what is necroing a thread?

1. first of all it depends on what drops you are trying to get. Some drops like the rares can drop anywhere at anytime, and some rares, like the sealed reports drop in certain areas of the world, like grudin through salem ect.
Many maps have overabundance of certain types of armor or stuff.

For example: Happiness armor would drop in X map, if you want to find some GOOD ap6 stuff, you just have to spend enough time there. just killing and picking up drops till you find it and it may take forever.

This is a short sort of vague description I know but I am too lazy to provide a list of maps and drops here. Go check the quests and guides section of forums for more detailed info.

2. Necro-ing like what you did to get that event biased thread closed is to post in an old outdated thread instead of letting it quietly die. Like a necromancer you have brought back the dead, and nobody really likes the undead...unless they are helpful and fun like the end of the movie "sean of the dead'

What are each of the stats (Pow, int etc....) and what do they do for each class?

Pow adds damage with your cane, dagger, sword, staff, ect. It's used also to equip shields for neos and the entire neo line (rogues, assassins, shadowmaster), and canes and staffs for the Cleric/Mage line (aco, app, priest, holy advenger, ect ect)

Int adds magic, which is helpful for Acos (and the rest of the healing line) and Mages, although it's totally useless for all the other classes

Agi adds dodge, attack rate, and although very slowly, skill rate. It's the most useful stat for the rogue line

Men adds skill spam rate, which is useful for Scouts (and their line) and mages, so you can cast faster. A lot of clerics use it too, but it's not required.

Sta adds hp, which is helpful for all classes

Wis adds mp, which is most helpful for the classes that are mana dependent (Mages, Acolytes, ect) Although helpful for other classes as well.
I know that it was once a requirement for blazing, but I don't think it's needed anymore.... Correct me if I'm wrong...

I am guessing that the quest will not work for a Xenian. If your intention is not to create a super Xenina, talk to the class change priestess. She is near the Solstice Guide and the Solstice Trainer. Pick a job and you will be teleported to the appropriate guild master. Just follow instructions and you have a new job, skills, and gear. Otherwise, killing the mobs outside will continue to level you up.

Kiting is 'killing in transition'
it involves a long range character attacking/slowing a monster down,
and then moving back, as not to get hit. Kiters are Aco/clerics/scout/archers/app/mage..

it does! im not yet a templar/disc (also known as predator) but, it is 2nd to warrior in terms of def, average dmg and has self buff.. i wouldnt say it's the strongest but it is certainly a fun character 2 play!

That's probably because you haven't tracked yet. use a tracker somewhere and then use a warp scroll. ;)

The return scroll returns you to the city where you saved your location. This is generally Bryn at first. If you transport to Essene, you can talk to the transporter lady and save location there. Then the return scroll will take you to Essene. The warp scroll takes you to the last place you used a tracker.

Whether you become a scout or a rogue depends on how you play. Do you want to stand back and shoot things, or do you want to dive in and fight close range. Regardless, for the first 45 levels you are a neo, so agi is the main stat to put points in. You do need to add one to pow everytime you get a new shield. If you go to the class discuss/rogue section of the forums you will find a neo level up list thread. This will tell you when you get what and the power requirements for each shield. Basically train where the mob names are grey to white and you will be fine and should level very fast through the 20's. Mobs with pink to red names are going to be much harder to kill and not worth it at this point. Quests like delivering the message, repairing the guards sword, ect. can give decent exp at your level. I think the transported gives one for fairy spheres too. It isn't much experience but the kron from these helps.

Edit: The only thing I've done wrong I think is I used 3 points in STA because I thought it would increase my defence, other than that it looks peachy :p and thank you for your advice.

LOL whoops somehow I thought I read that you're a neobut I just reread it and I don't think you are. xD

Whatever class you are, you should be in your second set of gear.

As for " better gear", just get the normal gear from Essene[if you're a magic class] or Brynhild[if you're a fighting class]. Until about level 50 or so, you shouldn't even worry about gear with AP or multiple +'s. +1 gears are fine. Just don't waste your money on 'good gear' because the levels under 50 go by super fast. :)

2) How do I close the game? The only way I know how is to close the game is to open my task manager on my computer and end the program altogether.
3) How do I go back to the main menu to choose another char or another server w/o having to close out the whole game and restarting?

Okay, to sit hit your page down key. Hitting esc will open a menu that will allow you to close the game or to return to character selection. If you cancel out of character selection I think you can choose which server.

I really hope you can help me...

1) How do I make my char sit to restore hp?

@perffectshotjeff -- If you are just starting, The moment you choose a server - You are greeted with a window that lets you create your toon. If you need help selecting the toon because of the graphical glitch during it - You can use this link to help you out. http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127446 If by chance you've somehow bypassed it, you can click the "Create" button that is in the character select screen after the server select.

Also, the next time you post; Please make sure to check the latest date that was posted in the thread. It helps to prevent necroposting (bumping topics over a month old with no recent activity). ^^
