When I bring up the launcher, it allows me to put my user name and password in, then .... nothing. The game doesn't boot up. I have all the required system "stuff".
Any ideas???
Thanks!

I find that I have the same problem, I enter my User Info and click play, then a new window pops up for less than a second and the whole thing closes.

Do either of you have a firewall?
Also, what kind of system specs do you have? (RAM, Graphics Card, Operating System, etc). These might be playing a factor in the issue.

Only thing that;ll help you is a new computer... a Pentium 2 440MHZ???
Minimum specs are a P4 1.6 or equivelant and 512 meg of ram.
Your video card and Direct X are good bit your processor and memory are WAY under the minimum

For one its still a comp no matter how you put it..And for a comp that not up to date..The game still works fine. Not to mention I have FFXI and WoW installed on my cpu also..So suck on theses nuts

Well good for you, want a cookie?
Those games might be installed, but there is NO chance they will run.

I agree with you on this. There is honestly no need to upgrade your computer for an MMO. Most of the games are running basicly direct x 7 graphics. This includes WoW and FFXI . Until companies start doing some real psychics, we will be stuck on the single di cpu.
BTW, i've heard people running wow and ffxi on 300 mhz computers. It runs fine.
Only games you truely need to upgrade your CPU for are FPS. Unless your a big FPS fan, there is absolutly no need to upgrade your computer.
PS. Bioware is comming out with an MMO in the future. So, with the game mass effect comming out for 360. I would imagine they would use the same standard for their future mmo.
