i have to say by far this is the most epic fail patch ever done by fiesta and i really dont care if everyone thinks diff....all u had to do is add a 80 abyss and some mroe mobs in the 7x one but no u had to add more people to the 7x abyss and yet we still have the same amount of mobs...............another question is it still 70-79 for the dungen atleast oh God i really hope so that is where i grind anyways so if it is do the patch thing i could care less really.......

But this time, I can't resist.

Changing the PVP maps in this way, in my opinion, is suicidally stupid. Sure it makes it so 8xers finally have a easy source of income, but it's screwed everyone else. Now whenever a party can't get a room, or is scorned cause someone is in 'their spot' [note, spot claiming is against the ToS to boot] all they have to do, is call in a friend or guild member of a higher level than the permitted abyss used to allow. Party them, and promptly dismantle whomever they see fit. This is especially going to screw ROA for most 7xers. Because now, the bored and ticked off 8xers who had been screwed in terms of money;

Are now free [so long as their under 87, meaning they can use BK weapons] to roam the place, and pick off any 7xer they see fit. Be it out of spite, revenge, or just for kicks cause their favorite football team just got reamed in a College game.

I think this is insanely idiotic, if anything they should have just given 8xers their OWN ABYSS, not changed the level format into this screwy, ego-driven format I forsee it shall become. Imagine it, in DOA, you're in a party with 6xers and you're grinding. Someone comes in, notices the room is taken by you and your friends, maybe he or she doesn't like that. Maybe he or she got fired that day and is pissed off, now he or she can grab a 7x friend or guild member, and rip your party limb from limb. And if you come back?

They can do it again;

And again;

And again.

and u got to think really lets say u go to doa as a lvl 75 which u can now all the way up to 76 really how much exp u going to get compared to the actuall abyss and plus how many 7x members u really see in the abyss not that many due to 50 mobs in the whole map rofl.......plus at 75 i get 3k per mob in relic wow cant wait to see how many i get in doa rofl seriously think about it ........

now i can go into two abysses instead of one at my lvl 61:)
plus i will be able to help my frnds in their abysses:) and also go visit the higher lvl abyss.
and its great to see that fiesta is updating the game regularly or it would get so boring:(

I'm just going to go ahead and put this out there, if HRA or w/e its called is full, I'm going to go into RoA to farm. Now seeing as I'm a full +9'd BK+9 axe fighter at lvl 86, no one is going to be able to kill me, well unless I get teamed. So if I wanted, I could walk into any room and kill off anyone in there and just take it over.

I may do this for kicks and giggles when I get bored some times =3

Having retired to a 6x character for a source of income when there was no 8x, I still can't even bring myself to agree with this. The 20 abyss was already a death-field as it is, now all the others will be the same? I can't say I won't appreciate being let into the 7x abyss for an entire one level (skipping kidmon); but... I also know my fellow 8x members. We're bored, bothered, agitated, and pretty powerful (not to be grossly overconfident or anything; it's just... 8x you get yourself some power), and we will just pick off the 7x people if they get in our way. And it'll be easy. I just don't think this was the smartest way of going about it... and I'm half afraid to see what the abysses will be like now.

Reading this makes my eyes bleed. Of course if you enhance all your own stuff you are more than likely to have more money than others. And have you seen some of the prices people are asking for 8x greens? That is why money is an issue.

It's bad enough people whine and complain that the cash shop exists. Now making money OUTSIDE of the cash shop is going to be even harder? Isn't that a wash kinda? First, anytime a guild or someone in a FBZ loses because someone uses sparkcash, the person who lost whines. Goes on a rant about how the sparkcash user 'cheated' and is a 'loser' because they spend their own money instead of their mothers social security check on a game they wish too;

And now we have people who are bored out of their minds [mostly 8xers cause theres no real challenge from what I understand once you reach that glorious 'BK level of freedom'] able to waltz in and pick us off like ants cause we what;

Don't buy their gear?

Didn't join their guild?

Don't feel like being their whipping posts in a VIRTUAL REALM?

The abyss is gonna be very packed. As if the abyss isn't crowded enough. Higher levels peoples can p-level their lower levels guildies/friends in their abyss. Imagine a 6x p-leveling a 4x or 5x in Dungeon Of abyss (6x Abyss). The abyss will become very crowded. I do not know how other players feel about this. I am just hoping that there will be more mobs in the 7x abyss. Only one room is considered "grind-able" for ONE party and the other 3 rooms kinda just barely "grind-able" for ONE party or solo.

Wow... picture this : three 7x player out of the whole server p-leveling their 5x/6x in the 7x abyssin the three different rooms. LOL... only one room is available :P
If there were more mobs in he corridors of 7x abyss, I PROBABLY wouldn't mind.

I hope some of the higher levels can be more considerate and not p-level their lower levels friends/guildies in your abyss. The abyss is chaotic and crowded itself now.

I just thought they should add a 8x abyss, more mobs in 7x abyss. That's all. But honestly, I would like to ask why would Outspark change the accessbility minimum level to abyss.

GM's aren't that tough to kill ^^ i remember some of rye slaughtering gm breathe.... she goes to her 16k dmg thing... we slaughter her again... she goes god mode.. we chain stun her

Single biggest error ever made. I see no possible improvement to allow the higher levels to hunt for gray monsters. They aren't going to drop much, they won't give much experience, and they will just take up the precious little space there is.

I have to agree with everything that being said. I think this is good for people that wants to aoe on higher monsters but will be problem with not enough monster and space for all and like many have said calling for backup because someone is in your spot. I think Outspark did this for the times when its hard to level up but forgot about all the problem that will come with doing this. I think better solution to the problem would be adding lvl 80 abysses and maybe having 20 level limit on all the abysses because this could be use to power leveling.

Ok, if I understood what everyone was saying correctly. This should mean that people of lower lvl (for example a lvl 6x) would be able to go into a level 7x dungeon, and vice versa. That makes no sense to me whatsoever. I previously took a break from Fiesta about one year ago, even then people were very touchy about keeping spots in the abyss (they would take turns to go stone so they would not lose the spot, 1 at a time. I should know, I used to do it.) Doing something like this would make it even worse. The reason for lvl requirements are to restrict such power struggles. I personally believe that the abyss's were fine as they were.

I agree and I just recently got there (To RoA). As Master of my guild....With Guild and Academy where else did I have to go? Now they are all going to want to go to MY abyss! At least when I was there I could say I'm in the Abyss, I cant talk or I cant help you right now. It's hard enuf to find time to get my own stuff done, find my own solice. I know its just a game, but it's also an escape for me too. Sometimes the people think it's my living, and I live for them. I am a mother and wife I get enuf of that at home.

I have spent plenty of time in the lower abyss' and the killing that goes on there is crazy! I dont want to kill or be killed I want to go to escape. At least in RoA there is a modicum of respect, most players ask, if you have a room, will you party or they just leave you alone. Let that level of immaturaity in now an pandemmonium will break loose. I fear what will happen when the Dungeons are open also...Which in some respect they are because a Guild Master can reassign any guild member to be Academy master and they in turn can warp to player side in any dungeon or abyss.

My feeling is this....How can they players learn thier craft well if they get power leveled and helped with every tiny quest without partying correctly, that is with members of thier own level?

Perhaps the thought behind this for Outspark is People will level faster....Buy more weapons/gear....buy more Spark cash to enhance said weapons /gear..... any thoughts?

Oh really? how do they get their silver and gold to sell in the first place? they have hacked characters that farm in the higher lvl areas. So another problem there I think. What's to stop a spam bot from going into a high abyss, coming upto someone in a mob that's too high for them to handle, and stealing all their high lvl drops to then sell for silver and make their "business" even stronger? give them more resources and you create more problems.

The older generation group of players are those that started playing since last year. They know the hard time of grinding back then when there are no abyss. The only possible reasons you have done this is to:

1) Kill the game
2) Make everyone over lvl 60 / Fast Lvling ( which is kinda bad if you wana make money, in other words, less SC would be spent)

3) Make the Abyss more PVP
Now.. an easier option would be to make some kind of reward system.. such as something like Kill Points? ( Don't we have that without it being used ) ?

Well do as you wish.. but I don't get it.

Using logic.. you should know that Lvling takes time and money.. this is a reason why people turn to SC.

I don't get it, I'm glad I'll be able to duo with my wife in TR now. She quit a while back and is now trying to catch up, but I also forsee cash shop pumped people like Lv 5x going into TR and taking the mobs. Problem? We at Lv 7x can't go backwards to get the same kind of reward, so all I can see is this working on one direction...

Also I just hit Lv 87... and I guess I can only go into the new abyss, but I guess also that everyone else Lv 10+ can go into my abyss and see if they can't take a few mobs here and there... I'm already limited on which mobs I can fight if I don't feel like spending 5 hours trying to kill them because my BK wep with a T4 aim scroll doesn't provide me with enough to even hit it...

I have not managed to read the whole thread so I may be repeating some, but I will say it anyway.

As nice as it will be to be able to help out friends and guildies in lower levelled abyss, I really disagree to this idea.

As many posters have stated before, this can potentially lead players to abuse the new system, rather than to take advantage of it in the intended way. There are already many stories of people unreasonably attacking others and disturbing them in the abyss these days. Whilst that is something that cannot be prevented and abyss is a place where "anything goes", I think that allowing higher levels in will just make things worse. Not everyone are considerate people, and there are "mean" people of the higher levels out there. Letting them in and giving them a chance to harass lower levels will only discourage lower levels to keep playing.

There is also the problem of overcrowding. Even though that means I can go to lower abysses myself, I rather being unable to go to the lower abyss than to have a higher level coming in and killing everything in sight in a matter of few seconds. Whether they are killing to farm money or not, that defeats the main "original" purpose of an abyss. If this pattern continues, then everyone will be hanging out at the lower abyss and where will the level 2x and onwards go?

Like some suggested, perhaps adding a 8x abyss would be easier (I thought there was one but I guess there isn't. I am not well informed on the upper brackets).

There are both pros and cons for this change, though I think the cons will potentially overcome the pros, and that will be pretty disastrous.

I really hope that Outspark take some time to reconsider this with the enormous amount of complaints as seen in this thread. I hope they will reverse this change.

Again, I really really hope they reconsider this. There are boss quests for each of these maps, and I know how difficult it is sometimes to find a boss and be able to kill it. Whether it'd be due to the boss not spawning, or not being able to find a good party to kill with, it isn't an "easy" task.

Yes, people can go in and maybe help their guildies/friends to kill bosses now, but again, people can also abuse this and go to lower level maps to kill their bosses for no reason. Of course I certainly hope people won't do that, but there's that possibility. It is the Internet after all, and it will be impossible to make sure everyone behaves in game all the time.

Removal of level limits also seems to remove the "aim" of the quests. Back then, we would have to find/make friends of similar levels so we can go and tackle the quests together. Now, everyone can have it easy by having a higher level friend help them.

Where is the challenge? How will new players learn how to play their classes? You can't spoil your child too much, or they won't learn. Same goes for this. You can't spoil the new players too much, or they won't even know how to mock as a fighter at level 89.

I believe these changes will reduce the quality of the game itself.

Morons...I've stood by every idiotic move Outspark has made throughout Fiesta's life, I've supported them no matter what. Then they fired Dakkon, and I began to question their competence...but I stood by them because I love Fiesta, and the friends I have made. Now though, its my turn to attack Outspark.

Outspark is filled to the brim with morons it seems...What possible reason could they have for making the minimum level for EVERY abyss level 10? There is no good reason! And then if that weren't bad enough, they extend teh lvl limit of each abyss to the 6th lvl after what it was! WHY??!?!?!? But no, they want to ruin everyones good time by allowing lowers into higher abysses to annoy us, to practically condone powerleveling! I thought Outspark was against powerleveling...despite the 30 level limiter, there will always be level 10s in the 30s abyss begging to be plvled, 50s in teh 70s abyss begging to be plvled...

My plea is that Outspark retract this ***** and leave abysses the way the were, and just add the 8X abyss. Until that time though Ouspark is branded Fiesta morons by me, and I will not buy a single dollars worth of SC until the abysses are reverted.

I don't usually post on the forums, unless it's a sales or buying thread. Since most of the time, posting your own opinion, turns into someone call you an absolute moron or warring you in game because you don't bow down to them in a virtual game.

But this time, I can't resist.

Changing the PVP maps in this way, in my opinion, is suicidally stupid. Sure it makes it so 8xers finally have a easy source of income, but it's screwed everyone else. Now whenever a party can't get a room, or is scorned cause someone is in 'their spot' [note, spot claiming is against the ToS to boot] all they have to do, is call in a friend or guild member of a higher level than the permitted abyss used to allow. Party them, and promptly dismantle whomever they see fit. This is especially going to screw ROA for most 7xers. Because now, the bored and ticked off 8xers who had been screwed in terms of money;

Are now free [so long as their under 87, meaning they can use BK weapons] to roam the place, and pick off any 7xer they see fit. Be it out of spite, revenge, or just for kicks cause their favorite football team just got reamed in a College game.

I think this is insanely idiotic, if anything they should have just given 8xers their OWN ABYSS, not changed the level format into this screwy, ego-driven format I forsee it shall become. Imagine it, in DOA, you're in a party with 6xers and you're grinding. Someone comes in, notices the room is taken by you and your friends, maybe he or she doesn't like that. Maybe he or she got fired that day and is pissed off, now he or she can grab a 7x friend or guild member, and rip your party limb from limb. And if you come back?

I also agree 100% with you. I think it's an incredibly stupid idea to allow this... there was already not so much space when I got OUT of 7x and now that the 8x can go back it's going to be flat @ss crowded.

I honestly hope they see this as a major flaw and take it out immediately. There was already enough imbalance in the abyss system before with parties slaughtering parties...

Actually going through SEG is much easier, my mage just got trained like 5 times standing in the pathway doing coll license.

Stand in the pathway, wait till someone going to seg pull all the mob, walk through the gate. Than wait and follow someone on their mover to zhoom to uruga and follow them.

Very save pessage just give time. LOL even before they turn off the mob auto attack at FOM I got my level 1 mage to elderine safely, it will be fun to bring a level 1 to 7X dungen just to proof my point :)

No. I do get what you mean. But, however, how are you gonna protect yourself in abyss among a party of people, same or higher level than you, buffs up, and comes and attack you for spade room in RoA? What are you gonna do about it? How are you gonna protect yourself from this situation? I am a not a pvper myself and not a fan of it, if there is a option to remove it, I will totally do it. Just to protect myself, I have to charm/extenders. As much as I don't wanna buy CS for charms and extenders, I can't think of anyway to prevent myself from getting killed in abyss.

Others can call me weak or w/e for using CS items I don't care. I play this game for its PvE features I love it, not its PvP feature.

I have not managed to read the whole thread so I may be repeating some, but I will say it anyway.

As nice as it will be to be able to help out friends and guildies in lower levelled abyss, I really disagree to this idea.

As many posters have stated before, this can potentially lead players to abuse the new system, rather than to take advantage of it in the intended way. There are already many stories of people unreasonably attacking others and disturbing them in the abyss these days. Whilst that is something that cannot be prevented and abyss is a place where "anything goes", I think that allowing higher levels in will just make things worse. Not everyone are considerate people, and there are "mean" people of the higher levels out there. Letting them in and giving them a chance to harass lower levels will only discourage lower levels to keep playing.

There is also the problem of overcrowding. Even though that means I can go to lower abysses myself, I rather being unable to go to the lower abyss than to have a higher level coming in and killing everything in sight in a matter of few seconds. Whether they are killing to farm money or not, that defeats the main "original" purpose of an abyss. If this pattern continues, then everyone will be hanging out at the lower abyss and where will the level 2x and onwards go?

Like some suggested, perhaps adding a 8x abyss would be easier (I thought there was one but I guess there isn't. I am not well informed on the upper brackets).

There are both pros and cons for this change, though I think the cons will potentially overcome the pros, and that will be pretty disastrous.

I really hope that Outspark take some time to reconsider this with the enormous amount of complaints as seen in this thread. I hope they will reverse this change.

I love the way you put it. And I totally agree with you^^ had been experiencing bad time in lvl 20 abyss with all the hostile behaviours of some players.Never have I felt so discouraged in lvling b'cos of the non stop harassment and killing in abyss everyday, over n over again. Its hard to even enjoy ;_; now i dont know what's going to happen in ROA where I also enjoy spending my time there ;_;

I also thought of quitting when I heard of this changes. ( but deep in my heart it hurts thinking about it. I have lots of precious memories here which kept me staying since fiesta started )

Pros: Those drops you needed to make potions or scrolls are now easily obtained from any abyss you care to visit.

Cons: Downside of that is the impact on the economy for those selling those things. Hmmmm, no more sbl at umpteen silvers each! Pity the poor vendor but yay for my pocket.

Pros: You wanted revenge on TK because you couldn't solo him before and now you are a mightly level 70-80 you can go in and kick his butt every four hours.

Cons: Oh, wait! Was that a level 50 who needed him for a quest? Ohhhh, too bad, so sad for that guy. Guess he'll have to wait around for another four hours and hope you don't beat him to TK.

Pros: I can now visit any DUNGEON or abyss I want to no matter what my level. Oh, yay me! I can check out the level 80 abyss without having to receive that privilege by acquiring the appropriate level! Too bad for all you suckers who worked so hard to reach cap and beyond the hard way! I can just waltz in like I own the place.

Cons: If I do it's guaranteed I'm going to die!!! Over and over and over. BTW, thanks for letting me check it out and only killing me once.

Cons: You are going to lose experience points in abyss anyway, but now you really will as you get massacred by every pvp maniac in Isya over and over and over. Ahhh......but there is a way to make it without losing exp! All you have to do is spend your real life money and buy Blessings of Teva! Hmmm.....wonder who thought that up?

Pros: those lovely shiney weapons and armor I couldn't get and drooled over I can now acquire myself. Just bring a big gang of friends into any abyss, slaughter the boss or multiple mons and we all should reap the rewards of a job well done.

Cons: there goes the online economy again! Hope you all have sold all your fancy weapons and armor because the price is going to go DOWN since everyone can now get their own. Oh, and the same thing goes for the over priced learning scrolls that some genius set up as rare drops in abyss.

You know, sometimes when things aren't broke they shouldn't be messed with. Taking away peoples' sense of accomplishment by making it all too easy ruins the whole game atmosphere. How do those who worked harder when it was so much harder to advance feel about everything being handed on a silver platter to those who are following you? I predict a lot of po'd people over this one, at least amongst those who actually want the challenge of the game rather than just a slaughter fest of those weaker than themselves.

And what's with this Academy thing? Can someone please explain the point and reason behind that? Handing over more goodies to folks who should be proud to just be making level doesn't make any sense to me.

Just my humble opinion, free and worth every cent of it.

1. This patch will increase in game inflation
2.outspark will lose money because people wont feel the need to make the game easier with spark cash items
3.higher lvls will go to lower dungeons just to kill lower lvls
4.easier to lvl through plvl
I would say that there are more negitives then positives. MD tear earing have changed to just incase anyone hasn't noticed, in stead of 2%aim it is +10aim.
