The Solstice Brigade Saga

Ok ok ive finally decided to post this the Solstice Brigade Saga but first a little rundown on what the heck this is. Well the Solstice Brigade Saga will consist of 5 books/ parts SB (abreviation for solstice Brigade)

1) SB: Prolouge
2) SB: Rise of the Brigade
3) SB: Tempest Dawn
4) SB 2150: Equinox Eclipse
5) SB ArchWorld: Requim of a Dying Goddess

Now these are character descriptions form our official forums so i didnt edit it cause i have so much to post any way the character (i know they arent very descriptive IM LAZY!)

Kage Ninja: A neophyte who one day dreams of becoming a rouge. Though inexperienced at first he will addapt to the position of the leader of the Solstice Brigade.

Starr: A human blessed by Jureah this allows her to change her form of combat at any given moment making her the ultimate tacticalist. She is also the leader of a group of those seeking revenge on alastor for driving them from there homes called Canard.

Mariku: Mariku is an archer who was the first to join the solstice brigade as a member. After first fighting alastor Mariku's body was infused with tempest an unknown matter that controls everything in differnt ways. Mariku will soon learn to control the power of tempest thus making him the only human tempest warrior.

Legiav: A squire that weilds a large sword to takes out his enemy before they even know they died. He tends to get lost alot but being his ability to tank against enemys he is a major part of the battlefield.

Judize: Mariku's child hood friend also an archer. He has made it his #1 priority to rescue Kanamii from Alastor even if it means killing his best of friends. He joins up with the Solstice Brigade hoping that it will bring him closer to Kanamii.

Marnista: Another blessed one and Mariku's younger sister. She has the power of telekinetic movement thus allowing her to fly and move objects with her mind. She bases most of her fight with 5 bows she is known to be incredible smart yet crafty.

Aveyond: A disciple who's entire live is based off revenge on those who killed his family. He is a member of Canard and is known to over do it...but who ever said over kill was a bad thing.

English Rose: Also known as Rose. She is the leader of Canard's elite squad Squad 1. She is an acoylte hoping to one day become a cleric. Her leadership skils are amazing and her tactics can turn the tides of hopless battles.

Deoxys: another member of squad 1 he is an apprentice who always makes sure he knows whats going on. He is useually found argueing with Light the other apprentice in squad one.

Light: The other apprentice in squad one. He tends to over look important details thus making him one quick to act. Again he is useally found arguing with Deoxys but if they didnt this dynamic duo wouldnt be as powerful as it is.

Belother: The co-leader of Canard and a rouge tends to look down on everyone and is basically focused on nothing but winning since he hates to lose this allows him to be agressice on the battle field and take out enemys with no mercey.

Sasori-Sama: The rouge of squad one for now he tends to be silent and secrative but we will find out more about him soon enough.

Alastor: The big bad guy bent on ruling xen he is your main villian in this book but dont worry ive made this character and interesting one through out the first 2 then he becomes the alastor we all know who is a terrible villian and becomes nothing but a sell out)

Maraine (however its spelled): Lol i havent revealed any thing about her yet. but soon

BlackHeart: One who betrayed xens forces to go over to the side of alastor. He kidnapped Adeline and destroyed Judize and Mariku's village. He is alastor main front line commander of the moment.

Thraxx (yeah i actually put you in here): The leader of a group of alastors followers known as NOTK not much is known about him yet.

Adeline: The Princess of xen all we know about her now is that she was kidnapped by alastor and has yet to be rescued.

From here to the end of rise of the brigade there are 2 character who still need to be introduced.

Anyway now about how the story works. I completly just changed the history of xen its completly fiction everything from sky bikes blazing making your sword turn into fire (i know fire blade does that dont judge me) wend blow arrows exlode on contact (it was boring the other way) new skills blessed ppl TEMPEST is a very big one youll find out more about that 3 new realms the Tempest Realm (Lost bryhilld) Equinox realm (Xen in the year 2150) and the God's Realm and stuff you know what just read youll find out one last thing though IM BAD AT GRAMMER I REALIZE THAT SO JUST DEAL WITH IT.

Chapter One begin

Mariku! Get Up1 It's 11:00 o'clock!" I felt a sudden sharp pain in my back. "Ow what did you do that for!" My sister Marista had just stabbed me in the back with one of the arrows in my room. "It's 11:00 o'clock you missed breakfast and im not harvesting the fields alone now get up." She poked me with the arrow again. "Ok fine fine im getting up jeez." "You want to join Xen's royal army with that attitude."

What did i care they practically accept anyone who wants to join the army nowadays. Besides i have 5 weeks till im old enough. We finished the harvest now was the worst part selling it. "Mariku i need you and your sister to go to Bryhilld and sell half of the harvest so we have the money." said my father. So my sister and i set off to the city.

After much walking and avoiding the slimes we finally arrvied in Bryhilld. I hated goin to the city, there we too many people here. I held on to Marista's hand so she wouldnt get lost till we arrived at our usual spot. While we were selling are goods one of the so called shoppers picked up one of the other merchants by the throat. "You still havent paid me back now it's time for you to pay." The Fighter threw him into the wall and took the bag of money from him nobody bothered with him they all knew they would easyly be killed in seconds.

We both finished sell the food we grew and were walking down one of the town allys. When all of the sudden the fighter we saw earlyer today and a group of not so freindly looking guys came out of no where. "Well well what do we have here a worthless Xenian and his little sister. You now why dont you give us all of your money and we wont kill one of you if you dont we kill both of you." What a stupid deal i wasent about to take any option. I looked around for any thing i could use there were a couple cans of paint resting on a pulley and a farmers sythe to my right. Perfect. With no hesatation i quickly grabbed the sythe and jumed on top of the fighter. Being quick to move i jumped off the fighters head up to the pully and cut the ropes holding it up.

The pully fell right on top of one of the guys while the cans of paint fell on top of the other guys head. I then brought down the sythe on the fighter and took off his arm. I quickly grabbed and hauled Marista on my back and began to run we just made it out of there.

Next Chapter: Good Bye Mariku

5 weeks later

I made sure that today i got up early. Today was the day i start a new life the life of an archer. My birthday was only yesterday making me old enough to finally join Xen's army. I was greeted my the rest of my family at the table. We had breakfast as usual and then i began to start packing my things. Then it was time to say goodbye to my family.

"You know son i never really noticed it before but your alot like your grand father if only you had ever met him." said my father "Now make sure you stay warm and no more getting into trouble with the wrong people." said my mother. I looked down to my sister i could see that she started crying. "Hey come on dont be like that. You know me and you have always been a team and when your ready you can join me and will still be a team. Ok?" said Mariku

"Ok and id like you to have this big bro." said Marista she handed me a small wrapped object and i put it in my back pack. "Well then I guess this is good bye" I then began to walk away from where i lived all my life. Then Marista ran up to one of the cliffs and yelled. "Just dont get yourself killed you stupid idiot!" I just smiled and took out the package from my bag and opened it. It was a wind symbol used by archers where did she get one of these. There was something in scribed on it. Dont let your enemy ditermine wether you win or lose let yourself make that dicesion. I closed the wind symbol in my hand and i felt a tear of my own run down the side of my face.

Next Chapter: No duh Mariku is lost

Bare with me on this chapter i wasent feeling to good.

How the heck did i get lost in this stupid forest. "Stupid map dosent tell you wich way is up or down and the compass on the map is broken it is supposed to tell which way is north but it always faces the direction im looking." Mariku clearly didnt know how to use a map. "Hey look there's a guard over there. Hey you know where that way goes." "Sorry sir you ct go that way espeacially some one ike you it's to dangerous that way." said the guard. "Whatever any way do you know how to get to Bryhilld from here." The guard pointed and thats the way i went... which led e straight off a cliff ouch. While laying on the ground in pain a Poyo approched me and it didnt look to happy.

"Nice Poyo i dont want any trouble." All the sudden the Poyo jumped right at me. "Run away get it off get it off!" It managed to lacth on to my head. "Get it off get it off ow ow ow!" I grabbed some food from my back pack and threw it the Poyo let go and ran afer the food while i ran the other way. I finally made it to the trisects i knew i could make it to Bryhilld from here i passed some other people clearing slimes from the area to keep helpless passerby from getting hurt. I then aprroched the gate o the city and then i entered. I finally made to bryhilld and this time i wanted to be there.

Next chapeter: An old friend with bad news.

"So i finally made it here now where do i go to register for the army?" I began walking around to see where i had to go i walked by some guy complaining to some lady about how how a neophyte has nothing to do with a rouge he was right but i figured i wouldnt worry about it. Any wasy i still couldn't find what i was looking for and then the last thing i needed ws to be confronted by that fighter from the last time i was here. "Well if it aint you again havent thanked yo from cutting off my arm the last time we met your just lucky my acoylte was there last time to put it back." said the fighter. Man this time im screwed but then another fighter this time only looking much stronger came up to us. "Whats going on here captain Black Heart hope your not starting any trouble here I hope" said the new fighter. "No sir Leuitenant no trouble here at all." said Black Heart as he walked away.

"So what do we have here." said the leuitenant. "My name is Mariku sir I'm trying to find where I go to register for Xen's army." I replied. "Well then I cant tell you where to go unless you tell what type of soldier your registering to be." said the leuitenant "I guess im trying to register as an archer." "Well then im sorry to say that your then going to have to go throught neophyte training." said the leuitenent. "WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO GO THROUGH NEOPHYTE TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!"

Neh stupid neophyte training why do i even bother with these people all they do is make it takes years to do any thing around here." I mumbled as i waited in line to turn in my application. "Next!" yelled the person handeling the paper work. I stepped up and handed the lady my paper work. "Ok Mar...kit...ty if would just sign here." said the secretary. "Uh it's Mariku." I said. "Now listen here Markitty whos the one with the pen?" said the secretary. I thought a moment "Uh you." "Who's the one with cerificate of secretary recognition?" They make those things "You i guess." "And lastley whose the one with the good looks?" Now I was getting annoyed "Neither of us." "Just wacth yourself Markitty I got my eye on you." I walked away trying not to think about it and before i knew it i was standing in front of a tall man that really seemed to like black armor.

"Get in line recruit...that means all of you scums bags!!!." There was no way i was goin to argue with this guy so I stepped into a line o other Xenians. "Ok recruits out of all you here came here to become a scout. Raise your hands!!" I and a couple other Xenians raised our hands. "Well then shame on you!!! Scouts are nothing but a bunch of long range whimps that cant take the heat of battle!!!" Man i already didnt like this guy. "Any way im guessing you want to know who I am? Well you may call me Kernal Raymond leader of the Assasians guild. Over these next few weeks you will starve, you will be hurt, you will work, and you will find out what it means to be engaged in war...PURE MADNESS!" Does this guy ever shut up hes giving me a headache.

Next Chapter:I'm not capable of using a dagger.

Lets type a little more shall we.

"Ok recruits do you knkow what this is?" Raymond held a dagger in front of my face like I was an idiot. "A dagger sir" I replied. "Thats right little birddy eyes its a dagger." Thats what he called all of the recruits who were enrolled to become scouts. "You see recruits this is what you will be using for the next couple days if your a birddy eyes and what you'll be using for ever if your a brave hearted Neophyte. Now iwant you all to fight this Neophyte over here and see what you can do...your first bird." he threw me the dagger. Ok lets see what i can do.

"Ok before any thing recruits I am going to show how to use the base skill of a neophyte Threaten. Demonstare on birdie here what threaten looks like." Threaten i could take simple words. Then all of the sudden with blinding the Neo took a huge slash out of me it hurt like hell. "Ok then thats treaten for you ok then you two begin." The Neophyte then quickly charged at me he slashed at me endlessly as i moved out of the way from the blow and cursing everytime he slashed. I then had the courage to actually slash at him but as i swung the blade slipped right out of my hand and then smacking the Neophyte square in the fore head (curse my natural born aim). Of course he lived though due to the local aco but...lets not do that agan.

Next chapter: Ho ho ho...Santa X shut the F%#$ up.

Man these last few days have been exhuasting. its been about two weeks im official a Neophyte now but that shouldnt last much longer Raymond says us bird will change when the time is right. But right now we were just waiting for a mission breifing. Then Raymond began to talk. "Ok recriuts its bout time we send you to the front line to fight the evil santa x." Did he just say santa...ok just play along. So they sent us away to this factory looked a little to colorful. When we walked in I was going to go mad.

All i heard was rudolph the red nose reindeer over and over again. Then we came up to some mobs actually alot holy crap! We were doing our best to fight them back but they just kept coming. I got to say though i got a little distracted whe there was this Neophyte wearing riendeer antlersruning away from a bunch of girls...oh yeah the fight. Any waye battle seemed endless the only reason i was still alive was that we Acos with us. Then i saw him actually 5 of them but this one was mine it was Santa X.

It was just me and him...him being alot bigger but that didnt mean i was scared. I charged at him with my butter knife stabbed him once he started bleeding on me ewwww. But he was stillup and moving. He smacked me in the head withhis bag of doom i lost my balence for a bit. Then he kicked me like the sissy he is but it still hurt. I finallly figured i out time to use blindside i struck him with the poison dagger and there he froze i seized the moment and slashed at him furiously and then it was over i killed Santa!!!!!! Oh yeah!!!! Then all of the sudden i felt stronger.. lazyer... more hungry then n my pocket there was a glow i pulled out the symbol of wind Marnista gave me then when held it with both hands i was surronded by light after what was secnds but felt like hous i was iffrnt and really green it finally happened. I was now a scout.

Next chapter: Mariku is going green.

I finnaly reached my dream i had finally became a scout. I looked down to find that my dagger had tranformed into a bow colored with red paint and my hat was now a little point of green on my head i looked at what my cloths had tranformed into. They were very green...to green...my god I need to go back home and get my personal threads. I then just remembered that I was standing in a psyco's fortress. I then saw a neophyte running away from of bunch of the ebil (yes ebil) monsters. Like it was second nature i drew an arrow from the quiver that appered on my back to aim the fired.

the arrow nailed the lolipop shaped fight in the head or what lookes like its head and i lie there slain. Figuring how well that went i decided to nock two arrows this time. I aimed again and fired the two arrows tore right thru the passing mobs. Then i heard a sound of a train there was a large train heading right for me. I thought of what to do then the words came right to me. Wind blow! The words rang right threw my head like i would know them for ever. Then with blinding speed i nocked an fired an arrow as it left the string the arrow grew white hot and struck the train with an explosion. The mob driving the train then lost controll and crashed right into a large group on monsters. As they retreated I saw one of the sants x's running away.

More words went thru my head ankle bind. I then once again nocked another arrow and fired only this time as the arrow came near my target the end burst out into a bunch of vines. The vines then wrapped aout the false sant's legs and he tripped to the ground. Hmm this skill is interesting i might use this on quite a bit. We did what was best and that was to take back the santa copy back to Raymond...which we did. Bu Yah!!!!!!

Next chapter: A Brigade and bad news

After that incident with the big red man, we dropped him off at HQ for interrogation. Since we did such a good job, they gave us a month of no training. I was free to do as I pleased which right now was to find something to do. I began walking around in Essene, but man I was tired. Then something caught the corner of my eye. There it was that guy that I previously saw running away from the girls chasing him but last time he had antlers. He was sitting at a table with a sign the said “Join the Solstice Brigade!” I went up to him scratch that I stumbled up to him and I told him that I was interested in joining. “So you want to join? Well the name’s Kage, I’ll just need to know your name.” said Kage. “My name is Mariku and that’s no Markitty or anything.”

“Ok Mar-ri-ku wait what did you say about Markitty?” said Kage. “Uh never mind.” We both shoke hands. “Ok ill contact you when we have more members which could take awhile at this rate.” Said Kage. Then as I walked away a messenger raven came to me with a message. Raymond wanted me back at the HQ as quick as I could. I then began running as fast as I could. I got to say ever since I became a scout Raymond seemed to use me a lot more and wasn’t such an *** hole anymore. Then in less than 5 minutes I arrived at HQ. “What is it sir?” I asked. “There you are Mariku. If my guards are correct you are acquainted with captain Blackheart correct?” Asked Raymond. “Yes sir he has quite a temper almost killed one time.” “Then it is true. Mariku you see Blackheart has turned over to the side of Alastor.” Said Raymond

“Wait Alastor who is that never heard of him.” “You see Mariku we keep our recruits with little knowledge of what they are fighting to prevent them from joining him since that is his talent to lure people to fight with him just for the wrong reasons.” Said Raymond “So Alastor has lured Blackheart to his side your making this sound a lot bigger than it really is.” “Well Mariku it is not just that Blackheart left. When Blackheart left he kidnapped the princess, our future queen Adeline.” Said Raymond “What?! How is that possible he might be strong but not that strong.” I replied. “Well see Mariku he was not alone he had back up and a lot of it. They call themselves the NOTK pure followers of Alastor there leader is a disciple named Thraxx.” “So what do we do about it?” I asked “Ok here’s what we are planning we need something to distract this NOTK and we have called upon to create something like them only the pure followers of Adeline. Word is you have already joined this group… you know the Solstice Brigade.” Said Raymond. “Ok but you still haven’t told me what I had to do.” I replied. “Well as of now we don’t want you to do anything the Solstice Brigade needs to get more members so just leave that to the leader of the group Kage.” Said Raymond. “Sir yes sir!”


Next chapter: A black scar caused by a Blackheart

This is where the month I didn’t play comes in so it’s pure fiction here for the next few chapters.

It’s been awhile since that meeting with Raymond and I haven’t heard any word of the Brigade being in motion. Guess they still need more members. I decided to walk around a bit then I saw something in the distance it looked like a cloud of smoke. As it came closer I was then able to pick out what it was it was Kage running away from more girls. I just ignored it since he would be smart enough to go invisible by now so I just walked the other way. I just didn’t see it coming the next thing I knew Kage was yelling at me to get out of the way. Me being as out of it as I usually am just said what. Then he passed me I looked the other way and saw a stampede heading right for me. Oh ****! Bam I just got whacked out of the town before I could do anything. As I flew through the air I was wondering why Kage just didn’t go invisible ah well ill land eventually. It took awhile but I finally fell into a tree and there I hung from my foot for awhile as I tried to regain my idea of just what happened.

Then I realized something this tree seemed to comfortable to be just any old tree. Hey this is the tree I would sleep in before I left home I must be near home. I guess I’ll go pay a visit to the town. As I got closer I was getting a little worried a lot of the trees were either cut down or torn apart this didn’t look good. Then all of the sudden to ninjas we named hatreds jumped out of the bushes they slashed at me as I easily dogged I pulled out my and knocked one arrow aimed and fired with perfect harmony it nailed the ninja right in the head. The other one wasn’t so happy about what I just did he charged at me with his saw disk the words shot thru my head again. Wind Blow!!! The arrow exploded on impact of the creature and he was gone. Then It came to me the town is in danger.

Then I started running as fast as I could towards home worried that something bad happened. When I got to the gate the town was in ruins and burning. There stood one of the other residents I asked him if he needed help. “Nah its ok I’m just making sure no more of those things come back.” Said the man. “Stop what from coming back?” I asked. “Those ninja’s they were being lead by someone who called himself Blackheart.” Said the man. “How many died?” I asked. “Well it looked like they were looking for something so no one was killed as far as I know.” He said “What about my family my name is Mariku is my family alright.” I asked. “You’re the farmers son oh my. Mariku I’m sorry to say that your parents are in intensive care right now as for your sister…she was taken away by those ninja’s who attacked us.” Said the man. Then I went to my house as fast as I could when I arrived the place was trashed. I found my dresser with my cloths I took out my black hoody which was A LOT less green this was much more comfortable. The Brigade had to wait I was going to go get my sister.

Next Chapter: But im gonna need some help

Ok so far all I know is that I have to go save Marnista. The only problem is that I don’t know where to find black heart and I’m going to need some help…but who the heck would help me in such a crazy plot to infiltrate probably one of the most guarded enemy outposts. Then it hit me I know just the 3 people crazy enough to help me. As fast as I could I began to make my way to Bryhilld as fast as I could. When I there I made my way to the dark alley behind the smiths shop. “They should be here wonder where they could be?” All of the sudden a shadow moved behind me when I turned to see it was already gone. Then I saw another move I began to wonder if something else moved in here something unfriendly. All the sudden 3 figures popped out of nowhere. “Hi Mariku!!!!” said the 3. They scared the crap out of me it was Haseo, Fred, and Oseanaru…my cousins.

“Well well Mariku you seem different I guess you joined the army at this point what exactly are you? You don’t look like any of the classes in the army.” Said Oseanaru I remembered that I changed to my black hoody to stay in hiding and keep any one from interfering. “Oh hey guys. Yeah I’m a scout.” I replied. It was quite clear to see what they were. Fred was an Acolyte, Haseo was an apprentice, and Oseanaru was a squire. “Yo cous what brings you to the crib here get lost again. Sorry man I’m just playin.” Said Haseo. That was Haseo for you can’t understand a word he says sometimes. “Look guys I need your help you see Marnista has been kidnapped and I need your help to safe her.” “Well then it depends really just who kidnapped her?” asked Fred. “The guy who kidnapped her his name is Blackheart.” I said. “You mean the guy who also kidnapped Adeline with that Thraxx guy. I don’t know dude. How do you know we can beat him.” Said Fred. “It doesn’t matter Fred Marnista needs our help and besides we don’t even have to fight him we just need to get Marnista. Ok Mariku we’ll help you.” Said Oseanaru. “Ok here’s what we need to do first things first we need to find out where this guy is.” I said. “How about that tower that we passed not too long ago he’s probably there we tried to see what it was but we couldn’t get in since it had a force field surrounding made by mages.” Said Oseanaru. “Then that’s where well go hopefully that is where Blackheart is hiding.” I said

Next Chapter: Recon and infiltration

Recon and Infiltration

We stood near the base of the dark tower there was a dark aura emitting from it and we could feel it from 500 meters away. It clearly wasn’t going to be easy to get into even for me there were ninja guards everywhere and we could take this either way storm the place which is the fun way or sneak through and find Marnista and get out. I figure we will sneak in about half way then storm through after that. We split up as Oseanaru and I and Fred with Haseo and circled the building when we suddenly came across two ninjas and if we moved at all they would see us I thought for a moment. Then both Oseanaru and I knew exactly what to do the words rang through my head “Falcons Eye” I felt the burning in sensation in my eye and I located the vital points I aimed and fired almost at the same time Oseanaru jumped out and slashed down the other ninja and both lay dead. We finally found an entrance it was an old cellar entrance we both climbed through as Fred and Haseo cleared out the areas ninjas now it was time to go full force into battle. We could hear the intruder horns blasting now it’s time to move. We both came out into a hall with 3 ninjas down each way this was going to be easy. Again as if we could talk with our minds we knew what to do Oseanaru took his sword and at the same time I cast ankle bind in the same direction. Once the ankle bind had activated vines sprayed out of the arrow Oseanaru cast blazing causing his blade to light up in flames as the vines touched the blade they flared up instantly throwing a ball of fire at the ninjas now there were three left. I took careful aim and quickly fired three arrows at the wall causing them to ricochet down the hall in the confusing the ninjas had no idea what was going on two of the arrows killed two ninjas left one alive and almost instantly Oseanaru thrust the blade straight into the last ninja.

We had to keep moving they never seemed to run out of ninjas around here we had to have had to take down at least 40 of them. After we reached a corner and met Fred and Haseo I told Oseanaru to go with the others as I would be fine from here I raced down the hall and came across not a ninja it was different it was some form of lizard almost like a Gila monster. It charged at me with lightning speed I quickly jumped over it turn and thrusted an arrow right into but its hard skin prevented me from making a wound then suddenly its tongue shot out of its mouth I quickly side stepped it and its tongue pierced right through the will and went right back into its mouth that gave me an idea. I nocked an arrow and waited for the right moment its tongue shot out right at me I realized the arrow and changed its direction as its tongue bounced and pierced into his fore head the poison killed it instantly. I reached the end of the wall where I saw a large door I touched it and it opened I walked into the dark room and the door closed behind me locked. “Humph well well what do we have here I guess Blackheart’s minions weren’t good enough typical.” The voice came from the shadows just hearing it gave me a sense of death. “Ok who the he** are you and where’s my sister.” I replied. “Your sister well she’s right here” said the dark voice. All the sudden a cage fell from there ceiling Marnista lay unconscious in the cage. “Ok you bas**** who the fu** are you let my sister go.” I demanded. “Who am I…….WHO AM I YOU ASK.” He emerged from the shadows just looking at his face almost drove me insane. “I AM ALASTOR YOUR FINAL DEMISE!!!.”

“You bas**** why are you doing this what are you trying to prove.” I asked. “I’m not trying to prove anything all I want is power and for all to bow down to my reign of terror.” He replied. “I don’t care what you want to do just give me back my sister!” I demanded. “If you want her back then you’ll have to beat me!” I drew an arrow as quickly when then with blinding speed all Alastor did was move and the arrow in my hand instantly turned to dust I’ve never seen anything like it this would be my hardest foe yet. I charged at him thinking you know maybe I’d have more luck. As if I was nothing his arm smashed me out of the way I was slammed into the wall and fell to the floor the impact caused me to cough up blood the shock could have killed the strange thing was that it didn’t I got the feeling he was holding back for some reason. I had one hope left like I was crazy I began endlessly firing off arrows as fast as I could and with no effort he deflected all the arrows and I couldn’t even nail a single hit on him. I was reaching my limit this guy was invincible. “Now it’s time to see if you’re as good as you say you are this is a special blade and none have survived the wounds it causes.” He held up a brandished dagger and a dark aura was emitting from the blade I couldn’t let him win he had my sister I had to kill him. I got up and drew my last arrow aimed and before I even let go he charged so fast that he even created a sonic boom. His slash split my bow and went clean into my arm the pain was something no one could bare it felt like my entire arm was melting I got on the floor my grip on reality was being lost then out of darkness a figure appeared right in front of me. It was Raymond. “Raymond what are you doing!” I barely managed to force out the words. “Aint it obvious twinkle I’s saving your hide. I gotta say kid you’re a real dumb as* to do this. Now there’s only one way to stop him.” Massive amount of energy began pouring out of Raymond’s hand. “You full you’ll get us both killed!” yelled Alastor. “You being dead is definitely worth my death don’t worry twinkle you’ll see me again when the time is right. Behold AMPLIFICATION!!!!!” The whole tower began shaking I couldn’t stay up any longer I failed. I thought it was all over when Oseanaru and the other came and got me they got Marnista out of the cage and they got me out of there before I went out I looked at my sister than back at the tower the shock wave blew the tower apart was it over I couldn’t tell at this point it didn’t really matter I didn’t even think I was gonna make it. “Thank you Raymond.” Right then I fell asleep.

A Tempest Scar

Everything was dark but not just dark as in everything was gone there was nothing like I couldn’t even feel pain was I dead or am I alive it was impossible to tell. I then saw something in the distance it was a city it was so dimly lighted I began to move towards it but it never came closer I turned around to find myself staring into Bryhilld it was empty which was weird cause it was never empty my eyes were adjusting still and as I tried to fix my gaze even more I saw something I would never forget. Spawned across the streets everywhere there were dead bodies where the he** was I not even there this was worse than he**. I heard a voice I looked back to see who or it was I couldn’t believe what I saw. It was Marnista and she was covered in blood she began mumbling something. “Mariku why…why….why couldn’t you save me…..why couldn’t you save our parents….why couldn’t you save me! Why! Why! Why!” She began to panic I went over to her to help her when all the sudden her image melted into black a large black hand sprung out of the dark matter slammed me in the stomach right up against the wall I couldn’t move its strength was too strong I looked around and all the dead body also melted into the black matter this time they took the image of what looked like a deformed human they kept moving closer the red glow of their eyes gave me the feeling that this was even worse than dead. They kept asking the same thing. “Why did you leave? Why did you fail? Are we nothing to you? We want to know? We want to know!” In the distance I saw it have of Bryhilld it was sinking into the ground! No this wasn’t happening. This wasn’t real! This wasn’t real! This wasn’t real! This wasn’t real! This wasn’t real! No! No! No! I was losing control I couldn’t bare it anymore. I thought it was over but I felt something like maybe a part of me was still alive and it was growing then I just exploded light burst from me everything was clearing up all being erased. I suddenly woke up in the military’s infirmary my cousins where there I couldn’t believe I was still alive I remembered what happened Raymond used amplification to kill Alastor only it took him out too. That dream if it was even a dream definitely told me something it told me that Alastor was still out there and just as powerful as before.

Next: Solstice Brigade with New People

Ok story thus far yeah ok rescued my sister Raymond sacrificed himself to kill Alastor even though he probably isn’t even dead but everyone cept me thinks he is. What a pickle oh wait but aren’t we forgetting something oh yeah I remember NOTK and Thraxx yeah they are still out there and whose job was it to get rid of them…..that’s right the Solstice Brigade’s so this is when I come back from a month break my story will be blending into the movie after the next few chapters got to build up the characters. Then more action then boom the movie told from my point of view it will then go into the sequel movie which will probably never be made but who cares anyway BACK TO ADVENTURE! Oh and this next chapter skips one so I can have one of those lost chapter things at the end deleted scenes and all yeah so we are in the Solstice Brigade about 2 weeks later so I’m up and about sorta >.> new members have joined like Mach and Anica whom you have all never met. Except for a few who have

A Solstice Brigade with new Members

Ok well everyone thought Alastor was dead even though I think he is still out there but who cared I was back with the Solstice Brigade we even got our own base which was cool I guess a place to sleep and stuff….all I know is I still couldn’t move my arm cut by Alastor’s blade and the Clerics said they never seen a wound like it and that they had no way of healing it. I just decided to sit down and put my head on the table and of course fall asleep since well what use was I to everyone else I couldn’t aim with just one arm. Marnista saw me fall asleep I’m guessing she wanted to wake me up for some reason I don’t know she pulled an arrow out of my quiver and of course jabbed with it. It didn’t bother me I was used to it she must have done it like 5 more times when she decided to ask Kage to do something for her before I knew it Kage threw his dagger at me “$@#&. Holy crap im up jeez didn’t need to do that.” I said. “Mariku I’d like you to meet some of our new members this here is Anica and Mach.” Explained Kage. The acolyte Anica a little shy just said hi but Mach I tell ya this guy was something else he was another scout who seemed always game for adventure. “Oh how nice to meet ya you’re a scout too huh. Why aint you wearing your regulation issued Scout armor? I hear you fought Alastor was he powerful god dam I wish I was there to see it.” This guy just wow he was tossing me around and everything I feel back to the floor dizzy nice to meet you too Mach. “Ok guys enough fooling around as you know Alastor might be gone but our enemy NOTK and their leader Thraxx is still out there not to mention that traitor Blackheart. Anyway as you can see 4 members and an 8 year old girl isn’t enough. So we have to journey to Eir and our new HQ to meet two new members waiting there.” Explained Kage. Sure Marnista was with us but she wasn’t fully accepted in the Brigade yet she needed time. “Eir? I gotta say that’s quite a far way from here though.” Said Anica. “Nonsense we can stop off in Essnse and Candy Vault on the way there it’s only a five day trip.” Said Mach. Oh great so we walk for 5 days and I’m as useless as a rock ok fine I guess we will go better start packing.

Part One: A Desert mirage

So far we have been on our way to Eir for 2 days and you know what it basically it sucked. My arm still not able to move prevented me from using my bow so I had to move back to use a wimpy dagger in my NON-dominant hand so if we were faced by man eating monsters we were dead. Worse than the fact of me being disabled was that it was so HOT and this is why I hate the desert it’s just sand and heat and on occasion there’s a rock. “We have been walking for so long and it doesn’t even look like we are getting any closer.” Complained my sister who was falling behind a bit. “Ok everyone take a break.” Said Kage. That’s all I wanted to hear but then as I sat down the ground began to shake. About twenty creatures then exploded from under the sand. There posture was terrible, no way could they be human and some were riding on large boars. “Sand Bandits!” said Kage. I kicked my bow up to my sis and drew dagger, everyone was quickly armed. One of the bandits lashed its poisoned claw towards Kage. He easily dodged it and with both of his daggers he cut the bandit into pieces.

Now it was my turn. One of the bandits began moving towards me and this one had a katana. I took two steps forward and slashed at the bandit; as if he saw it coming he bashed the dagger out of my hand, did a back flip and smashed his foot into my jaw. I landed right on my back with blood dripping from my mouth. “You fuc**** bas****!” I yelled. I drew an arrow and thought for a moment, that’s it I got it! I jammed the arrow into the bandit’s chest and ran the words through my head. “Wind Blow!” The arrow and the bandit then exploded and wasn’t to pretty to look at either. Anica then casted oblivion on a different bandit causing them to melt into the sand also not a very pleasant sight but screw them for trying to kill us. We took down about 8 and before we knew it there were even and we couldn’t go like this much longer.

I knew this wasn’t it for us, if needed we could get our asses out of there but the entire mission would be fuc***. “Well c’mon Kage think, you usually know what to do.” Said Mach. “Maybe I could try using circle trap.” Said Kage. “Are you sure your ready to do that yet I mean you’re talking about a rouge level skill here.” Said Anica. Kage closed his eyes and just waited, meditated. He then suddenly began to spin with energy emitting from his dagger and… His face smashed into the ground and he was out cold. One of the bandits threw a boomerang at the back of Kage’s head. “Shi* now what do we do our leader is dead from the neck up and we are seriously outnumbered.” I said. This was it hopefully they would just kill us quickly and painlessly instead of just leaving us to die out in the desert heat. Then out of nowhere a figure appeared in the sky it was coming down straight towards us.

“Force blast!!!” A sudden shock wave threw me off balance as sand was tossed up everywhere I couldn’t see a thing. Once the sand cleared a disciple stood there on the dead body of one of the bandits. The strangest thing happened next her club changed into the shape of a squire’s blade. She charged at another one of the bandits and took its head clear off. Another two bandits riding boars began charging right at her. She jumped up above the two bandits and her weapon changed to the form of an apprentice staff. As she hovered in the air the end of her staff began glowing red hot. “Magic Fire!!!” A column of fire rained down on the two bandits and completely incinerated them. After she completely blew the two pigs to pieces, she landed in a mass of about 20 other bandits all armed with crossbows, bows, and boomerangs. Instantly they all fired no one could escape this. “Chain Block!!!” It was amasing a wall of chains defelcted all the projectiles from harming the disciple. The chains instantly disappeared and the disciple spun around in the air. Storm clouds filled the sky above her staff glowing and all I heard was one word.

“Lightning!!!” Thunder bolts filled the sky raining down on every bandit killing them instantly. They were all dead every last bandit lay spawned in the sand spinal cords blown to pieces. I couldn’t believe it took just one person to kill all those sand bandits. No it wasn’t just one person but, three totally different personalities. She could change her form of combat at any giving moment a talent anyone would hope to achieve just who was this person. Kage finally got up and Anica went to tend to his wounds. Mach stepped up to the disciple. “Wow, um thanks for saving us back there mind if I ask your name?” Mach asked. She turned around looking directly at us and what seemed like stars glowed in her eyes. “Name is Starr nice to meet cha.”

[Sineat]

Chapter: My leg is Asleep
“Ok then well thanks again Starr you really saved our as* back there.” Said Mach. “Ok thanks but it’s time for us to move we got a job to do and we can’t risk be any further behind at this point.” Said Kage. “Whoa whoa just wait a minute you guys are the Solstice Brigade right? The high council told me to find you about joining.” Said Starr. “Wait, how exactly did you find us out here in the middle of the desert?” I asked. “It’s pretty easy to find a group of people from the air.” Said Starr. Kage walked up to Starr “So you’re telling us you have a sky rider and your one of the new recruits to join the brigade….alright then I’m good with that now just one last person to get then mission accomplished.” Said Kage. “Now I’m sure you all have a million questions to ask but if you haven’t noticed its getting dark and the desert at night is a lot worse near here in the bandit’s territory now I’ll take ya to my sky rider and we will be on our way to my camp.” Said Starr. We followed her up the dune of sand to find a sky rider resting on the sand. It had two wings that angled at the top on what seemed like air balloons but they weren’t they were fuel tanks and when combined with a mages power this thing had some serious speed. I saw the word Resurrection written on both sides guess that was its name. There was also a rouge standing on top of it loading stuff into the cargo hatch on top he put everything in then climbed in himself guess he had some fragile things in there he didn’t want broken. All of us loaded into the sky rider and sat down on the benches bolted to the side. Kage looked a little nervous. “Hey these don’t crash often right?” asked Kage. “Depends did you bring a parachute any way we now have lift off.” Said Starr the roar of the engine made us all jump a bit since none of us have ever been in one of these things.

I looked out the one of the side hatches and saw nothing but sand and to think we were gonna cross it all by foot but the view was amazing. It was only about 5 minutes and we were already landing down into a large desert camp this more than just Starr’s camp there had to be at least 50 other people here. We hoped out the ship once we touched down. The rouge that was in the cargo hatch then jumped down and approached me. “Hey I saw you fighting out there it’s a bit sad to even call you a neophyte can you even turn invisible?” asked the rouge as he turned invisible. He must not have seen me blow the shi* out of that bandit. “Parasite!!!” The rouge then became visible along with his surprised face. “Oh well um guess that explains why you sucked with a dagger no hard feelings?” said the rouge. “Belothar quit screwing around and unload the cloren fuel bombs into the tent and don’t drop them either.” Said Starr. “So Starr is he the other one who applied to join us because you know rouge don’t sound too bad?” asked Kage. “Nope but I’m pretty sure the one you’re looking for is here follow me I’ll take you to his tent.” Said Starr. As she led us through the camp everyone here looked like military recruits. “Hey Starr why exactly are you all here anyway?” I asked. “Well see we were all driven form our homes by the sand bandits we all came here together and train so one day we can take back our villages we call in camp Canard.” Explained Starr. We arrived at the one tent went inside and found a squire asleep. “Oh yeah I forgot to mention he’s been in a coma for 3 weeks.”

Ok now I’m gonna try to do something new here from now on the story’s narrator will now change between Marnista and Mariku.

Chapter:New forms of Combat now we kick @ss

“Wait what do you mean he’s been in a coma for four weeks you know what’s wrong!?” asked Kage. “Calm down don’t freak out about it we have determined that’s he’s only like this since we assume he got lost in the desert than collapsed we think he should be up in another 3 days at most.” Explained Starr. My sis wondered over to the giant sword in the corner of the tent. “Whoa does this sword belong to him how on earth can he lift it?” said Marnista. “Well I’m not quite sure it’s his but it was with him when we found him…” Starr’s expression then became serious. “Marnista is it? Can you come with me for a bit I’d like to talk to you?” asked Starr. I told her go ahead and they both left the tent. They were replaced by the rouge that had just walked in. “Well since you guys are gonna be staying here for a bit then I might as well teach you all how to fight better since what I saw back in the desert wasn’t very good follow me to the training ground.” Said Belothar. WE decided why not and followed him to an open field with a bunch of practice dummies for fighting. “Ok people first thing I’m gonna do is teach you how to take out multiple enemies without using any actual skills I call it the Windmill strike. It’s quite simple basically you stand up on your hands. Then after you got that down you basically want to spin whether it’s on your hands or back don’t really matter but while you’re doing this you want to kick your legs out for an all around attack.” Explained Belothar as he showed us how to do it. “Ok the neophyte your first Kage or whatever.” Said Belothar. I don’t even know why I’m here anyway it’s not like I can do this anyway just waste of my time.

“You there crippled scout clearly you can’t do this since well yeah how bout you try to build up some speed by running some laps around the field.” Said Belothar. You know what fine I began running and running and running and running and running and…..running for about 3 hours till I was so tired I thought I might as well be dead. “Ok guys that’s enough for the day might as well get you guys in your tents. “Yeah you guys go ahead you know I sleep outside over a tent I’m gonna go get my sis and we’ll be up by the tree on that cliff overlooking the ocean.” I said. Once I began walking to Starr’s tent I began wondering will by arm always be like this or could it be even worse and cost me my life. No I couldn’t let this get to me nothing would get any better if I worry but I wish I knew why my arm was like this. I came to Starr’s tent to find Marnista waiting for me and we then made our way to the large tree I figured I wouldn’t ask her what Starr wanted. When we got there my sis climbed up and I just sat against the trunk. Strange this is one of the only trees for miles wonder why there’s one here oh well. After that I dose right off asleep. After about an hour something woke me up I looked up to see that Marnista wasn’t up in the tree anymore I looked over to the cliff to see her standing on the edge of the cliff.

(Switch to Marnista)

If what Starr said is true then I should be able to…but what if I mess up can I really do this? C’mon Marn get a hold of yourself you can do this. I just stood there then began to lead forward and let myself fall down the cliff. Concentrate, concentrate, I can do this, I just have to try, I MUST! Suddenly I stopped falling I was just floating there I can’t believe it I did it and I remembered what Starr had told me.

(Flashback) “Ok Marnista you saw me fight correct?” asked Starr. “Uh yeah somehow you were able to change your combat form at will it was really cool.” I replied. “Well I bet your wondering how I did that we’ll see it’s because I’m what one would call a Blessed. Being who were gifted with the powers of Jureah herself why certain people are chosen are not yet known.” Explained Starr. “I... I don’t understand why are you telling me this?” I asked. “Well Marnista the thing is you are also a Blessed and I must say for someone so young to have powers so far past mine is incredible. We Blessed have to ability to sense other blessed and there powers. You Marnista carry the power of telekinetic manipulation what is most strange is that you also have another power but for some odd reason I cannot look into it.” Explained Starr. “Wait so you’re telling me that all this time I’ve had special powers no one else has but how do I use them?” I asked. “Well it’s quite simply actually you just need to think of everything that keeps you going whether its happiness, loved ones, to save someone, and with that you need to use those concentrated thoughts on whatever it is your using it on. In my case I use it on body and sword which allows me to change my fighting abilities. Now I think that enough for tonight it’s getting late you should go off to bed.” Said Starr. When I walked out of the tent I saw Mariku there and we came up here. I then decided to try out my new powers if I can levitate objects I should start small about an hour after Mariku went to sleep I began to experiment. First I started with just some small pebbles it took a bit but I managed to get them to float for a bit. As I went on I tried bigger things and I basically perfected picking things up but what else could I do with this. Then it hit me if I can use my powers on myself I may be able to fly and that’s where I jumped off the cliff. (End Flashback).

Now here’s something that should allow me to help Mariku and the SB fight more. I got these from the armory after Mariku went to sleep. I held 5 bows in my hands and thought on them they began to float and circulate around me and then I pulled out a couple arrows. Then with my powers I made bubbles of water float up ahead of me a bit. Then I thought the arrows came out of the quiver nocked themselves and I made the five bows fire with full force while I increased the speed of the arrows all arrows hit their target exactly and with great power to so this was how I was to fight. If only I knew what my other power was then I could achieve even more I flew back up to the cliff to find Mariku standing there guess he saw me.

(Switch to Mariku)

“So this is a surprise now don’t think I’m angry or anything in fact I’m very proud to think my sis could do such things this is incredible.” I said. “Well that’s what Starr wanted to talk to me about she’s the same way only that I have another power but she can’t tell me what is.” Said Marnista. I walked up to her “Well I’m sure whatever it is we’ll figure it out.” I said. All the sudden Marnista’s hand began to glow then her eyes. “Marn you ok, sis can you hear me you there what’s wrong.” Before I could say anymore I just heard the words “Jureah’s Revival!!!” When the light went away Marnista was just standing there not having a clue what just happened, but something was different it was my arm. I could move it again! “Sis whatever you just did cured my arm I can move it again.” I said. Then Marnista began to fall I caught her before she hit the ground. Whatever she did must have warn her out completely but whatever was going on wasn’t over I turned around and the tree behind us was glowing then it began to suck us in I tried to fight it but we both got sucked in and the shining entrance in the tree closed up.

Chapter: Time for explanation for a god.

I decided that since the original chapter was 4000 words long I split it into 3 chapters instead

I couldn’t see anything but the light blinding me, what the fu** just happened? Then all of the sudden the rush of wind stopped blowing in my face. It was just me and my sis still asleep in an endless realm of white with just a statue in the middle of the room. My sister began to regain conscious. “Mariku where are we right now?” asked Marnista. I let her down when she could stand and I walked over to the statue and read aloud what was engraved on the plaque. “In memory of the founder of scouts Cig the silent relinquish of life.” Relinquish of life eh sounds like a bunch of crap to me now to just find a way out of here. “There is no way out of here!” The sudden voice scared the sh** out of me I turned around to see a giant creature. It had a giant bow in one hand and an arrow in the other. He had many large trees growing out of his body he basically looked like a floating forest. “Hahaha seems I have scared you young scout but then again it’s not very often people are confronted by the god of archers Helix!” Yelled Helix. Was this guy seriously the archer god Helix but it didn’t matter he knows what’s going on and I intend to find out.”

(Switch back to Camp Canard)

Anica was running through the camp at full speed avoiding all others so she didn’t run into them. She then entered Kage’s tent. “Kage both Mariku and Marnista aren’t where they were last night they have gone missing.” Said Anica, “What! Are you sure sh** Mariku where did you go now.” Said Kage. The two left to go tell Starr and when they got there she was not surprised. “Don’t worry yourself Mariku and Marnista are both fine and they will return soon.” Said Starr, “Listen Starr I know you have your reasons but we won’t be able to trust you unless you trust us.” Said Kage, “Heh in due time Kage but now is not the time.” Said Starr, Then five people came into the tent. “Starr we have scouted out today’s patrol but bad news what seems like 15000 sand bandits are heading this way.” Said the acolyte, “15000 you say well seems like they want to finish us off but trust me we aren’t going down without a fight. Kage Anica I want you to go with squad one Rose, Aveyond, Deoxys, Light, and Sasori-Sama and try to find out a good place to attack then Belo and I will gather the rest of the troops.” Said Starr, “Hey wait a minute shouldn’t I be giving the orders?” asked Kage, “Kage for 5 years I promised these people I would lead them to the destruction of those who sent them from their homes I intend to make sure I see this through one way or another.” Said Starr, they all let the tent to prepare for the upcoming battle.

“So Helix please tell me why I’m here.” I asked, “Well let’s see the world is under siege by the dark lord your cursed by tempest and your sister has Jureah’s ability of revival in my eyes you two seem pretty special and you both should expect the unexpected.” Said Helix, “Wait, wait what that thing you said about me being cursed by tempest?” I asked, “You have no idea what this is on your arm? That my curious scout is tempest the most mysterious destructive spiritual energy in existence. I’m surprised that your even still alive most people will die just from touching it better yet controlling it in your arm, but now is not the time for that I have called you two cause your are both greatly need by the world. The only problem is none of your are ready yet.” Said Helix, “What the he** do you mean by that tell me what this thing on my arm is all about!” I said, “You Mariku are nearly just a scout out of hundreds if your are to save this world then you must be more than just a scout you must be an Archer!” yelled Helix. I was embarrassed by my stupidity. “I see so what do I have to do to become an archer get the 3 demon bloods as most archers do right?” I asked, “Not in my case those you pass my test become true archers among the land of Xen. I will explain to you what you must do. You must find the end of Marksman Mountain but to get there only the statue will be your guide and let me assure you it will be more than just the two of you. You will meet your destined rivals on the way there and defeat if your are to have any chance of becoming an archer.” Said Helix as he disappeared, the only guide is the statue eh. I walked over and touched the plaque and it began to glow. When I was able to read it, it said only your eyes will tell you where to go. Become those who where the first to scout and then you’ll see the way, but only after friendship is made will you all know what to say. Use your eyes as those first to scout…of course “Falcon’s Eye!!!” everything appeared to me and Marnista. It was a large jungle with cliffs covered in foliage this was a scout’s paradise we saw a trail and began our way down it.

Chapter: The siege of Canard and the Test of Eyes

Kage was tired not just that he was almost dead he never thought it would be such a long walk to the base where they were gonna scout the forces of sand bandits. “Finally were here thought I was gonna die going up that mountain.” Said Kage, “It's not over yet we still got to make sure where we attack these guys.” Said Sasori, “I was thinking maybe a flank from that side canyon over there would be best.” Said Aveyond, “No if we take too much heat we may get trapped in there and well have no way of getting out.” Explained Deoxys, “I don’t think it’s going to matter at this point. Look there are a lot less of them then before this is a group of reinforcements the main line must have already advanced quite far. In fact from the looks of things we better get our as**** back over to Canard before it’s too late.” Said Rose, “What are you kidding me we have to go all the way back to camp canard god fu** can’t believe I am doing this and I don’t even get paid.” Said Kage, the team began rushing back to Canard as fast as they could hoping to get there before the bandit army did.

(Switch to Mariku and Marnista)

“Gah Onii-Chan we’ve been out here for 3 days how much longer till we are over the mountain?” asked Marnista, “I don’t know sis but it still looks like we got a while.” I said, I was beginning to wonder the same thing for the last three days it’s been nothing but traps and monsters all the time and barely giving us a break I don’t know how much longer the two of us could last. I looked back to see my sis hovering about a foot off the ground. “What you run around a lot more you got stronger legs I need my breaks at times.” Said Marnista, “Whatever you say, it’s just that I’m still not very used to you being able to that.” I replied, we came up to a wall of rocks. “Don’t worry Onii-Chan I got it.” Said Marnista, we both began floating over the large wall to find a large clearing in the trees and she let us down in the middle of the clearing. “Wow this place gives me a strange feeling.” I said, I felt something against my feel I looked down and saw the grass was moving I had a bad feeling about this. The grass began twisting together forming vines they all tied together and before we knew it a giant creature made out of vines was standing before us. It then began to speak.

It was impossible to understand what he was saying like it was a different language. It then sudden lashed out 3 vines at us I Ducked in time and the vine went straight through the tree behind me. Marnista flew up above the creature. She started diving down towards the creature with her bows out and loaded. She then fired an assault of about 30 arrows they all landed in the creatures head.

The creature spoke again us still not understanding a word it said. Then Marnista cried out “Wind Blow!!!” the arrows buried in the monsters head then exploded almost completely taking off its entire head, but something wasn’t right. Its head…it was regenerating.

“I honestly have no idea what you’re saying but I’m pretty sure that you’re making fun of me, you just made your last mistake.” I said as I let the words run through my head, “Spiritual!!!” I could feel my reflex’s triple. I began running around the Creature full speed, confused he lashed out 4 vines at me I dodged them and they shot into the ground. I began running up the vines he had just attacked me with, when I got close to the head I leaped up and knew what to do. “Ankle Bind!!!” as the vines lashed out of one of my arrows I grabbed it and spun round slashing off the top portion of the creature with the sharp vine. That’s when I saw a dark aura glowing from the center of the creature, Tempest! That must be the source of his power. I thought up my plan as quick as I could, still feel the effects of spiritual I began run down the monster full speed. “Sis when I just I’m gonna need as much forward momentum as possible.” I yelled, when I reached the point I wanted I jumped forward off the monster and let Marn propel forward as quick as she could. My target was a large tree branch when I was at the right position I wrapped the vive I still had around the branch. I began spinning around the branch, and when the vine reached its limit I let go and shot myself right towards the monsters head and before I hit him he opened his mouth and swallowed me. “Onii-Chan!” yelled Marnista, I was inside the creature now and I began looking for the tempest core I found it and grabbed for it. Before I could electrical field surrounded it and dam did it hurt. I couldn’t stop I had to do it, the pain was excruciating. “Almost there!” I said, I then grabbed the core and I felt the energy pouring out of it. The inside of the creature went into complete chaos. “Onii-Chan pleases answer me are you ok.” Yelled Marnista,

The creature then stopped. His stomach began to bulge energy shooting out between the vines.

The creature exploded this time not regenerating. I was standing in the middle of a pile of vines holding the tempest in my palm. “Onii-Chan your ok!” said Marnista as she began to walk over to me. The tempest then went out of control it burned to hold then I saw the tempest absorbing into my hand and I went unconscious for a bit. When I came to Marnista was there trying to figure out what was wrong. “That’s twice in the last 20 minutes I thought I lost you Onii-Chan.” Said Marnista, I looked down at my hand and there were black marks all over my hand but unlike last time I could still move it perhaps an immunity of some sort. “It's ok sis I’m fine now we better get moving in case there’s more of those things around here.

(Switch to camp Canard) Where only a day has passed compared to the three that passed back with Mariku and Marnista.

Kage, Starr, and all the other soldiers stood at the battle field ready to fight they are only about 3 miles away from the camp. “Starr-Sama are you sure we can defend against this assault I mean its 150 against 2500 with odds like that this is basically suicide.” Said Kage, “Again Kage-Kun don’t worry yourself in due time our reinforcements will be here and then the battle will be cake.” Said Starr, A line of Sand Bandits appeared over the dune and stopped once they reached the top. “Kage-Kun I think I should give you the speech here.” Said Starr, Kage nodded in agreement. “Fellow soldiers Solstice Brigade fighter this is our first chance to prove ourselves. Let us not make this our last battle but make it our first victory. We fight to protect this land and these are the ones who wish to destroy it. Let judgment be pressed down upon them and we shall break their forces and keep this land safe under our oath. I tell you men charge with and let this be one of our greatest destinies fulfilled! Charge!!!!” said Kage as the Canard warriors began charging toward the enemy, the sand bandit’s then charged down the hill as well. The sky filled with lightning and it rained for the first time in 5 years. The two armies then collided as bandits were struck down with arrows and weapons.

Belothar leaped up over the bandits and threw himself down. “Sandstorm!!!” a cloud of sand pushed back a bunch of bandits and when the sand cleared Sasori-Sama and Belothar the two rouges were standing back to back and began cutting down enemies. Starr drew her blade and charged into a group of bandits. “Reflection!!!” a blinding light then shot out of her sword which then changed into a disciple’s mace. “Chain Block!!!” chains shot out of Starr's club and entangled the blinded bandits. The chains then whipped out and began to spin around cutting down any bandit hit by it. Starr then threw the chains up in the air and had them crash down into the sand creating a shock wave that took out at least 50. It was the mages turn light and Deoxys concentrated. “Magic Fire!!!” tow columns of fire rained down on the bandits “Mind Buster!!!” the two apprentices then began shoot out balls of energy at the bandits killing them on impact. Both Anica and Rose had their hands full tending to the wounded and Mach was ranging up on a dune far away. The disciple thirsty for revenge brought out his club and smashed 5 bandits down to the ground. “Force Blast!!!” Aveyond broke the bandit’s skull right open as he took out many more. Kage was busy scouting through the battle field invisible trying to find their leader so he could take them out and put the bandit under no command. This battle was going to be hard to win.

(Switch to Mariku and Marnista where 12 hours have passed)

The two came up to the top of the mountain which formed a large plateau at the top covered in trees and such. They walked to the center to find a shrine that read. If you are reading this you are not quite done you have to fight to fight your greatest rival but you will only pass if the journey remains clear in your head. Suddenly an arrow came flying towards us “Wind Blow!!!” we both jumped back from the explosion. Two figures emerged from the trees both other scouts. “I take it your Mariku well then my name is Judize now as you have read the shrine we must fight TO THE DEATH!”

Chapter: Judize vs. Mariku, A lost friendship

Judize!? It couldn’t be my greatest child hood friend I have to fight him, but I could I just couldn’t what was all of this. “Judize-san what are you talking about we have to fight this is crazy.” I said, “Because of what you did to us!” Judize suddenly came out at me with a dagger, I was able to dodge it and do a back flip kicking into his jaw and put him on the ground. “Nice man but your forgetting I’m a scout now!” he pulled out his bow and aimed 3 arrows at me. “Wind Blow!!!” I got out of the way just in time and the arrows exploded behind me. “Damm it Judize why are you doing this? This isn’t like you it’s me Mariku remember your best friend.” I said. “See at once I actually believed that, but that was then. Mariku you abandoned us our village destroyed they…they even took Kanamii away from me!” said Judize, he threw a punch at me and it nailed me in the stomach and I stepped back. “Why though, why must you kill me?” I asked, “Because you left us! You weren’t there for us Blackhearts forces destroyed everything we lived for and now it’s gone!” said Judize, when I was on the ground he kicked me again sending me back even further. “After Blackheart did what he did I followed him back and begged him to return Kanamii. He said that if I was to ever see him again I’d have to kill you! So he sent me here along with Bred here and for half a year we waited here for you waited for this day I would see my beloved again!” yelled Judize, He kicked me once more this time pushing me to the edge of the cliff and I remembered all we’ve been through.

(Flash Back of 6 years ago when Mariku was only 10 and Judize was only 9)

“Aw c’mon Mariku why you always got to be up in that tree sleeping all day come down here its boring playing poyo ball without you.” Said Judize, “Well maybe sometimes I just like to sleep for once.” Said Mariku, “Dude it’s not just we need another player well….well Kanamii is there and…” “Say no more Judize-San I’ll help ya out here so I guess I’ll go.” Said Mariku, “Wait really! Thanks man!” said Judize. The two then walked off to the Poyo ball field. (Poyo ball is a game that requires players to ride a giant poyo while being able to get the ball into the opposite goal with their hands. Other player can use physical violence to knock the ball out of the players with the ball which can also be passed.) There were two teams Judize and Mariku where on one team while the MVP champ Levonta was on the other. “You got to be kidding me we have to play against Levonta you know how dirty he plays.” Said Mariku, “Yeah guess we are gonna have to take care of that then.” Said Judize, Kanamii was up in the stands watching the entire game. “All right players! Mount your poyo’s and gather at your positions!” yelled the official, Mariku was a demolition it was his job to get the ball to other players on his team and steal from the other team when they had it. Judize was a main shot shooter it was basically his job to score. Mariku and the other player gathered at the mid field area for the ball toss. “Hey kid you know something I just noticed that um well your poyo is pregnant.” Said Mariku, “Wait seriously?” said the other player as he looked down on his poyo. The ball was then thrown up and Mariku did a back flip kicking the ball to one of their player Ryuhei. Who ran the ball back and forth by passing it to Judize and back? “Ok Judize I’m going in for the score!” yelled Ryuhei, as he aimed he aimed his shot Levonta came out of nowhere slamming his poyo right into his throwing Ryuhei off his poyo and dropping the ball. “What an idiot don’t announce what you're gonna do even if it kills ya!” said Levonta, Mariku then came up to the side of Levonta standing on two feet. Mariku began fighting hand to hand with Levonta but Levonta put his foot into Mariku’s poyo causing Mariku to have to break off. Levonta took aim and fired right into the goal. Turns out Ryuhei was injured leaving Judize's team with only 3 compared to Levonta’s 4.

Judize had the ball he was running back and forth dodging anyone trying to steal the ball from him. Levonta again slammed into Judize sending the ball up in the air, but Mariku was able to catch it shoot and score. “Judize are you all right?” asked Mariku, “My left arm is a bit out of it but I can still play” said Judize as he climbed back on his poyo, “Judize-San I got a plan listen up.” Said Mariku as he explained to Judize what they were going to do, Mariku was able to steal a ball from one of the other players. Doing what he had planned he threw the ball at one of the poles bouncing it toward Judize, who jumped up and kicked the ball back at Mariku. Positioning him just right he slammed the ball with his foot and it hit right into Levonta’s head sending him down and the ball up. Judize was in the perfect position as he jumped up and slammed the ball into the goal with his foot. Judize’s team had one and it ended with Mariku and Judize giving a high five.

(End of Flash Back)

I was almost off the edge of the cliff Judize would just have to hit me one more time and that was the end of it but then I realized it. I stood up and Just looked at him some reason the hand that had been infected with tempest began burning. “Judize-San I know how good of friends we were but it’s clear to me now. The only way I can knock some sense into is if I defeat you!” I yelled, “Ankle Bind!!!” the large vine trapped Judize around the tree behind him. I began charging at him thinking to put my fist to his face, but Judize was able to slip out his dagger in time and cut the vine. Right before I was about to hit him he realized himself and ducked. When I hit the tree its whole shape warped into a mass of matter. What was this my hand did this I could have done that to Judize well I guess it’s best if I just use my bow here. As I turned around Judize had already nocked an arrow “Wind Blow!!!” I ducked out of the way and jumped up to the top of the tree and began firing of wind blows like never before. Judize had become really fast every shoot I fired at him missed. As he was running he put both his hands up to the tree “Reticle Trap!!!” large spikes shot out of the tree sending me back down to the ground. Thought I wouldn’t have to use this skill “Bramble Way!!!” a huge mass of vines wrapped around Judize and 100yards around us was nothing but vines. We both thought the words “Spiritual!!!” the two of us dashed towards each other exchanging kicks and punches. It was quite clear that we were both equally matched but one of us had to win. We both Jumped back and just kept shooting arrows at each other and missing soon we were going to be out of arrows. I ran up a tree and launched off it delivering a kick right into Judize slamming him into the ground. Once the dust cleared he stood up. “Wow Mariku I can see how powerful you have gotten I must call it an honor to fight you to bad your still gonna lose.” Said Judize, “Heh what makes you so sure that’s all I got.” I said, “Just a thought!” yelled Judize as he shot off another wind blow. I deflected it with my hand infused with tempest and then used the words “Siphon!!!” a large energy wave shot out of my hand pinning Judize down against a tree and knocking him unconscious. Still using spiritual I ran up a tree and then jumped with full force and went up about 2000 feet in the air. Judize was able to come to and saw what I was doing and he put his hands under his feet. “Reticle Trap!!!” a giant spike came up under him shooting him up towards me. “Damm only two arrows left well let’s make em count I held the head back and away from me, “Wind Blow!!!” the arrows exploded sending me downward even faster. We were both gonna collide and only one of us would probably make it.

We both punched each other causing a giant explosion in the sky sending us both back down to the ground. We both landed near the cliff and Judize was unconscious he then bounced off the side of the cliff. “Judize!” I yelled I ran over t-o the cliff and was able to catch his arm just in time. Still weak I pulled him up safely on the cliff. “Judize you alright man?” I asked, when Judize came to he began talking. “Why Mariku after everything I did you still saved me?” asked Judize, “Because man I told you already we were best friends and believe me I’ll help you in any way I can to help you safe Kanamii.” I said, “Heh funny I can’t believe I actually tried to kill you that and you beat me too wow what a day.” Said Judize, He was able to stand up and we both made our way back to the shrine where Marnista had Bred held against the ground the entire time. “I figured that since he was with him I figured he try to kill me so I just had him held down the whole time.” Explained Marnista, “Oh yeah Mariku-San this is Bred another scout I met while looking for Black Heart.” Said Judize, “So I take it you two are friends now does that mean I can let this guy free.” Asked Marnista, “Yeah sis let him go everything’s good now.” I said, Just as Marnista let Bred free the shrine began to glow and Helix then emerged from the shrine. “Congratulations young scouts you have passed the test to be defeat your rival and make them your friend. Now is time for your reward.” Said Helix, Both Judize and I then were floating in the air and we began to glow. There was a bright light and when we could see again we had changed my hair changed black with streaks of red and my eyes bright red. My armor had become lighter but more defensive best in other words he tricked out my hoody. When I looked at Judize about the same had happened only he had looked like any old archer I’ve seen before. I looked down at my bow it was totally new stronger more powerful. “Behold Mariku for you are now one of very few Judize has become an Archer but you Mariku being that you have the power of tempest you have become a Tempest Archer one who uses the tempest to the extent that any archer would but you must remember to keep this controlled for if you loss control of its power you may very well be dead. Now I send you 4 back to your realm your friends are in grave danger.” Said Helix, he showed us the battle that was happening at camp Canard. “So the Solstice Brigade really does exist. Mariku Bred and I will join the Solstice Brigade and help in any way we can so long as Helix sends us with you.” Said Judize, “Sure Judize-San that’s no problem at all. Ok Helix we are ready send us back.” I said, Helix put his hand over us and a light came shining down from it and then we were gone.

1.This was and will probably always be my hardest chapter I have ever written.

2.If I put this up as a 3D movie you would basically be watching the greatest battle scene on earth.

3.Writing the battle became very difficult.

4.I know I’m not even an archer yet but c’mon this make the story more dramatic.

Chapter: 5 Soldiers Will Make a Difference

After a day of battle the Solstice Brigades numbers have fallen greatly so far it seems that the entire battle is hopeless. The Solstice Brigade has had to fall back closer to camp Canard exactly what the bandits wanted. “Kage we got a man down wait no two da** it sir we can’t fight like this anymore we have to…” the soldier was cut down before he could finish, “Starr it’s no hope we lost to many already and there are still hundreds of them!” yelled Kage, “Our only hope should be here soon we just have to hope Mariku will pull through for us!” said Starr, a mass of arrows were shoot at her. “Magic shield!!!” an energy barrier quickly appeared around Starr but one arrow was able to make it through and hit Starr in the shoulder. “Ah dang it c’mon Mariku don’t fail me now! If you don’t know by now….WE NEED YOU!!!” yelled Starr, “Well from what things look like I’m sure you all do.” Kage looked back to see Mariku, Marnista, Judize, Bred, and Legiav the once unconscious knight standing on top of the hill. “Mariku you made it I’ll beat on ya later but right now you better hope you five can save us.” Said Kage, “So this is the giant army we have to take down. Shouldn’t be a problem with this sword.” Said Legiav, “Honestly I think we can take em what’s a bunch of bandits anyway nothing but practice targets.” Said Bred, “Ok then let’s get this party started then just attack any way that makes you happy.” Said Mariku, The five then ran down the hill as fast as they could Marnista and Bred broke off first then Mariku and Judize and Legiav taken the main forward defense. “Slash!!!” Legiav’s large sword lashed out and took down about 10 bandits instantly. “C’mon is that all you got!” Leg picked up his sword again in the air. “Wild Swing!!!” Legiav’s sword spun insanely around him and slashed the bandits into pieces. Marnista was floating over the bandit army while dodging arrows and spells.

“Shouldn’t be that hard after all I can fly.” She began dive bombing towards the bandits below. “Wind Blow!!!” she began firing off wind blows that exploded into their wind energy as they made contact below and sent the bandits flying up in the sky almost cutting the army in two sections. As she began gaining altitude Starr who had gone back to the sky rider Resurrection followed Marnista behind her in the sky. “Need a lift?” asked Starr, Marnista nodded and floated into the Resurrection. “Ready Jud?” I asked, “You bet!” said Jud as he slammed his hands to the ground. “Reticle Trap!!!” the spikes shot up from the ground. I then punched one of them dislodging it from the ground and throwing it up in the air. I jumped up with it, grabbed it then with all my strength threw it at the bandits and one by one it ripped through the bandits as it pierced through their stomachs. “Damm it we still don’t have enough power…..wait that’s it! Kage I need every scout and archer we got up on that hill now!” I yelled, as we ran up the hill. “Ok everyone aim for the metal loop on Starr’s ship on 3. 1….2…3!” I said, “Bramble Way!!!” all scouts shot towards the large metal ring into the metal ring on the Resurrection and the vines wrapped around it making a giant net of vines. “Deoxys, Light once Starr releases the net you know what to do.” I said, the ring then detached from the ship. “Magic Fire!!!” the two beams of fire set the net in flames creating a wall of fire which fell down of the bandit army. The bandits screamed in pain from the fire raining down on them which then silenced out into a quiet grave yard.

(3 hours later) in the briefing tent

“So that’s what happened all about how I found Judize and Bred and how I can move my arm again oh that’s also how I’m an archer now too.” I said, “Man I wish I could have been there sounded like a lot of fun.” Said Mach, the rouge Sasori-Sama then came into the tent. “Starr there’s no sign of the leader or his body looks like he got away, but we were able to get his name. It’s Hecatombe of the red stained sand. That won’t do us much good though since we still don’t know what he looks like.” Said Sasori, “That’s ok for now I’m sure for now that it will take the bandits a long time to recover from this. Rose then entered the tent. “Message to Kage from the capitol city.” Said Rose as she handed Kage the scroll, As Kage read it you could tell by the expression on his face that it wasn’t good. “Already everyone get ready we have to go to the capitol city Bryhilld is under attack.

(To Bryhilld where the battle had just started.)

“Drekard sir! We got a man down!” yelled the new recruit, “Get him to a cleric we can’t let my brother take the city!” yelled Drekard.
