Teva gold farmers filmed

Found these gold farmers in GH. The names are all similar: Goodboy1, Goodboy2, Goodboy3, Apple001, and Apple002. you can see in the start of the vid. I was fighting gold slimes when 3 of them ran up to ks me.

They didnt say a word to me, just kept attacking when a mob was there, and didnt do anything when mobs werent around, just stood there.

You can also see at the end where their heal bot got stuck healing herself lol. Just posting this incase GM's want to take action.

That is what I do. I watch them for a few minutes. If I decide they are a "farm bot" then they quickly become DEAD farm bots :)

It doesn't stop them, but it sure does slow them down :)

I was in Goblin Camp today and I saw this guy with a bunch of bots. KOhaa, I'm 100% sure was the only real player because the other guys were all just following him and supporting him.

Hey, what program did you use to record that? Can you tell me where I can get it? or did you use webcam?

Hypercam works really well to make clips.

You need a really good computer for cams. Also, fraps should be payed, since you will only record 30 seconds if you didn't pay.

My party saw Goodboy1, Goodboy2, Goodboy3, Apple001, and Apple002 in LS2 today. Yeah, they sure act like bots. We watched them for a while, they constanstly repeated the same motions. We tried to talk to them but they didn't respond. We even KSd and insulted them for a while to forece a response out of them, but they ignored us 100%.

I've seen the same thing but with shouters, they don't answer they just stand there and spam ther emessage but they had them names liek asdf adfs sadf and just combinations of the line of 4 letters on the keyboard with numbers on them but I dont remember the numbers and didnt think to screen them -.o

sorry for the late reaply Meek. I used Fraps to record the vid. And yea- i know its fuzzy, it was my first vid ever and i rushed to record em before they took off or something.

and about the pay for Fraps. yes the free version only lets you record 30secs at a time. But if u take a couple vids, and string them together, you dont have to worry about the 30sec limitation. and saves you money =].

I went looking for them again today to train some mobs at them, but no luck lol

They've been in Moonlight Tomb and Vine Tomb lately, there is also another group of them either competing or dunno, but I'll have to record them. I've also seen a char named with Boss in the name, like RedBoss, MageBoss, who seem to hang around the storage npc in elderine. I've seen these boss chars interacting with both groups in the wild, and the Goodboy chars in elderine, but I have no proof the Boss is related to the whole ordeal. I'll just have to fraps em I guess.

Yeah saw the group in MT today... so...I pulled a train on them LOL both clerics died.

I hate when people pull trains, but in this case... it's justified

i once saw them b4...in forest of mist..they started ksing ppl training there and suddenly ran away...because of thier nme..i suspected they were multi and auto trainer bots...looks like i'm corect i saw them running away all 5 together with loads of monsters chasing they dun care abt others when they ks and dun talk

They're up to Vine Tomb now...still KSing.... still doing the same things.... Hopefully the GM's get around to banning them

I've seen them in BH a million times... and all around Elderine. They just KS, and don't do anything else... but they have all the latest armour for their level O.o so something must be telling them to kill, and get money to get all this shiz... >.<

yea Tasuke, I have a vid of that EXACT same group posted on the forums. unfortunatly its too fuzzy to make out the names but its them.

heres a pic of a gold farmer i found in sand beach. was Ks'ing everyone, he wasnt even picking up his drops.

Yeah, I recommend the GM's check out the users for suspcious activity. Other than that.. we can just train those botters.
