Ok....i had a few problems with my computer and stuff with viruses so i re-formatted my computer....well..after i re-formated my computer i went to click on the fiesta launcher because usually when i reformat my computer the launcher still works fine.....so i click on it and this message comes up saying the file is corrupt or incomplete and reinstalling might fix the problem.....

so now i was like...weiiiiiird....but i was'ent that mad or anything.....i knew i would have to re download something...so yea....i go to program files and delete the outspark folder there then go to my add and delete programs and look for it but oddly enough its not there....so i was like...ok....so i get rid of fiesta completely and restart my computer...

next...when my computer comes back on....i open up Firefox and download the client....and i expected it to take like 2 hours.(as it normally does) but suprizeingly it did not even take a minute.....so i was like...ok...somethings not right here....so then i go to my desktop and click the launcher and do the i accept thing and then when it gets to where its supposed to be installing it ...it says something about downloading....and then it takes about 1 hour....

so then when its done it goes through the verification thingey it said something about this file is corrupted or damaged....so i was kinda ticked....so i do the whole thing over about 3 times and once today ....and get the same results.....also...i tryed the mirrors too...same thing...and its not a virus cuz i scanned my computer when i was done reformatting it.....also dont go saying that the game might just not work on my computer because its been playing fine untill i reformatted my computer...so...i got no more ideas...so plzz help...

you might try restoring an older version of your computer, (most have save points that you can go back to) if you have virus's dont use reformat, as reformating would delete your harddrive, so I think you meant defragment. Use a virus scanner, as defragmenting doesnt fix the virus problem, and it tends to move drivers and files around, causing programs to crash. Also, try add/remove program to delete your current version of fiesta and then try redownloading it. If that doesnt work, I think they have mirror downloads of the actual .exe instead of the client that downloads the .exe for you.

ok...first off.....when i get a virus....i dont defragment....or restor........i ushally just reformat my computer.....i do it every month or when ever i think my computer needs it......your actully susposed to do it regullary to keep a healthy computer.....all reformating does its cleans up your computer or so to say...gets rid of all the bad stuff....like wipes it clean...

Reformating CLEARS your harddrive or any other disk you choose. I doubt you are reformating, unless you like reinstalling your programs every month.
I just tryed reformating my c:/ drive and it even says "warning: all data will be erased"

YOu might be using Disk Cleanup, which still doesnt detect virus's. Download AVG (its free) and use that. Its (in my opinion and many people I know) the best free virus scanner on the web.

Ok....dbost...listen...i know what reformation does....yes...it clears your harddrive...i know..and yes...i do enjoy reinstalling my programs every month....i know what i am doing........and i have norton for securtiy.....and i just ran a virus scan today....so yea....

Cant get the game to install and run. The game isnt internet based, its a program (cliet sided) that communicates with outspark(server-side) If the client cant run, then what does having Internet have to do with this?

if you reformat your hard drive then all your system files get deleted. Your Operating system gets deleted. Everything GETS DELETED. I cant help you if you cant tell the difference. You describe a fragmenting error, and claim reformatting, which would do nothing to your games(which you wouldn't be able to open corrupted or not because everything is gone) being corrupted.

Ok...dude...i know what i do....ok....it says it will delete all data on this disk...not that it will delete the disk itself......why would they put a button on a computer that will do nothing but hurt the computer....use common sence...

do you relize what data is on your c:/ drive? your c:/ drive is your harddrive. And all your .DLL's and such are on your C:/.

thats sous problem, the game is corrupted and the one downloaded from the outspark site is "corrupted" since sous "formatted" sous harddrive.

and to drop norton (and most other pieces of software you might decide you don't like O.o) you can go to the change/remove programs application. It should be under either My Computer or Control Panel depending on what OS you're using. You shouldn't need to delete any folders in program files, as the change/remove programs thing does it for you. Which might explain why fiesta was missing in the first place?
Wait, if you reformatted your hard drive, how was there a fiesta folder in program files? Or am I thinking of something else?

yea...you were...but unfortunently it does not help my problem.....i got AVG and scaned my computer but yet it does not pick anything up....and the game is still not working!

I think I know the answer to your problem...DON'T DO SYSTEM RESTORE after you install the game...It probably resets all the registry entries the game has added.

You can't find the game in the Add/Remove programs because the registry entry has been deleted...but the game is still on your system. Go to program files, find the folder called 'outspark' and delete the whole folder before you try to re-install.

If you are going to do system restore every month o.0...create a new restore point after you install the game. System restore should only be done when you are having a problem with a program you recently installed...Doing it every month may cause you problems with recently installed programs that ARE working fine. But, what you SHOULD every once in a while is create a new SYSTEM RESTORE POINT (this is different from actually doing a system restore). Hope that helps.
