I'm a Lvl 60 Cleric - HELP WITH MY BUILD

when i first started out, i read all the boards and decided that 1:1 str:end was the build for me. i soloed a lot, so i thought that build was best. when i got to lvl 37 i made a friend & he is a mage and we are partied like 85% of the time (i solo when he's not around). i use a hammer. now i am lvl 60 and i think my build is all messed up.


STR: 321 (+27)
DEX: 181
END: 217 (+36)
INT: 131
SPR: 172



i just lvled up and i got 12 pts to use. someone told me to buy restat scrolls and start my build over. what about putting some pts into dex.... i heard that idea floating around too. i'm totally confused!!!!!! please help me!

if ur soloing, the best build for u would be full str or 25 spr, rest str. end points arent needed generally since clerics can simply outheal the dmg of most mobs. damage is what clerics lack the most, so str points are a necessity if u solo.

however, if ur gonna party most of the time, then full end is the wisest choice, as since ur not gonna be fighting, ull want to maximize ur defenses and hp

Yeah. I agree with the post above.
I'm a solo cleric, and I'm 25 spr, rest str. We can take a lot of damage; make up for it with end equips, and you should be fine. If you party for the most part, you might want full end as that is a support cleric's build, so you'll be able to take the abuse from the heal aggro. :P

I personally solo most of the time, if im not healslaving. But even then, im running this at 59(almost 60 xD)

Im wearing full borrowed END/DEX gears, so that explains why you clearly have more STR but i have lots more END/DEX xD

I sure dont kill fast, but i like the 25 SPR, just incase you want some extra mdef and sp and crit(i feel as if 25 spr is a basic need for most or all classes. Oh, i have 9 points open, as well xD

Im likely going for high end high SPR. You should'nt have or need to be solo'ing a lot when you're 80+, since your damage will suck anyway, but i'd advise some SPR in place of some of that end.

I don't see anything wrong with your build.

It sounds like you party more than you solo, but still want some solo-ability for when you can't party.

END helps you survive when you party, STR helps you when you solo. So a split of STR/END should work well for you.

You might want to shoot for 50 END, rest STR. After 50 END, you gain less Block Rate per point.

I don't think you need SPR at all. It doesn't help you in parties, except against the occasional magic-using mob, and STR helps you more when it comes to soloing.

Well I will say put the rest of your points to end.

You hit 60 now you attract monsters like honey. Mage will have cool down expecially when they done with Nova. Right after Nova, you heal everything attracted to you. Some is stil hitting Mage so you still need to heal Mage, so now heal rejuvine together, bang you got everything and health drop. Mage in cool down can do nothing so sacricife and both of you die.

Try to put your future points to end till hit 50 of them and you can just sit there releax while waiting for Mage cool down over.

Im Full STR but there are times that I wish that I had added some points into END..... I carry rings and scrolls at all times but sometimes they arent enough. After level 60, I found myself more and more in partys and duos and my lack of (default) END makes my job difficult. Your 1:1 STR/END build is a nice Utilitarian balance....you are efficient enough to solo and efficient enough to support.... You may not be the best build meant for either individually but you can certainly multi-task...you are already a better-suited support Cleric than me

so i'm gonna go with END to 50, then the rest will be STR.
