Hey hey everybody!

Just have a short question...

What lic is best at what lvl?

I know your lvl 60 weapon could use a greenkie or lizardman license from the repeatable quests alone, and the 30s are okay with a magic staff lic or a hob or ghost lic. But what about the other lvl ranges? My chara is now lvl 40 and i would like to do a lic on the +9 wep so which one would be best? And after that what lics should i train?

Hopefully someone can answer that question for me...

And before i forget it...my alt is a cleric...is it even smart to train a lic with that class?

At level 40, if you can afford scrolls and stuff, try a harkan license. My brother, when he was level 40 (yes, he's a cleric), maxed one of them for a +4% critical bonus. King Coll and Goblin licences work well too, except Goblins are only +3% when maxed.

Yes yes, harkans are the most popular.
They take long to max out, but it'll be worth it.

On level 50 my license on my cleric is King Coll, it give good experience but since a do a lot of abyss then have not completed it but it is a good license.

I am doing coll license on my mage at the moment.

You get your first Harkan quest at lvl 48 but begin killing (or be killed by) them a soon as you venture into Collapsed Prison on your way to Goblin Camp. That is one of the best licenses to place on a lvl 40 weapon to work on as you progress up through to lvl 50. Just don't discount the numerous goblin camp (lvl 4X questing grounds) licenses that will be nearly completed by lvl 50 also. The Goblin lic, when completed gives a 3% crit bonus and is probably the easiest one to complete of the goblin camp licenses available. While you are questing in Goblin Camp, you will also be working on your Harkan license, so that by the time you have actual quests for them, you should already have a significant amount of credit toward completion (and additional damage to help you with your kills).
I loaned a wand out to a friend that had the Harkan and another lic. on it and by the time she was finished with the wand it was nearly 50% complete. That's a decent pay back.

As to your question about training a license on a cleric weapon...My main is a cleric (TEFLON)Epith, and it is really hard to kill in the volumes needed to score much on a license. Yes, I have licensed every weapon I've used because I have found myself solo hunting quite often, but I've not yet completed a license on any cleric weapon.

Best license would probably be one that gives 5% critical bonus when finished but the easiest one you can finish for your lvl. But you're abit too low lvl (40 I think) for 5% critical bonus licenses so... I agree with Harkan. ^^

Similar idea but a bit off subject:

Which lisenses increase the critical of the weapon itself after completion?

I know Gold Slime is 1% critical added to the weapon (not the mob), and Orc and Blue Trumpie grant 5%. What about others (I've never finished any license except for Mara Pirate Elite and Ratman)

here - http://fiestafan.com/wiki/Licenses - u can find all info about licenses - how many %% it give, how many mobs u should kill, titles, etc

and... since u can work on license in party (it became available after one of the latest patches) u can add any license on ur wep
for 40+ lv cleric it is not too hard to find a party to kill archon juniors, orcs or orc hunters - these licenses will give 5% crit
if u working solo then harkan or king call license (i started to work with harkan license on my cleric at 37 or 38lv) - these licenses will give 4% crit

also not bad licenses for 30-40 lvls are goblin and goblin swordman - 3%

for higher 20s and 30 lvls - hobs - 2%

for 20s - baby bats and gold slimes are the best

15-20 - grave robbers or kebings

the best licenses are those of the monsters available in plenty...so that the licenses complete quickly....

lvl 15-20...mara pirate & para pirate elite
lvl 20-30...baby bats & gold slimes
lvl 30-40...hobs,ghosts & baby werebears
lvl 40-50...goblins & werebears
lvl 50-60...harkan & karasian soldier[karasian soldier license is really very rare...]
lvl 60-70...archon junior,pixy & orc hunter
lvl 70+...umm...experienced people may help...

Before 4% Licenses they are certainly not worth the trouble since you should speed through those levels really quickly on quests alone.

I like the following:

CP Licenses: Harkans, King Colls, Vampire Bats, Weakened Ogres
All of these are great as they have quests associated with them some repeatable not to mention you can start killing them as early as level 25 with certain characters (Clerics mainly). I would avoid soloing the Colls as a Mage.

Uruga Licenses: Archon Junior, Pixies, Orcs, Karasian Soldier
The archons and Pixies are the typical AoE license since they don't stun you like a Orc and they are close together in Dark Passage. The Orc license is what other classes tend to do and it seems fine as a solo thing. People also like doing the Orc license from very early on because they tend to give good XP for the effort. Karasian soldiers are relatively new but in places like Dark Passage they are great for AoE so long as you don't mind the Templars. I don't recommend the King Mushrooms or Orc Hunters because there are always people AoEing or otherwise questing on them, although you could go to CP1 for Orc Hunters but no mover is kind of lame.

AeW, CP1 Licenses: Navar, Blue Clover Trumpie
Both are quite easily AoEable and the Navars are part of a repeat quest. Clerics used to like the Navar because they were secluded and no one used to bother them. What is important about both of these is that you can pull just the select monsters without too much crossover from different types of mobs.

FoS, CP2 Licenses: Ancient Stonie, Sylph, Orc Captain, Lizard Knight
All of these are again very easy to isolate from other monsters. The Ancient Stonies hit really slowly so they are ideal to just duo a Mage and a Cleric. The Sylphs are not to be soloed unless you are a Cleric on account of their Status Effects but again you can isolate just Sylphs in your AoE pulls which improves the speed of the license. The Lizard Knight license is one that you can easily find a party for on account of the repeat quest but they are much tougher than the other 3 monsters here. Orc Captains are best left to Archers in CP2 since they have plenty of room to run and will not pull the Spade Trumpies that are with them in FoS.

BR, Flaming Mine Licenses: Magmaton, Red Nix
No point in doing Fire Nix or Moles since you will pass those levels by relatively fast. I also don't think it is good to do Jewel Trees or Kidmon, the repeat quest be damned since you can't easily AoE them as they are Magical and Ranged monsters. Really I don't really enjoy the Red Nix myself but you can AoE them and help people out who need to do the repeat quest at the same time. The undead type mobs always hang out with different types of their friends and hit obscenely hard. The ideal license is the Magmaton license since you can pull very large groups of these on your mover or as an archer without too much fear of getting quickly killed at range.

I'm a level 33 fighter, and I', at 90% of the first stage of a Harkan license :3

They're very fun to kill =D (And lots of exp x_x)

Lvl 20 glow wolves baby bats gold slimes lvl 30 ghosts hobs or tomb foxs lvl 40 harkon lvl 50 orc lic lvl 60 blue or red trump lic idk about 70 i guess acient stonies would be good and lvl 80 since you have to kill hundreds of jewel trees i would guess a jewlel tre lic but idk haven't gotten there yet
