What do you consider Archers as?

Well, I have wanted to play this game for such a long time. Apparantly I got a good computer and now I can play this game. The training is a huge disappointment for me. I am only a lvl 20 neophyte, and already I am so confused where to train and hp pots are so expensive...

So instead of wasting my time getting to lvl 45, I just want to ask some questions. Are archers in this game basically grinding types? like a tank type? Or do you use strategies? Like trapping a mob and using AoE skills, canceling spell summons from monsters, and etc... Is there a youtube video that clearly distingushes archer skills and training? I have checked and all I got were job advancements...

Thank you for your time and consideration :D I am still playing this game if it kills me, but I really want to be an archer rogue.

*pokes that famous video* That's a pretty good one. It's pretty much "slow, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, kill".

There are some strategies to working as a long-ranged character in general but those are hard to spell out since they're developed from experience.

well from my experience the scout/archer class is easiest class to lvl up. It can solo which make things lot easier for it
