The Story of Hemel

It all started when I read one of my guild member story which inspired my typing a story. The character's name in this story is from members of SoSick. For all your die hard fans, I'm working on a story about Hemel's epic adventures :D. The setting is before this one with lots of action.



Chapter 1

Off in a distant a church is burning. The night sky filled with grayish smoke. Some villagers stood and watch in grief, some hastily tries to put the fire out. It was 10:00 A.M. and Lina should have been woken up 3 hours ago, for church. Linda put on her Sunday’s dress and went down the wooden stairs. Lina can hear her mother speaking to Ms. Ren; their next door neighbor.
“I wonder who could’ve have started the fire last night.” said Ms. Ren. The smell of the honey cinnamon bun lured Lina into the kitchen.
“Lina the buns is still hot; let them chill.” After it was chilled; her mother sat with her and had breakfast with Lina and her father.
“Well, I think church will be canceled for a year. I’m sure the church in the new part of town don’t have the capacity for all us.”
“Father, where can I take my piano lesson now?” Lina requested.
“Renji, I’m sure she can continue her piano lesson from the new church.
“Fleta, I guess you’re right,” Said Renji.
“Okay, Lina you go to the new church in town and ask the priest for your lessons,” said Fleta.
Lina made her way to the new part of town. The new part of town houses were made of bricks and was painted in bright colors. It was more alive than the old part of town; smiths hammering away and children swimming in the local artisan’s fountain.
Lina walked up the outside church’s step; suddenly a bunch of kids came running towards her and they accidentally pushed her. Lina tries to balance herself but she continue to fall backwards. Then something had caught her; a tall blue haired man.
“Children is very playful this Sunday afternoon. You ought to be more careful” said the blue haired man.
“They came at me quite fast,” said Lina.
“What brings you here in this warm afternoon?” Said the blue haired man.
“I’m here to request piano lesson from this church because the church from the old part of town burned last night.” Explained Lina.
“I’ve heard of that event. You’re in luck; I’m the piano teacher of this church.” The blue haired man said happily.
They went into the church. Some people where praying to the blue-ivory statue of a Mary. The church was much more larger compare to the old part of town’s church. Lina looked up and saw paintings of angels above.
“Let me introduce myself, my name is Hemel. We can start your piano lesson now, Lina.”

Chapter 2



“How do you know my name, when I have not inform you of it?” Questioned Lina.
“I just had a feeling that your name was Lina. I guess I’m correct,” responded Hemel.
He started the lesson off, with my playing the song “Mary had a little lamb”. Three hours has elapsed and he dismissed me with his math.
“A good three hours a day, every Sunday afternoon, and your piano lesson will be done by the end of this summer.”
I made my way back home, passing through busy housewives carrying basket full of food to prepare for dinner. I got to the steps of my house and out hustle Cody.
“Lina!” Yelled Cody. “Big sister, where have you been all day!”
I replied, “I will tell you at dinner; I’m starving!”
Cody hastily set the plats onto the table and everyone sat down. I bite into this triangular bead ornate with cheese, vegetable, and meat. I’ve never had this dish before and my mom had gotten this new recipe from Ms. Ren.
“Mommy, this is yummy!” Said Cody.
“It is called ‘supreme pizza’ pumpkin, said mom. Lina how did your request to the priest went like?”
“I didn’t meet the priest but I met the piano teacher, he said it was alright that I can continue my lesson,” said Lina. The next day Lina awoke with trumpets playing loudly outside her house. Cody got Lina to step outside and watch.
“Welcome, knight Kronos and Zelph!” Said the announcer.
“Villagers of Torah, we are recruiting new knights! King Nickdaltro had provide us with gold to train new knights. We will need healthy young boys to join,” Said Kronos.
Cody whispered to Lina’s ears, “I want to train to become a knight!” Cody ran into the house and got his parents’ permission. He signed his name onto the rolled brown paper.
“Training will be starting 6:00 A.M tomorrow. Sleep early and fill your bellies fully,” said Zelph.
Cody stuffed himself with turkey leg and rice that evening. He woke up excited finish his whole plate till its last crumb and didn’t hug mother like usual when he went off. He came to the knight’s training grounds, a large wide open grassed field. Kronos was calling out names to check if they were present.
“Okay young knights in-training! You guys would each be given a wooden sword and a shield,” said Zelph.
“Okay, lads your first attack you will be learning is ‘slice and dice’. Your right foot in front of the left about 2 inches away from each other. Move your sword swiftly from left to right in a crossing matter,” instructed Kronos.
“Your shield is use to block blows from opponent; use it wisely,” said Zelph.

Chapter 3


When Cody arrived home, he ate twice as much than he usually eat.
“My baby boy have grown up!” Complained mother. “Here is a bowl of fish, pumpkin; they have lots of protein!”
Cody didn’t like to eat fish and so he gave to our cat Neko. Neon our other cat, quickly ran towards Neko and stanched the fish away from her. My next piano lesson came with chores.
“Lina, I need you to help me gather flowers and herbs; to decorate the church,” said Hemel.
I randomly set vase full of flowers around the church.
“Lina, the piano isn’t a table,” said Hemel.
“Yes, that does make the piano look more like a table than a piano. Why are we decorating the church?” Lina questions.
“We are hosting an welcoming party for our neighbors. Why not you play the piano for this bash?” Said Hemel.
“I never performed in front to an audience, sure,” replied Lina.
“Deal, I will pay you one gold for your service,” said Hemel.
“That is a large amount of money, it nearly how much I spend in a year!” Lina said amazingly.
I came home and saw Neko and Neon cuddling together on top of my dress. I gentling move them from my velvet a-line dress.
“Lina, you here right in time!” Hemel said. “Meet one of our new members of the village, Telos and Telos this is Lina my in-training student.”
Telos was a tall black haired man with a scar that ran up and down his left eye. He was a quiet man. I played ballads and classical song throughout the night. Hemel gave me a plat full of strawberries, which is my favorite fruit ever. When the party was over, Hemel offer me a ride home.
“It isn’t safe to walk home alone at night! I will walk you home!” Said Hemel. I came home and I saw Cody was sleeping on the sofa exhausted from his training. I put a blanket on top of him and went off to bed.
The next day I came down the wooden oak stairs, that creek as I went down it. My mother wasn’t at the kitchen and breakfast wasn’t cooked. I went up the stairs to see if my mom was in her bedroom.
“Lina, make breakfast and take care of mom while I’m out,” said dad. My dad seem worried and I have never seen him worry before. I cooked breakfast and Cody finished all his eggs and bacon. I put a cold towel on my mother forehead to keep her cooled. She didn’t eat much of her breakfast and she couldn’t hold her spoon up. My father came back home with a man.
He had on glasses and short purple hair. He carried a large black leather bag and went up the stairs along with my father. I eavesdropped on the closed door of my parent room.
“Cleric Crow what does my wife have?” My father asked wearily.
“She should’ve be cured by now, from my dispel but she still is ill. I think you will have to go ask Malefacent the mage to purge her.

Chapter 4


“Her service is expensive, it will cost you one gold. My job is done here, farewell.”
At dinner it was quiet and Cody didn’t eat much of his dinner. Father seem to have a lot on his mind. I knew he didn’t have enough money for Malefacent service. Each day Fleta would get weaker.
“Father, why haven’t mother recover yet?” Asked Cody. “The cleric already came.”
Renji explained to Cody, “The cleric couldn’t heal your mother-”
“Father, I have one gold, enough to pay for Malefacent’s service. Suddenly, we heard a bell ring from up stairs which was my mother. We ran up the stairs and mother was vomiting.
“Lina, quick go to Malecent’s shop, it behind Shouhei’s bar.” Said Renji.
I made my way to Malecent’s shop it was in an alleyway. A bunch of buff scary looking men was back there gambling away. A fight quickly started when one suspected the other one was cheating. There was a sign in front of the pink wooden door that read: “Malecent Magical Shop”. I opened the door and there was a twisted glass on top of the door that jingles.
There were jars filled with green liquid that preserved roots and weird looking objects in some of the jars. The book case was filled with scrolls with text I couldn’t read. A women came in front of me, she had white hair but her face looked young.
“What lurks you here?” Said Malecent.
“I’m here to ask for your service. My mother is severely ill and I need you to purge her,” said Lina.
“It will cost you one gold, purging is a high level of magic, that takes much of my strength,” said Malecent.
“Here is the money. I will show you where my house is,” said Lina.
We took one step out of the shop and there was mans whistling and saying “hi” to Malecent. One man came up and slapped Malecent butt. Suddenly both of his hand was gone. He screamed and fainted. I was afraid for a moment.
“His hands will magically grow back,” said Malecent coldly.
When Malecent came to our house, she immediately went up the stair and knew where my mother was dwelling. My dad greeted her.
“Ah, your mother has a very alluring sickness; nothing serious,” said Malecent.
She lifted her hands, the right hand had a red bunny shaped tattoo, and the left had a circular tattoo. Both of her hand was crossed, floating on top of my mother chest; she closed her eyes. Suddenly silver white light came out from her hand and seem to be seeping into my mother chest.
My mother opens her eyes.
“I feel no more pain in my chest nor feel feeble; thank you Malecent,” said mother.
Mother got to her feet and began to clean the house. Everything was back to normal.

Chapter 5


“You piano playing is getting better everyday!” Said Hemel who was very impressed. “Your final assignment is to play a list of songs, for a play coming up in three weeks; its sleeping hollow.”
Something shiny caught my eyes on Hemel’s neck. It was diamond shaped all blue, except for the red ruby in the middle. “I’ve never seen a necklace fashioned in that way.”
“This necklace is a gift from my friend,” answered Hemel.
I had to come to the church seven days a week to practice and memorize my songs for the up coming play.
“Okay, play Katrina Van Tassel theme when Capo meet Fura for the first time,” said Hemel.
Capo was a tall thin tan skinned man. Fura was had golden blondish hair and her cheeks was peach color. I have never them around town before and so this is my first time meeting them. After practice we had a chance to chat with each other.
“Hey, Lina have you tried this new food in town called “supreme pizza”? Capo said. “It is a baked flat bread with several toppings on top of the bread.”
“It taste even better with beans,” said Fura.
“I had that for dinner before,” said Lina.
Capo suddenly grab Fura’s romantic hat off from her head.
“Hey, give that back!” Yelled Fura.
“Not, until you catch me!” Capo said, while running away.
I watched them chased each other out the door, then Telos came. He walked passing me with out say a word; as if he didn’t notice my presence. I gather my piano lyrics, my Shepherdess hat, and left.
“You know Hemel you don’t have enough time.”
“I know.”
“Out of all the people you had overseen, why this one?”
“She is special.”
“Foolish, you have nothing to gain from this, only to lose what you have."

Chapter 6


“Yeah, eat dirt!” Said Meka.
“Don’t you go flirting with my girlfriend,” said Stephen.
“That enough you beat David badly, go away now!” Said Cody.
“Hey, let’s beat Cody!” Suggested Meka.
“That is a good idea, come here dog!”
“Ah!” Cody said running.
When the coast was clear Cody got back to David and carried him to his house. He slowly lay David on the sofa and called Lina. David woke up and look around for moment, to know where he was. Lina came down the wooden stairs and saw David all wounded.
“What happen?” Lina said while examining David.
“David got into a fight with Stephen for flirting with his ‘girlfriend‘.”
David whispered into Cody ears, “Your sister is sexy!”.
“Okay, take off your t-shirt so I can see what else need medicine on it,” said Lina.
“Sure,” David said grinning.
“There you all neatly clean.”
“Can sleep in your room, Lina? I can’t manage to walk without feeling sharp pains throughout my body,” David said grinning.
“Don’t worry I can carry you home David,” said Cody.
“Your parents might get worried, off you two go,” said Lina.
The next morning, Cody and David was practicing outside. David recovered fast but still limped when he walked. They were preparing for their final passage of rookie knighthood which was in four days.
“The day has come, you must defeat your upper classmate; the clever-knight,” said Kronos. “By defeating them, you show us your skills and ability.”
“Up first is David versus Stephen,” said Zelph.
“This won’t take long guys,” said Stephen with confidence.
“I’ll count to ten,” said Meka laughing.
They were both equipped with a wooden one handed sword and a wooden shield. Stephen came at David with quickness. David hastily held his shield; Stephen swiftly aim toward David shoulder. David dodges Stephen’s merciful blow which lead David enough time to slice and dice Stephen. Stephen fall to the ground.
“David, wins!” Said the announcer.
“David your reward is an axe, that mark your passage of clever knight.” Said Kronos. “Your skills of blocking is excellent.”
Cody was the last one up for his clever knight passage trial. He was nervous because he had to fight a tall sinister looking clever knight. Cody attacked first with bone slicer, an attack to the wrist which make the opponent swing slow. The sinister looking knight tried to slice and dice, injured Cody but his blow wasn’t strong. Cody finish him off with a strong blow. After the celebration, Meka came up to David.
“You were lucky that time.”

Ch.7


I pinned my orange-reddish hair over night. I gentility unrolled the pins one by one. At first my unrolled hair bounced wildly and then calmed itself down; leaving a jungle of twisted loops. I arrived at early for the play because I wanted to help the cast and Hemel set up the stage. The stage had small trees each in a red pot, flat cardboard boxes painted as houses, and cardboard white-bluish cloud that hung by a string attached to a hook on the dome.
A few minutes after we were finish setting the stage people from all over town arrived. Ms. Ren was chatting away to my mother about the latest gossip in town. David and Cody flirting with the neighborhood girls. Cleric Crow sitting next to Malecent. King Nickdaltro with his huge white beard came to watch the play, along with him was knight Kronos and Zelph.
The play begun and the audience became silent.*
“He dwell in the woods past the Pocantico bridge, looking for his head. He chases anyone who travel through the woods and chop off their heads; for this confused headless rider lust for his head.”
The play ended with audience applauding and a couple of whistles. After the play Hemel came up to me and handed my certificate of advance piano to me. The cast and my family were present, we had a little celebration with cookies. I, Hemel, and the cast stayed to clean up the church. There were plenty of floor cleaning that I had to do. Everyone left except for me and Hemel, who stayed to walk me home. Someone forgot to take down one of the cloud. I seat belted myself on the rope and pulled myself up to the cloud, as I got to the cardboard cloud I heard a snap, and I begun to fall.
I looked down and saw Hemel… He blue eyes were calm and deep as the ocean.. Everything were slowed in these last few moments. Hemel disperse a set of white feather wings, he flew to me, and catch me in his arms. Hemel matched with the dome painting of angels. Then without warning, Hemel wings abruptly stop and we fall fifteen feet from the ground.
“Are you alright?” I didn’t even bother to ask him what he was, I was more concern about him.
“I’m fine. It was true that I would get weak,” smiled Hemel.
His blue eyes begun to dimmed. I grab his hand and then I couldn’t no longer feel it. “What is happening to you?”
“I’m not from this world, the world I belong is taking me back. Lina, I will always be with you…Keeping you safe…”
Autumn came, everyone in town was doing their usual autumn things. Nuns gathering ripe Granny Smiths apples from the trees in the church’s courtyard, mothers knitting longer scarf for their growing children, and merchants lowering their summer products to be sold for the incoming winter items. I was strolling along Leon café, an outdoor café, and I was carrying a folder full of music notes.
“I wonder what happened to that handsome young blue haired man,” said the lady with many of diamond rings.
“I heard he went to a land called Teva, north from here, and across the ZeroZone sea,” said the lady dressed in Red.


New Story incomplete..Ch.1 Hemel's begining~

“Telo meet your new brother, Hemel.”
“Mom, how come he has blue hair?” Question Telo. “Father has brown hair and I have black hair like yours.”
“Hemel fate is bounded to a very special job in Elderine.”
“What is that special job?”
“Hemel is going to be a guardian angel, someone who watches over a human. Anyone can choose what job they want in Elderine but, guardian angel is chosen.”
Hemel was five years old when he started his guardian angel classes. His mother; helped him dress in his blue and white school outfit and Telo escorted him to his school. They walked in a garden full of rose bushes and cherry trees. At the end of the garden, appeared the school. It is huge, made of white-silvery stone and had a watch tower on top of the roof. The watch tower had green jewels and rubies embedded in the outside walls. Hemel entered the school, through a huge opening with one statue on each side; the statue had a curved bluejay bird with a long strand of ribbon flying around it. Hemel assigned room was number twelve. He walked this narrow hallway with contemporary paintings on the walls; at the end of the hallway he reached a opening. In the center of the opening stand a fountain filled with fishes; Hemel never seen before.

Hemel ish a boy in the story :P 1. The girl that david flirted with was not stephen girlfriend but an girl he had interest with and claim her as his "gf".
so the next segiment would happen like this..

-after david beat up stephen.. His "gf" lol, determine that it would be safe to go out with david since he can defend himself agaist stephen.

Q: Why is Hemel a boy in this story, when Hemel is a female character in fiesta?

A: Hemel in this story symbolize a guardian angel.. An angel can come in many forms like, a person who helped you but nobody don't know that person.

Q: What happen to Hemel in the end?

A: In the end, Hemel faded because he had a certain amount of time to stay on Lina's world...:) I would explain that in the next story which, is about where Hemel come from... It take place before he met Lina.

Q: Why couldn't make your story longer?

A: I'm lazy and comon i dun think yall would read a page I wrote discribing how Lina look; right ROFL.
