Mage causes stun?

Sorry for double posting this but no replies in other thread in Apoline forum.

I was in the Lv2x abyss yesterday with my archer and attacked and killed by a mage who had the ability to stun me, can someone please explain how this is possible?

Mages cannot stun at all. Fighter must have been behind you.

Maybe the mage had the skill bug? Where you can get skills of other classes?

No there was no fighter, and no I was not dreaming(thanks for the useless post sh4d0wkid). It did look like he did a fighter attack, but I've never played a fighter so I don't know if that was devastate or what. I don't play with sound either so couldn't hear if it was a fighter skill he was using(if there is even a sound associated with it). Should this mage be allowed to continue exploiting this bug if indeed that's what happened?

It sounds like the skill crossover bug, take a screenie of it and send it in. Even if its not reportable (which it may still be as the exploitation of a bug), its still a bug that needs reporting just to remind outspark that it exists.

Edit: And the highest skill fiestafan.com/wiki lists for mages is a thunder bolt attack, obtainable at lvl 100 and going up to 120. So as of right now, no 'mage stun' exists. I would say they have a similar attack in fear...seeing as you can't use your skills, but that wouldn't be present in the lvl 20 abyss.

Hmmm.... sounds a litte fishy to me. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be imagining it and if there was another player there behind him (a fighter) I think he would have noticed. Maybe you should message a GM on here or possibly fiesta help? If someone is exploiting a bug this serious I don't think they should get away with it. Hope I helped ya some :P

I took the liberty of correcting some of your mistakes. You could also just believe that the skill switch bug exists, as this is not the first time we've encountered it in the forums. Don't be so pessimistic, people are less likely to respect you for being an outright skeptic for no good reason.

Gee, I thought I was being pleasant. Just wanted to establish that the person using the skill bug, if that's what it was, decided to join the thread and feign innocence. I'm not going to start a flame war here, I just want to be able to enjoy the game and play it fairly. What happened last night was neither fair or enjoyable.

I don't see how accusing someone of making a thread simply for attention isn't out of line. The bug is well known, and the odds of this person having encountered it aren't that improbable. Respond with 'jerk things' to me in PM if you wish...I don't mind.

@Greeny- I know you aren't intending to start anything, but I wanted to make sure it didn't go anywhere :) If you do encounter the problem again, take a screenie and send it to Fiesta_help if for no other reason than to remind them that the bug still exists and needs to be dealt with.

Well we have mage and cleric cross over in forum before, there will be possibility that someone have mage and fighter cross over and did not report.

Don't mean to necro this thread, but I made a fighter over the weekend and that mage had the same animation for concussive charge when he stunned me. Haven't had it happen again so no screenshots available to post.

Mages can only stun in the Korea version of fiesta there the lightning attacks stun here they only do extra damage and i don't think at lvl 100 they are gonna let mages keep that aoe stun cause we are pretty strong now and whenever Gms use it in PVP1 2 or 3 i've never seen a single person with the stars over their head

Naw there is this hack or glitch or w/e that allows skills to be swapped from a current character to another character on the same account. I just found the video i took of a mage stunning me in pvp1 like 4 months ago. I'll post it up in a bit.
