View Full Version : Ok....What's The Point of Taking the Level Restriction Off of The Dungeons?

Now, the Abyss thing I'm ok with. I've never really had a problem with PKing or KSing. However, I don't agree with taking the lvl restrict off the dungeons. Killing ZK, GGK, or whatever always felt like a real accomplishment to me. It was a nice way to make friends on your lvl without having to search about towns or killing fields.
Now there are going ot be partyies in there only to kill the dungeon master for green drops, leaving people who actually need the boss to wait forever to kill them!!!
Fiesta....you have finally crossed the Impaler. xD

Im definetaly not okay with the abyss thing.
It would indeed be nice of someone could have any good answer on how this improves the game...

I'm glad that they allowed mounts now. It was annoying to have to wade through all those monsters to get to the boss.

But about the dungeon thing, I don't think it matters if high lvls go in there to go hunting for greens, all monsters in there should be grey right? That means no drops right? :/
But if they do drop...then it's a problem.

I hope that you realize that riding throught dungeon you create very nice HUGE!! train because everything there aggro like honey attract bears...
So you get to the boss but in your way you might wipeout anyone who will have unfortunate "pleasure" to be in your path.
Furthermore, now when level cap is removed dungeons will be flooded by players witch will die by one hit <especially in +40 and high dungeons> and making quest compleeting for proper for such dungeons levels impossible.
Honestly i really wonder what a hell OS think to make such move??? <except boost BoT selling of course>.

also there wont be any lv restriction on dungeons so all low lv can come to ghs or trumphy remains for uber exp and more ks, wars, space fights. This is total fail pls make it how it was OS

First saw they remove lvl limit for both BG and dungeons I was like '*** aren't enough plvl-d players alrdy?'....Seriously the only thing they achieved with this, that people roaming in zones they shouldn't be lol... I mean come to think of it: a lvl 5x plvl-d by higher lvl players in zones such as TR and LoT....how many exp is that=.=........I might sound bitter but it's utterly unfair to players that lvl-d up normally (read: not roaming in lvl restricted zones much higher lvls than them) and produces more noobs than they already now.
And the dungeon with mover thingie....errrmm....one of the main point of dungeons that those are harder maps (find bosses avoid add-s and other mobs etc etc)...but now wiith mover its nothing but a joke.
(For plvl-rs it's a bright side though that they can pull faster >.>)

Depends who gives the last blow. Its quite easy to party with a low lvl for whom they are still yellow and give him the last blow. The lower lvl gets tons of xp (despite of the higher lvl in party: quantity instead of quality) and the higher lvl gets the nice drops.
It works quite well ^_^

I am actually quite pissed with this so...
I don't know but seriously, No GMs nor GLs have answered us on the 10/28 Downtime thread. No answer, no reason as to why they wanna remove level restrictions, to abyss and dungeon.
They way I see it, they just wanna
1) Make more people buy Blessing of Teva because you lose EXP when someone kill you in abyss.
2) Make more people buy Tough Cookie Pack and Charms and Crit Suit and extenders for self-defense purposes in abyss.
3) Totally ruined the gameplay experience for those who do not spent much on Cash Shop items. I believe there are those who buy SC only for the suit. They probably do not want to waste them on Charms and extenders. Hey Outspark!!! Those who buy little amount of SC are your customers too!! OMG <.<

I do not understand any of this....this whole patch seems to make no logical sense to me.
Freebattle zones were already creating mid-level newbs...now we'll have them and the KSers and powerleveling beggars in the 40 and 50 abyss as well. All the abyss areas were put in the same place, so it's not like it was hard to reach a "0" level, get out of your old abyss and into your new one (also, what's the point of a level 10 battle zone? you have enough quests to get to 20 in two days of easy-playing). And now we'll have the additional bonus of level 30 and 40 noobs in the low level abyss killing low level players for kicks....
The dungeon thing makes even less sense to me...were the new players that grew up with soft-easy-cushy Fiesta complaining that fighting an enemy at their level with players at their level was too hard or something? Maybe they did it because of the guild warp thing and they decided that they'd just let everyone in until they can fix that...but seriously, now we'll have parties with level 8X clerics in there constantly farming for drops.
And movers in dungeons? For the sake of sanity, WHY?! People already get trained in normal areas with aggroed monsters (Scaffold Execution Ground, for example) why would you allow it in a place with enemies that are stronger than normal that offer less exp per kill?
I seriously want to see the data they collected that made them jump to the conclusion that these were GOOD ideas....

Nei whit all due respect but i highly doubt that throwing Fiesta in chaos is a good metode of improvement at this moment.
I have fellings that you underestimate level of displeasure of community over things witch happend in Fiesta.
I cannot speak in name of whole community but latest threads over implements witch should never be apply prove that we are dangerously close to point of no return and very soon Fiesta might end as just another position in MMOS list at web browsers <whit good graphic and fatal gameplay>.
I say that once and i will say this again, Fiesta IS not only one MMO in the internet so style of acting witch OS undertake might end that Fiesta might not see another Christmas...

I agree with you, Totally. There is absolutely no point Taking off the lvl restriction.
High lvl can go in low lvl dungeon and kill bos for fun (without thinking lower lvl need them and spawntime is 4 hours)
and Low lvl Can go in High lvl abyss or dungeon, to be powerleveled or full more the abyss and no place for others.
Honestly, it was the worse idea they had; :/

As for people assuming GLs have something to do with the patches, we don't. Sorry. We're just monitors. We don't assist with the patches. So we're as suprised as you guys with these new changes.

Idea coming up:
For the next patch, how about having portals to all areas in all towns, with no level restrictions on any of them.
Oh, and also, soften the enemies below level 60 up a bit more, but give them more exp
And be sure to put in more easy-yet-high-exp quests for 40-65, those players that needed this last patch will need this one as well....
Finally, let higher levels in low-level KQs...just to balance it out, you know?
And to think...my suggestion for battlegrounds was to layer them with a greater variety of monsters -easier monsters to the outside for 0-4 levels and tougher monsters that grant more exp to the inside for 5-9 levels...what was I thinking? It is so much more sensible to just go into the NEXT abyss at a 5 level and start there!

True that we can express our displeasure but what is now really important that those complains will reach people who made decision to add those implementations and whoever make such decision should come here and explain to us reasons laying behind this move.
This whole situation only may create assumption that staff have in reality no idea what is going on in Fiesta <especially in abbyses area> so they should not be suprised that no one jump from joy... but they will rather heard growing up angry voices and that is another warning sign that things are really bad here.

Ok, just for fun, I decided to return to the Graveyard of the Abyss. Ya know, the former 30-39 Abyss field? An lo and behold, as soon as I pass through the gate, a lvl40 fighter Devs me without warning. Now, granted, I'm a lvl44 fighter myself and easily handed him a whoopin' the likes of which he had never seen before, imagine if I was a lower lvl player? Instant death!!

They should also remove all aggro from monsters so people dont get killed that often.
And instead of swords, claws and weapons, monsters should have pillows to hit with.
And how about a system to instantly teleport a high lvl cleric to your position when you get below 1/2 your hp!? pretty nice, right? They should make buff available to every cleric on lvl10 aswell.
And they should double all drops so items are no longer that expensive.
I think we are on to something here ^_^

In short:
There no longer level restictions at Dungeon areas.
Level +10 are allowed to access to high level abbyses.
Lifted ban of movers for dungeon areas.
If in your mind are good improvements then good luck trying finish any dungeon quest having lowbies tangling along you.

You forgot somethign important: Greens need to drop at every kill with at least 1/2 of their stats maxed, and blues need to drop as often as greens used to drop with all stats maxed.
edit: aw crap...I just remembered my fighter still has to kill GGK...I'm never gonna get him now

Perhaps this is some sort of test...to see who can stick it out. They throw crap at us and try to see who leaves. Then after a few horrid patches, they clean it up better than before for the players that stuck through it!
