Erm, people don't sign up for Teva so much anymore... New users usually choose the topmost server for some reason. Have you noticed that Epith keeps sitting at Medium (and occasionally High) during peak hours while the rest of the servers are at Low? And I'm assuming that since Epith is newest, it's got the best hardware... So, you can imagine how many more people must be online at once there...

The problem is probably just that Teva's getting a bit long in the tooth. They probably need to do some "revitalization" to it. But that takes a LOT of testing to make sure they don't screw things up...

Also, stopping new signups doesn't help. I remember when another MMO that I used to play did that. All it did was fill the forum with "Why can't I make an account on the same server as all my friends?" threads. :(

Wow. I have a reputation... I feel special. :) Thanks! :) And I don't intend on disappearing for many months again... I'm getting annoyed enough that I can't play much since the maintenance the other day. :p

I can't say I've had the privilege of ever partying with you, that I can remember... Maybe when I get to a more respectable level, we should do so! :D

Yeah, if I remember correctly, Teva was the first server. I imagine that it's gotten the "required" love and maintenance over time, but if Outspark's like every other company on the planet, it probably could use some money thrown at making it purr again.

And that's certainly an unenviable situation... After all, they have 2 choices: 1) upgrade the existing hardware; or, 2) build a brand new Teva and move all the data over. #1 is prone to incompatibilities and #2 will require a LOT of testing and more downtime than #1 would...

Either way, all we can do is support Outspark so that they see that we love them enough to love us back. ;) After all, we want Teva to be their #1 choice for throwing resources at! :D

I'm refusing to level until I get the one last stupid Hob in MD. I've done MD more times than I can count now, and when people were sticking MD it was "just get them next time" and now it's "OMG! We're gonna die before he spawns hobs!" :(

Seriously, there needs to be a KQ where only people who have half a clue as to how to play can get in. I do pretty good damage for a 60 cleric using a 50 hammer (even if it's +9... *whistles innocently*), so why do I end up healing everyone and have my rev on constant cooldown? Seriously, if there are 2 clerics in the party, and the other one is a 4x, they shouldn't be attacking MD. And don't get me started on the squishies who don't know to get out of the way when he's going to AOE...

I'm seriously going to write a guide for "How to fail MD KQ" later. And it's all going to be stuff I see every time... Most of it applies to every KQ. :(

But that's enough ranting about noobishness. Once I get that one hob, I'll turn in quests and become 61. Then the leveling and grinding CP1 starts... I sense becoming less squishy so I can take on bats better in my immediate future... :D

And hopefully Spider KQ doesn't suck so bad. Even though I hate spiders in Fiesta. :(

The last MD I did earlier today... Everyone died, except for me and a mage. If the mage had listened to me and stayed out of AOE range, we probably would have beaten MD. We died when I tried revving and got Feared twice. :(

But with a T3 Vit scroll, MD's AOE doesn't really hurt me. And I can heal/stone whenever. I'm tempted to join an MD with just like 1 pt of people I know and ignore the other people there. Let them die and we can finish off MD ourselves. *evil grin*

Seriously, MD isn't that tough. You just have to have a clue to stay alive and beat him. You're a 4x? Stay away from AOE. You're a cleric? Better be doing some good damage if you're not healing. You're squishy? Pretend you're a 4x and see above... And if your cleric is taking time out of healing to tell you a "BTW, you may wish to come over here for a sec and take this Vitality scroll I'm dropping for you" or something similar, it makes sense to listen. :(

But yeah. Enough ranting. I'm just annoyed that 15 levels and I couldn't get the first step of the quest chain done due to lametards. :(

As for your Join Date, I suspect that it didn't get recorded properly and shows up as a "0". Which would correlate to what's known as "the epoch (http://unixepoch.com/)". (January 1, 1970 00:00 GMT) Since Outspark is in the Pacific time zone (GMT -08:00), this would be December 31, 1969 at 4:00 PM. I'm sure that Outspark could fix it manually if it really bugs you. ;)

That usually means that it's restarting. Give it a few minutes and see if it goes offline/maintenance/low. When they're poking at it, it spends a lot of time at High and is unconnectable. I'm sure you've been around enough to have seen it enough times on Teva before... ;)

It's weird to me that they don't just toggle Teva into Maintenance mode... It appears that they have the ability... Take a look at "%PROGRAMFILES%\Outspark\Fiesta\resmenu\account\Acc ount_SvList.tga" in Photoshop (or other half-decent graphics program...). Then we don't keep getting our hopes up by seeing High and Low. :(

If we only see Offline and Maintenance, then yeah... We'll get the hint and pound on it less... ;)

Got kicked killing goblins and they're still down... Noticed someone was complaining about KQ's. Care if I join?

I have the WORST possible unrealistic luck when it comes to KQ's. Being that I'm a Cleric, I can get into quite a few pickles.

1. Being the ONLY cleric in a KQ of 15 people.
2. Having Newb Tanks that don't know how to keep agro off the clerics.
3. Having no runners when the Dungeon Boss comes out. Never been in a KQ where someone runs Robo.
4. 12 Year Olds, enough said.

Any pointers for a cleric in KQ's?

Yes, avoid them. ;) Seriously, I'm about at that point. I was sole cleric a few times in Honeying... And I did more dmg than anyone else... Almost enough to make you wonder if level 20 job change is too easy... :P

And "running" indicates Robo. My advice? Be the runner. Seriously. My experience is that clerics and archers are the only 2 classes which can do it without sucking. ;) Just wait till you get to MD KQ if you don't like Robo... Hopefully the lametards will have given up on it by then.

xO I know what you mean xD It's terrible being the only cleric in a kq D: They make you do terrible things xP
1. I've had to tank MD before since the other fighters who wanted to "tank" couldn't get along deciding which party I should go in...
2. D: ugh when I try to be a good cleric and the tank has no sense of aggro, >.< Death! xD
3. I'm 13 xD They can't expect everything of the younger players :) We try our best though.

Now before I go in a kq I look for the regulars. xD If I see a tank that knows what he/she's doing, yeah, I'll join the kq. Sometimes I just ask a friend to come along too ^^ Or if your married on fiesta, you can always have your spouse come along :D I always force mine too.

You can always keep a t3 def in your inventory if things get worse in a kq x3 That's what I did for a while. Or if your a cash shop user you can cheat and get charms xD

You can only do your best. Make it known that you're the only cleric so people help out as best as they can, make sure you have the most important people in your party, and do your best to keep track of EVERYONE's health by targeting them all as often as you can.

2. Having Newb Tanks that don't know how to keep agro off the clerics.
Why would you not want aggro? Clerics are awesome tanks, and it's much easier to heal when it's yourself that you need to heal. Spam Rejuvenate and Heal on yourself to try to hold the aggro. If you actually have difficulty staying alive when things are attacking you... Add more endurance.

The only problem is when enemies are attacking lots of different people - in those situations, use stones and potions to keep yourself alive while healing everybody else, make great use of Invincible (you have it saved for emergencies, right?), and if absolutely necessary, let the least important people die.
