I just downloaded the game, I am a big fan of RPG's but do not have any consoles at the moment.
Anything I should know about?
Is there a better race to pick?
Thanks.

I like this forum style also.
I can see I will be spending a lot of time around here.
Seriously though folks, have some patience with me.As I read some of the threads I see that most of you are quite advanced, and a n00b like muhself would appreciate a starting kick in teh ****.
BTW, is this game navigable with a mouse? Or would I be better suited with a controller?
Thanks.

There is only one race in Secret of the Solstice, though we have four different base classes to choose from:
Squires - melee fighter class - best defence and good offence
Neophytes - melee thief class - high dodge rate and good offence
Acolytes - healer class - all around support and healing
Apprentice - spellcaster class - ranged attacks and good offence
To get to one of these classes you must become level 16, though the in-game tutorials will help you get to level 10 with relative ease.
Have fun and welcome to Xen!
EDIT: Yes this game is designed for mouse-based movement and functionality, though we have WASD keyboard movement as a recently added feature. Also if you wish to add something to your inquiry we ask that you use the edit function, rather than double post.

I was looking at some videos of the game and it looks like that other popular MMORPG.
I can't wait for it to finish DL'ing.
Thank you for the quick response.
And if I have anymore questions AFTER I start the game I'll add them to this thread.
Thanks again Bella.

Also from the Alcolyte class you can decide to become a cleric at lvl 66 or you can go another direction and become a Templer at lvl 45 which is an assist healer that has more of a tanker/fighter direction.
With the Neo class you can decide to change to a Rogue at lvl 66 or you can become a Scout at lvl 45
*edited cause I put the wrong lvls in there *smacks forehead LOL*

I download the one gig plus file, go to install it and I keep getting this prompt.
My computer was assembled in 2006, I run XP home and have an ATI Radeon xpress 200.
Here is a SS of my problem.
Thanks again folks.

Should I go to Cnet and download another version?
I keep getting this prompt, I don't understand what the problem is.
I can't even start the game because of this crap.Quite frustrating.
Is there a problem thread I'm missing or something?
Thanks.

Please edit your post, as our Terms of Service does not allow you to write out the names of any other game besides Outspark-related games...
Sorry to be nit-picky but if you don't get this message in time no doubt a CL will edit it for you.

EDIT: By the way, you are not alone in your observation, myself included, many people have said the same thing! xD

resorted? Fiesta is not bad at all if you like 3D games. Plus they have a WAAAY better enhance system and cash shop.

okay if this is here to help then can u make Ninjas in the game and Samurai's oh and to wear anything u want like if ur an aco you could wear fighters uniform it seems like no one understands me...
I don't know why you are trying to confuse the mind of a dear xenian, but stop...and your siggy's oversized
>>on topic
Well, u may feel that this game a bit dull or lacks variaty but hey, the community's the greatest; once you drop the shyness and get to know them...
Sots's like a country, do not appear very advanced, but warm and smug...full of warm things and easy to control...while fiesta's like a city, advanced but full of complexities and annoying things...goldspammers with masses of bsing
