whats wrong with this quest?

Ok, i'm trying to do the create new hammer quest. It says I need 10 haidrins, 10 helins, and 10 clorens, I have 10 hydrin, 10 cloren, and 10 hellyn. But the ore refiner says that I don't have the stuff needed. What is wrong? Really aggrevating because I was lazy and bought the stuff. Can someone tell me whats wrong?

Just stick it into storage and wait until its fixed...it might take a few days or weeks, but it will get fixed.

Annnd if you don't want to wait I'll happily take them off your hands...

Question; did you have the items in your inventory already before you took on the quest, or did you accept the quest, get the items, then come back?

Occasionally I've run across a quest, usually a repeatable one, where I accepted the quest with the items already in inventory, and it glitched for me. Putting the items in my hotel, deleting the quest, getting the quest again, then retrieving the items from storage usually fixed things for me.

This is ONLY a suggestion. I take no responsibility if you delete the quest and can't get it back, so think carefully about your options.

I didnt have the items before I accepted the quest. I just got the stuff a few hours ago when I posted the topic and I have had the quest for over a day now.

Wait isn't the magic stick, and the magic hammer, a 2-part quest? Also last time I checked you needed 15 of each. When I did it it was 15 hydrins, 15 hellyns, 15 clorens. Part 2 had me get the enchanter 15 nitrines.

It says 10, and gives the next moon at 10. I'll try deleting the quest.

i am doing a quest that i need 30 fairy power, my lvl is 67 i have been doing it for 2 lvls. but i have not got any fairy power form the monsters.i don,t get any exep%.i need the fairy power to finsh the quest. i have kill about 250 monsters,and i don,t get anything for them. ty willowart

I just did the quest "Creation of the Brand New Hammer 1/2."

I talked to Ore Refiner in Brynhilld . He asked me to bring him 10 hydrins
10 hellyns, and 10 clorens. After collecting the items. I returned back to him and talked to him. After doing so I was able to finish that part of the quest and move onto "Creation of the Brand New Hammer 2/2." For part two all i did was collect 15 Nitrine and talked to him again and i was able to finish part two of the quest

The odds of receiving a drop from an enemy decrease as you out-level said enemy. The Fire Fairies/Devil Fairies/Ice Fairies that drop the powder are all around level 40, so at level 67 you are extremely unlikely to get drops for them and you will get literally no experience. You can buy fairy powder from player shops or, if you're low on Kron, the only other way to get it (aside from a hook-up from a friend) would be to make an alternate character and start hunting the fairies once you level into the mid-30s. You only need 10 of each for the quest but you have to have 20 of each with you when you show up to complete the quest.
