The GMs have helped a lot during the game and I would like to see if you people really appreciate thier hard work, and the effort they put into making this game fun for all =D

The GM's in this game have a great sense of humor, thats one thing I love about them. I hate when GM's are silent and never spawn to be known unless needed. It's better to go with the crowd in my opinion. They do help you, especially with gold sellers spamming. Charm and skill, although the fact that they are godly, each one has their own special thing. So thats one thing I love. For example, Kaalan. [This is not sarcasm don't think it is] Although he may be mad that I call him FireHoseMan, I know that he doesn't REALLY hate me XD I just joke around, and he does too, by summoning dragons on me :D Isn't he nice? I know its awesome! And I love him <333 Steam also <333

I dont think its practical to say there is a "perfect GM".

Is there a perfect anything? Do GM's not strive to improve? How can they improve if they're already perfect ...

and it also depends what the 1-10 rating is for, GM's personality? communication skills? proficiency in doing their jobs?

I agree with Anarchy. The poll is kinda vague on what qualities of the GMs we are supposed to be voting on.

Charm, personality, generosity and effort are kind of unrelated to their job requisites. Actions speak louder than words, and most of what a GM physically does is behind the scenes, such as programming and moderating. There is rarely situations where GM's will supply their personal input, allowing viewers to evaluate their personality and what kind of person they are.

Also when you say skill, how do you mean? Gameplay skill? or skill as a GM? wondering what kind of skill a GM needs o_O

and personally, I'd rather a cold/silent/invisible GM who gets the job done, than a loudspoken/charismatic/ GM who is friendly and chats a lot with players, but never gets any issues/problems fixed.

Well I agree with you slightly.

Since a GM is a Public Figure, they do need to be skillful in working with players.

They have to have Many qualities.

Charisma - to deal with some issues that need a finer touch, rather then Banning people without care. (Its ok Kaalan, I am not saying you shouldnt ban people. I know how much fun you have doing it LOL)

Trouble Shooting/Solving - If it be in game or if its User Error

Intelligent - So players feel that they know what they are talking about, and to come up with fresh ideas for Events.

I could make this list longer, but I think you can see what I mean.

Now sure, if I was given a choice of 1 or the other, then Yes I would choose the Silent/Invisible one, BUT I would prefer a well rounded GM, who is a little of both sides.

I seriously wouldn't like a cold/silent GM, invisible I can understand. When a GM shows and talks with others, it gives more to the environment. At least to me it does. You get to meet those people behind the keyboard. Aside from getting to make friends in the game, GM's too can become your friend. The GM's in this game do get the job done, and though they can't be on 24/7, they try to get rid of gold spammers and host events, talk to people, all at the same time. I've only seen at most 2 GM's on at the same time.

There are probably a loooooot more than I've seen. I only know 5 GM's so far that I've seen in game. Kaalan, Steam, Dakkon, Pie, and Biski. I'm sure there are more that work behind the scenes, so not all GM's show themselves. Well anyways my point is that them having humor makes a game fun. When someones see's a GM they're all like "OMG! It's a GM! Blah blah blah" Yeah ok we know he/she's a GM, it says it in their name. They can do more stuff than us, but they are still human beings. Talk to them like you would to anyone, by the way don't get around the filtered words or you'll get banned lol

I agree with anarchy that some of these are unrelated to a GM's job. Charm and skill would probably be the most. The other three are fine. I already know their personality is the best, great humor and I love that :] Generosity, they always help me, well when I ask questions they answer them. I don't ask for personal stuff like "I want buffs!" or "Can I have a chest spawn?" something like that. That's just selfish and they have enough to deal with lol In effort, I do believe they take the time to do what they have to do. Any other efforts unseen can't be rated since they're not shown :]

Cold/silent GM's No thanks. If I ever meet a cold GM, that's the end of the game for me. Simple as that. A silent GM, I'll only understand if they're asked for selfish things like items or a buff. But when someone really needs help for example "Steam, May I ask why C l a s s is filtered?" Then they stay silent. Talk please! :O Not being annoying I just need to know.

Note: Steam did answer me that question, it was just an example. His answer was that there was a bug in the program, but they are working on it. Not quoting since I don't know exactly what he said XD

And since I know I'm gonna get flamed by anarchy for this, just gonna let you know I'm not flaming you, just stating my opinion, and can you at least TRY not to look for something negative?

This is the first F2P MMORPG I've seen a GM not only spawn monsters in starter areas & talk/answer questions,but also ban gold spammers quickly. (they're in for a long fight though)
Needless to say that's impressive for a F2P MMORPG,if not ANY MMORPG.

The ones I've seen (Kalaan and Dakkon) have done some cool little things like spawn mobs besides just running events. My only comment/suggestion is to have a more 24/7 presence on each server.

i have seen one other GM, GM Steam. First Time I saw him, was the day of the Talk like Pirate day.

Before he even came in, we started with the Theme of Gilligan (With his own Remix of it LOL)
Then Banned all of the gold spammers.

I've never seen a GM before in-game. I probably won't be meeting one anytime soon though. All I do is open store in Roumen to sell stuffs, 5 minutes before KQ I relogin and prepare my character thats going to participate KQ before I return to Roumen and set up my shop again. :D
