Making a fan-Fic soon need advice

Hey Everyone
I'm going to be making a Power Rangers Ninja Storm Secret Of Solstice Fan-Fiction soon I need some advice about how the plot is going to take place any ideas?

heres an idea- Dont make one. First of all I have NO idea where the Power Rangers would fit in...im not even going to get into all the things that are wrong with that idea.

Second the continuity of what we know so far about the history of xen is broken and incomplete at best so dont expect any real "official" stuff to come together cause it wont really.

Anyway nothing against you, this is just something that myself and others have been trying to work out for months with little to no success.

dont get me wrong, do what you feel! if you feel like writing some then by all means write some!! Im just saying its kinda hard to write anything meaningful, at least for me here due to lack of historical or geographical information.

Im still trying to figure out where the power rangers fit into this too...

Mainly since SOS has alot of Fantasy and Sci-Fi and little bit of magic. Power Rangers and Fanstasy and Sci-Fic also that is why I think I can make a fan-Fic about it. The plot of it Might have to think about or do some more research on SOS

I say go ahead! Thraxk is correct with there being very little history of Xen, but I have seen some fan-fics. My guildie, Mariku, writes his own. Check out the Solstice Brigade in the Guild Forums. It seems we made up our own story line.

I guess since there is no history to Xen, you can write anything you like. Let your mind drift and take hold of anything you find interesting. ^^

ok ok i fixed the dang keyboard basically all i can say is go out straight pure fiction go beyond the physics of what solstice has heck in my fafic (it will be posteed very soon) Alastor even has kids thats right you heard me KIDS! it was boring with just walking around so i added in some sky bike things so make your own history of xen and ignore every bit of bad critisism anyone gives you that only makes you think more like them not yourself and its not the smae when someone else is basically writing the story for you >.<. other than that with the power ranger idea lets see uhh hmm either the Gm's would make good rangers or you could use the heros of xen people that were chosen for some unknown reason to me i believe it was Erien Davisf VampMelody Xanthe and FireSlinger aka notFire (im sure i spelled like half of these names wrong) but yeah use them as characters idk this is your story not mine it should be whatever you want it to be.

As long as canon hasn't be revealed yet, you pretty much have a lot of liberties for plot. So go ahead with it.

it's one thing not having any background to a world that you want to use to create a fan fiction, like thrakx said but having said that, the whole sci-fi, fantasy fiction genre has been more or less completely made up of it's own imagination, so long as you entice the reader to continue reading then i dont see a problem with tweaking a bit of the "official" history and background to making something up.

Ech....a power rangers ninja whatdasmudge sos fanfiction?!

that would be totally messed up lol. (not to mention messing up with people's minds :D) o_O

but since you've already started, i know it's too late to discourage you...

just try to stick to the original storyline as much as possible
remember to include some sos npcs to make it seem more real...like the architect can make weopens/giant robots for the rangers and stuff.....

I think that the power rangers should be the GMs that would be good.
