Whats so cool about archer?

So i have noticed that like there are so many archers and stuff compared to other classes and i want to ask they question why are there so many? I mean why do ppl think they should pick this class over others? What makes this class special?

The way I see it is that everyone chooses scout because they can't wait until level 66 for rouge. >.> I personally am going to get a scout because archery is cool.

I think people established that scout/archers are a powerful class to use it utilized and built the right way, and its the combo of speed n power that make us irresistable.

<.< scout is boring enough to grind.. i don't see any variety in skill apart from the speed and damage.. I made my scout uber enough to cast with fast speed and high damage but it still is boring.. No wonder it is not famous in Xenepic coz it is the most boring class.. I bet they will use ankle bind wind blow till 175.. Lucky that we have horror mask.. Without it, i'm sure archer will level slow..

1.WE rule in power
2.ppl always wont to pt with us
3.We can save kron

Archer is interesting for me cause of the range attack and mostly speed!

As I made mine, I did find wielding a bow being something more fun than swinging a sword or a dagger a thousand times! In party, I enjoy going in the front line and set the pace for the party since I hate wasting time! I'm a grinderaholic!!! ^.^

Oh and I hate solo! There is nothing boring than solo for me! I rather duo or party with my friends. If you see me solo, must be because I'm bored or that I want to stay in my bubble for a while xDD!

Agrees totally, think how bad they would be without the horror mask, they are really boring to lvl up as well. They have no variation in skills at all. Although they are the easiest class to lvl up, sense they can solo and duo a lot.

you dont save that much money on being an archer! i find that i can make more money with like a knight or assassin both of which i also have. I make way more aoeing than with my archer. And i would like to say that my archer can solo aoe chant if i want to so i can tank. But i have uber gear :D

Im trying to level my neo to rouge but no such luck because they kill slow and thats boring.Shooting arrows gets repetitive but it never gets boring xD. Archers..well...this is some of the reasons why people picked archers

1. Sexy >>;
2. Fast Attacks
3. Long Ranged
4. Better Defense than Mage & any other long ranged character
5. Bow >>;;;
6. 4th Class looks effin' Hawt :D
7. Andd....hard blows o_o;;


All I could think of lol. Archers have a combo of fast rapid attacks & hard blows as well...I just don't like their AoEing skill >>; Reticle Trap, you have to click the floor...Brambleway...sometimes misses and what not x_x;;;

[I suggest you to buy a 30day mask & 30day Cloak of Love if you can get your hands on SC. Also, buy a 100% booster so you can get to lvl 80 quicker.]

Yup! I agree in that part! Every class grinding is sorta boring, but at least archer is the less boring one!

Skill variation .. i use like 7-8 diferent skills when grinding, to solo high lvl maps which can b very fun n challenging. How many skills do aoers use? not exactly varied either, and any class can get boring to grind if like do the same thing all the time. If ur bored of grinding best way i find to hav fun while grinding is to party with friends.
With the new masks -+15+-shield- i think aoers have it easiet to lvl up. specially more so when they reach a lvl that they can aoe library.

Archerhood probably is better than scouthood.. Archers have very hax damage and hax speed.. They are overpowered.. They become more overpowered with new bows.. They have high defense too.. Overall, they are overpowered and developer should take the speed and the damage away.. LOL jk jk..

Anyway, I second the argument above.. Without cloak of love, Knights cannot AoE Edine at 8X.. Back then without cloak of love, only one knight was able to AoE Edine and that was Enix with +6 gears and he still got hit more than 1 damage.. And now with addition of mask, this allows aoer class to level faster than expected and will cause more imbalance with the game especially to magic user like Magician.. :( They should ban all the masks and cloak of love.. LOL :p

u hate it...well think about if u didnt have it? jeez..i remember those days...was hard to lvl hitting so uber low. LOL

and to add to cay's post...we dont have variation in skill, but who does? we probably wind blow all our exp, but knights/warriors aoe with wild swing...templars with deadlock...rogues/sins with circle trap...atleast with archers, we have variation, with ankle, wb, phantom, poison, stone edge, etc. XD aoer's just hit that aoe hotkey...now wheres the variation in that? >.>
