Have you activated the skill itself before trying to activate the scroll? Press the "K" key to bring up a menu, look at the production skills button near the bottom and click on it. A menu of 6-8 different options should pop up with 2 supposedly blank boxes at the very top. If one of those boxes has a scroll in it, then you've got step 1 down. The other reason it may not be activating is because you need skill experience to match that scroll level you have (ex: 100 skill exp).

I have the same problem and I've already selected stone and scroll. It still won't let me produce anything.

you need to buy recipes from Skill Master Ruby then read the books by right clicking them after you exit the shop.

Skills you can learn will be yellow in the production window.
Skills you have learned will be blue in it.

i have a question, i have scroll production, but it wont let me make any scrolls and i skill master ruby doesnt have the skill i want. can u help me?

Here's what you do:
1. Open shop window for Skill Master Ruby
2. Click the "Alchemy Skill" button (or whatever it's called, the third one)
3. Click the RIGHT ARROW at the bottom of the shop window.
4. Buy the scroll skill
5. Close shop window
6. Right click the scroll skill in your inventory
7. Make scrolls :)
