my friend told me to try this RPG but..... i cant download it correctly or is it because im on a mac laptop?

It does not work with mac.
Do you have an intell mac? If so, you can get bootcamp from apples website, which with windows xp install disk, will allow you to run Windows only games. If not you could try crossover, but it isn't compatible with most games.
