So, i just started the game, im level 13, but i only have my sword and melee attack abilities. also when i look through the skill traders skills. there are no skills that are for a magic casting class that i see.

did i do something wrong?

no matter what at the start do you always end up with 13 pow?

Hehe...At level 16, you can change class to Apprentice, which is a magic-user class. Their skills and equipment are sold in another town, Essene. Until you change to Apprentice, though, all your stat points are automatically put into POW for you because that's all you need. Your stats will be reset when you change class. Hope this helps!

i advise you to put all your stat points into int except for the required pow points needed for your staff (right click it and scroll down, it says how many you need).

have fun being an app :D

I hit 16, and chose apprentice, but my stats by default were 3/12/1/1/3/4. and i put one point into int (only one i had apparently) to make it 13.

Also now my WT bar is flashing red and is 945/1180 :O

Im liking being an app. but mana is such a pain >.<

WT is your carrying Weight. It starts flashing when it's above something like 70%. The closer you get to max, the slower you walk and the lower your attack speed (though as mage that doesn't really matter). At above 80% or so your HP and MP stop auto healing. When it passes max you will literally be crawling.

To lose WT either sell stuff or store it in your hotel.

You're overweight. The green bar is your WT. If it flashes red, you're carrying too much. It's a common problem following a class change. You need to get rid of the gears you wore as a Xenian. That should do the trick.

welcome to the world of xen. Repotting is the ONLY consistant economy sink besides xen stones and enhanced armor.

To become a "Mage" Type character, level your apprentice to 66 then do the class change quest.
