I don't know about everyone else but I've been finding it hard to gain the event items for the quest...?

yeah they're rare drops, also, as far as i know, they wont drop from green mobs (and obviously grey)

I'm trying to figure out if all monsters drop them despite their lvl. I've killed goblins, procks, harkans, King coils....heck, I've slaughtered a few hundred slimes already. xD

Also, how long does the event last?

im not sure, but ive been killing lots and lots of goblins and ive gotten nothin :(

Im doing this Halloween quest with Harkan lic using my mage, but still, I only get 33 souls, from 6%-Eliminator to 30%-Destroyer.

Looks like I have to buy from people XD

yeah, i spent about 2 hours doing greenky repeat quest (they and archons are yellow mobs) i got about 13, another few hours with various pt/duo and i had about 35 ... then i started paying for them :D

I don't think that being able to get 5-18 indicates that they are rare at all. That seed quest to make the cake, now that was a rare find. I worked for hours to find a seed and got no-where. But I was going duo with my mage partner last night and he got about 19 souls and I got about 9 in an hour of grinding blue clover trumpys. They are yellow for me and red for him. ******* still got more than me though. grrr. lol.

i disagree about the seeds, the drop rate was incredibly random, i searched for hours on my cleric and found none, i searched a flower ... simply for fun and found 5 in a drop ... then i found out they're not trade or storageable and quit the quest out of frustration XD
the lamps are rare drops considering how many you need for the cat mask, it would mean you need about 100 hours of dedicated lamp farming to get the 250 you need

I know the seed one gave you heaps in one go, but I have never encounted another event quest quite like that one. I tried numerous times to harvest for it and just ended up giving it up. The prize simply wasn't worth it. But the lamps drop at a fairly good rate. I don't think they will be taking this quest out for at least a week (at least I hope!) which should give players plenty of time to at least go one round with this quest. If you want to dedicate your time to getting the permanent mask, then that is an option there for you. But it really would only require 3-6 hours of play to at least get something, and it is doing something you would have to anyway - killing mobs. Personally, I hated the seed one because I had to go out of my way to harvest flowers which are only in small patches. Mobs, however, are everywhere, and you need them for quests and to grind anyway, so getting the lamps is a nice bonus :D

I get an average of 20 each hour. On 30 hours I will have enough for my 2 chars :)

thats very true, i can just follow my greenky repeat and gather lamps at the same time ^^
and i want both masks, MINE! >: (
