Why did you become a magician?

as everyone may know, magicians are the weakest and the most underpowered class in the game

but regardless you chose to become a magician =D

is it because of the shiny skills? OwO

or maybe you like a challenge?

or perhaps you are a true apprentice of Gandalf the Grey?

players who think that the mages are the weakest are all lame...

its not the class that is weak is the player playing it who is weak...

i choose mage coz they rock.. they get stronger each new skill learn..

and mage is the best class for me...:)

I chose to become a Mage because they tend to be the most complicated class in mmos.
They pwn in the sense that they struggle to survive with each kill and don't just mindlessly tank w/o any damages.
Their skills are almost totally random and unrelated so you would have to find creative uses for them in your own fashion.
They score the highest damage, is able to kite and i've always wondered how it would be to cast spells from afar in pvps.
They can survive soloing in hard maps in which the mobs are 10+ lvls higher than them w/o acos whatsoever and so on....

it was my first character in this game lol. i played Endless online a long time ago. Actually, i cant remember what class i was in that game... or if there were classes o.O. I didnt play for long lol.
and it didnt take me half a month to get third class, it took me around three months lol.

i always thought magic casters are the cool classes.
in world of warcraft i played for 4 years i played all the diffrent magic casters.
druid with nature spells.
shaman with lightining spells
mage with ice/fire/arcane spells
priest with holy/shadow spells
warlock with afflictions/shadow/demonology spells

and when i now started playing this it was just a normal move for me to continue play caster of course.
i love this class and i never wana change ;P

Yeah, the class is underpowered but it is not weak.. It can be improved a bit but overall it is still good..

I played magician/wizard in RO before and it was interesting with multiple magic, great skill animation, highest damage and superb AoE skills..

In this game, magician class has the highest damage, has superb AoE skill without cooldown especially volcano which pawns the mobs and PvP and a unique combination of ice, blind, burn and poison multiple DoT.. It is challenging because we have to repot more often than other classes and we have 2nd lowest defense in the game.. We basically a SURVIVOR in every aspect of the game..

This class is great if you make it great.. Just like I quoted above, this class is not weak, only the user is weak.. This is the best class by far.. ;)

When I made my app, it was supposed to be just an alt... xD I chose that class for that char because of the name.
But then I started to like playing as app, and since the skill casting animation fix, I retired my neo (1st char).
Since this is my first MMORPG, I had no idea of what each class is like. lol

I chose Magician because I love fantasy characters. And I love hitting long range. That is why I chose it. ^^

its a nice class, i lik the amazing aoe, but u cant solo aoe bc u take too much dmg

i made app cause ummm only class i was sure of outa apprentice squire acolyte and neophyte was that aco was healer xD i was hoping app was the one with the sword cause thats what i usually do in most games but oh well i went with it and now i glad i did xP and now i always pick magic user in other games i play now :D

Probably no one knew about this but my very, very, very first character was an Apprentice. o.0 Before all those recreates, deletes, and new mains and alts.
I chose Apprentice at that time because I didn't see Acolyte on the Class Chart because it was so far down the bottom and I wasn't very observant.

I like Magic because it looks cool and long range is my specialty.
I'm planning to recreate *cough* my Apprentice again and hopefully get him to his 30s...

I picked mage because it lined up with the abilities of the character from a TV show that I named Aelita after. Kudos to anyone who knows the show! All my other characters have their classes chosen in the same way.

I choose to create a Apprentice two days ago, i'm already level 37 with 107 def, i take only 1-2 dmg from Hawgs(weirdO.O, Kung-Fu Suit and Baseball Casket sc gears with Cloak of Love and Skull Mask, lol). XP

Reason i create a Apprentice, because i like the pack of skills they have and i decided to test out this class.

I just love magic in general, so magic classes are always my first choice. (And for some reason I just suck royally at playing any other classes so I guess it works out. XD)

apps aren't that weak...they're just difficult to use because they consume so much MP ((MP pot spamming FTW! >.<)). For me though, I originally made an apprentice because I wanted to make a character of every class and see which one better suited my methods of fighting. Though my main is a disciple, I wanted to level my app because I wanted to use the aoe skills...oh well..maybe if I ever level my disc to templar, I'll give my app another shot...

I started out with a squire.didnt do to well with him at all.so i restarted n tried my hand at app/mage.I love it.Such a great challenge to lvl,Strong hits,able to go to higher lvl maps ahead of your time.I also just got the option to bind.I notice with this that we are very useful to an aoe'r when assisting them in pulling a map.Makes it much quicker to destroy the enemy.^^.the only thing i get frustrated at with my magic user is his def.although magic shield helps a little without +ap gear it is very difficult to master a map or help bind.
