T5 Decomp Scroll?

Well I was in the abyss this evening and I dropped a learning scroll. But I wanted to ask some questions about it. It's a Decomposition scroll, and it's for High-Class Beast Leather. I wanted to make sure that this was indeed the t5 decomp skill, and I also wanted to ask what the worth of it would be. I could sell to npc for 11s so that right there tells me it should be worth a rather decent amount.

Everything up to Tier 4 Learning scrolls are out now - Tier 5 is not available ingame yet.

14000 3 Beast Leather Beast Leather (HQ) 10 7s 100c

It is a Tier 3 Recipe. The recipe is for turning Beast Leather High quality and decomping it DOWN. Not the opposite. HOpe this helps.

Oh ok, I guess I just misread the wiki. But why can I sell it for 11s if the buying price is 7s 100c?

They set the buying price which isn't the same as the NPC price. The decomp scrolls aren't going to be worth a lot since they drop often for players. You could just NPC it , or trying selling it for 100S or so; When i was grinding back at 4X I got them a lot.

That seems weird. Are you sure you are thinking of the right scroll? I checked the npc and the 7s 100c one is middle-class. In fact the npc doesn't even sell the one I got. Sorry, I'm totally clueless when it comes to comp/decomp stuff.

The recipe price is what you would buy it for, not what you'd sell it for to the NPC. That one that requires the HQ Beast Leather as I posted above is the correct variation. The learnign scroll means that you need that ingredient to decomp it into Beast Leather Normal Quality which is what HQ Beast leather would produce. As to Tier 5 it won't be out until next cap raise... (Around level 100 when you can use the stuff.)

The recepie is sold in Uruga to decompose HQ beast leather to MQ beast leather. Can't check the price at the moment due to maintance.

The decomp recipes have the end product name on them....believe me, I've checked. This one turns "mermaid scale" into "hq beast leather".

Yes, T5 comp/decomp recipes are falling in abysses. Many of the recipes falling are t2-t3 recipes that have been available at npc's for a long time. But every once in awhile, a T5 recipe does drop. So if you have any questions, ask someone who has alot of comp/decomp experience...you can pm me anytime.

The problem is, there will not be much demand for T5 decomp recipes, and even less demand for T5 comp recipes, since there are no T5 alchemy stones in the game yet.

What server are you on? I'm on Teva and have been buying the T5 comp recipes for 150s and the T5 decomp recipes for 250s each. You're not gonna get rich finding these, but they are worth something to a few ppl. :)

Completely agree :) A few days ago I was running around in Eld on Bijou and saw HQ Beast Leather decomposition scroll. It was just 100s, so I decided to buy and check it - and I learned T5 decomp skill, so don't NPC it ^^

Bah, I found one Mermaid Scale in CP1 a few weeks ago... someone told me it was useless, so I dropped it for inventory space... T_T should I have kept it? It was the first time I'd ever seen the item... o.o

one mermaid scale is not worth the loss of space to keep until T5 alchemy stones are available.

even then, I don't know how many hq beast leathers are produced from decomping it.

and hq beast leather seems to be one of our most abundant scroll mats available anyways :)

I would consider starting to save the other t4 mats such as: "summoned beast tooth" which turns into hq sbl......and ......"summoned beast head" which turns into high quality dogtooth(go figure that one out....LOL)

then just wait until T5 alchemy stones and those recipes hit the game

please make sure the description on the learning scroll that it will decompose materials into beast leather high quality.

for others who have replied, the learning scroll for decomp t5 is available even before the recent maintenance. i got mine and learned it, unfortunately alchemy stone is not yet available in game, pretty much useless at the moment. this learning scroll will enable you to decomp mermaid scale into beast leather high quality. i will post a screenie of proof.

Dont give a comment if u not so sure about something. U just making ppl confused. Thats real T5 decomp scroll, like what mredlodge said, coz i bought em for 200s and i did learnt it. Its help turning highest quality of beast leather to higher quality beast leasther. Ombre, I suggest if u wanna sell that recipe, it should around 200s~300s, coz it seems reasonable, since not many ppl black marketed it and no AS5 yet.

For the T5 drop's stuff, well, its kinda not worth if u keep em since no AS5 yet to decomp any, it is better to npc em. But if u have iron case, why not u save some, coz it will later comes handy, like what i am doing at this moment XP.

i have learned 3 t5 decomp skills so far want them all before t5 stones come out
