Guild question

I know I've read around a little about guilds and Guild Wars but is there an option to opt-out of being able to be warred against if you're a creator of a guild or is it an off/on option?

You get to pick whether you want it to be a Guild War guild or just a guild to mingle and chillax with your friends.
Creator gets to pick which ones.
and i doubt he is able to change it after guild is created
