do most go for potion & stone production skill? or stone and scroll? what do archer normally go for?

Hmm mostly people actually go for Potion and Scroll from what Ive seen.

Its certaintly the easiest combo to handle not to mention you can play through the game fine without upgrading a weapon.

Im already Lv 30 and Ive never upgraded a weapon once ever. I always sell my stones but however scrolls are a must. Def and Vit scrolls are a must and will keep you alive in places like Collapsed Prison and Uruga. You should start using Scrolls frequently in Moonlight Tomb onwards. The enemies from there onwards can deal nasty damage to you X_X

Think of stone production as something to take up on an alt character down the line as it requires a bit more investment than most skills.

I would suggest at least started in scroll as was said as this is a very popular and time consuming skill that will definitely benefit you in the field and when needing money.

I personally started with a scroll making and potion making. Potions I keep to myself, the scrolls I sell alot of. My other character is a stone maker. The stone maker makes money fast, because stones are cheaper and the scroll maker makes money slower. But the stones bring in less money then the scroll maker, I can set out a shop all night with scrolls and make a few silver and still have some left over. I set up a shop for half an hour with elrue and it was gone but I only made less then 2 silver. So its really a matter of what you want to buy from others and how fast you want to sell things
