it called advancing to priest job quest.... I was pretty confused and thought I had a bug going on...

The quest list you can view by clicking on a icon in the bottom-right corner shows all the quests you're doing and the non-repeatable ones you completed. But if you mean the quest list that pops up when you lv, it just shows the quests you can do at that lv. You need to talk to right NPC to start the quest.
The quest book just makes the quest notice you get when you lv reappear. It doesn't show all the quest you can do.

And I think Xenian skill books are not tradable, and the shouts you see ("Buying Xen for 1 mil" for example) mean they're buying/selling Xen Stones, a rare item that can be used to enhance gears.
